Absolutely not. Amway/Quixtar is just another pyramid scheme. My best friend did it and foreclosed on her home with in a year. They expect you to buy exorborant priced items that are comparable to items that you can get at any of your local retail stores. The trick is to get other people to buy this stuff under your account. Everyone you get into the business goes under you on the pyramid so that you profit on their spending then they get someone under them which moves you higher on the pyramid and so on and so forth. However, this is time consuming, difficult, and costly. My friend practically begged me to get in on it and I refused. She finally got me to go to a meeting with her just to see what it was about and I left flabergasted by the whole event. The people leading the meeting were actually telling the audience that their bills were a secondary priority to buying Quixtar products. The sad part is that people believed them. I met people whos credit had been ruined, didn t pay their power bill that month, foreclosed, etc.... It s terrible because these folks thought they were justified and had their priorities in order. The women and men weren t allowed to eat together, women didn t speak in these meetings; in short, it was the closest thing to a cult I have ever personally experienced. Needless to say I didn t go back and I certainly didn t join. My friend made it a personal goal of hers to educate everyone on the evils of Amway/Quixtar for about a year. The first one, as long as it has the correct zip code, will probably get to you with no problem.The second one will probably be shipped to the city and state whose zip code you put down. Once it gets to that post office, it s up to the postal employees there to either ship it right back to the sender, or to do the detective work required to figure out what correct zip code you meant to put down. Either one could happen. Try to be a little more careful in the future. I don t understand how it s possible to make mistakes like this when writing down your own home address.

Unless you want me to do something else, here is what I would do: You have every right to refuse service to abusive customers and ask customers to leave, but that is not the best way to handle the situation. Use the line, I am sorry, but I am going to have to ask that you leave now. Please, come back when we aren t as busy. If possible give a coupon for a small discount to the person you ask to leave. They might be a jerk, but they might be happier when they come back with the coupon. After they leave, give the same discount to the other customer. Repeat behavior is not acceptable. The person yelling at customers will not get another coupon. The owner can refuse to let them shop there again.Customers who yell at you can be differed by saying I am sorry, am not meeting your expectations. Let me get the manager/somebody else to help you. It looks like everyone is unanimously saying to walk in . I however wouldn t automatically say this. I own a business and I prefer that they do not come in to give me a resume. I prefer to receive the resumes via email and then invite qualified candidates in for an interview. I say this as a warning only though. It really depends on the type of job you are applying for. If it is at a big company then it is unlikely you would even get to see the person who is doing the hiring. If it is a small company then your chances are better and if it is a really small company then you might even be able to make a job for yourself. For example ask yourself what do I like to do? and what am I good at? I hope you are looking for a job that has to do with your answers. That will make you more confident. If you are good at something and think you can help someone else make more money by doing it then you could go in to their office, not just with a resume, but with a plan. If you ve been outbid, there s nothing to cancel. You didn t win the item, and you won t have to pay for it.EDIT: It looks like you tried to bid 99 cents about 10 or 12 times. That s not how you bid on items with a reserve.
