A: They were/are home based businessesQ: How much did it cost you to start? A: The first one about $500, the one I m doing now Free.Q: What is your business? A: First: Online Retail of Baby Products. Second: See my source for more details.Q: Are you making any profit/ how much? A: First: Lost money. Not even a single sale. Second: Not much to speak of yet probably $20 or less (but I m in the black, I just started and am building my business).Q: How did you get it started? See my source for more details. My first business didn t do so well, I spent a lot of money and didn t make a single sale. The second business - what I m doing now - is free to sign up and has different components that you can join or not join if you choose. Some components are free and some aren t (those that aren t free have a free trial period). The free ones have a more limited earning capability but can be used to build capital for the ones with more substantial earning potential. The free component can also be used as proof that money can be made online before committing to options that require a monthly fee. You can make a little bit of money in a short period of time but to build significant income will take time, effort, and persistence. It s not difficult to do, but it s not easy money either. If you re interested see my source for more information.

My first business was a content based website. I wrote about health and wight loss. Now I am earning money from this, but not so much. less then 1 $ per day. Now I m thinking to build a new e-business with site build it. It s a professional solution for a small online business

Is it legal for a food-business to use Mamp;Ms in their desserts? -

If I wanted to open my own cafe that sold desserts... would I just buy m m s wholesale and use them as a topping? or would i have to get some sort of permission?also... could i alter their product (m m s) by melting them and using the liquid as a topping?i just don t understand what s allowed and what I need permission for

Yes it s legal. You could probably get generic M ms cheaper though.

No, you don t need permission. You may need permission to use their trademark on your menus. But for a small business, you re not likely to face any trouble. As long as you follow proper food handling and local health regulations, do as you please.

as long as you pay for the M M s - it doesn;t matter what you do with them after thatMcDonald s has several brand name candies they use with their ice cream Flurries or whatever they are called

You could use that chocolate, it will not be seen on the dessert because it is already melted.

Why doesnt a community support a small business after the first year when the business is good for the area? -

Enter more detail here (Optional)

Probably because the business does not provide goods or services that the community wants. Or they don t provide these goods/services at a reasonable price.

BC, I m befuddled by the tone of your question. You appear to have a sense of entitlement about your company -- the community doesn t support me even though I m good for the community. But if your organization isn t supported by the community, the cold, hard truth is that people in that area probably don t agree with your assessment.Rather than feel bitter about the community, you need to start figuring out why your prospects have changed. ASAP. Have new, better competitors entered the picture? Has your product mix missed the mark? Are your prices wrong? Have your services slipped?Your market research needs to start today, right now. Ask customers, What can we do better? See if former customers will tell you why they left. Ask ask ask. (You might have to hire someone to ask for you, so that you re getting honest responses.) Then make the changes to fix your business as quickly as you can.In other words, this isn t a community problem, BC. You re the one who needs to change behavior. Sorry for the tough love.
