OK so i need to make money and i have some things i can sell (my ipod, my clarinet,and some CD s) (i already have another clarinet and another ipod by the way so i don t need the other one.) but i cant go to a pawn shop cause you have to be 18. and my moms a ***** and wont do it for me. so where can i go to sell it without an credit card and crap like that? please help this is really important to me. like REALLY like life n death situation. well yeah.

you could ask around and see if some of your friends/people at school want to buy the ipod or CD s. I don t know about the clarinet though, would a store that sold that type of stuff buy it? I would suggest a yard sale, but it doesn t seem like enough stuff, and its starting to get to a bad time of the year for something like that.

GREAT idea telling a 14 year old to sell something on craigslist guys. SERIOUSLY??? She s 14 - don t RECOMMEND a kidnap cuz thats exactly what will happen if she sells her crap on craigslist. Word of mouth at school would probably be your best bet here hon.

craigslist is for any age, but be aware of scammers and only deal locally. don t agree to checks, take cash only - i mean it. you ll have to meet up with the person. i sold stuff that way. it s free too and easy.

I currently work full time but I m looking at starting a small business on the side using which is a hobby of mine. I am working on realising my lifetime ambition to run a small guest house in the West Country. I currently work as a self employed business consultant for the licensed economy so could be based from anywhere in the UK to continue this. I have 2 houses with mortgages (equity of about ��80k) so although not a good time to sell, it is a good time to buy, being able to take advantage of lower prices and also to make sure that completion takes place before the start of the 2010 season. I am out of job currently, and looking for a job that something I can do. I have lost confidence over the course of years that fact I have not been able to maintain job due to anxiety disorder / panic attacks. I used to work at a rent-a-car place. My job was to drive cars between locations with a partner driving another car to bring me back. I recently applied for numerous merchant accounts. I was approved for 3 of them and was left with 3 working merchant accounts. I run one website and only wanted 2. If in furture, I try to apply again, will cancelling the initial account effect any decisions on my second application?

If it was for the same business name, then yes it might. If it s for a different business name, then no it should not.

why would you need more than one merchant acct, ever? - there are minimum monthly fees on each account so you are paying those twice for no reason

My husband is trying to start a business, and we cannot get the funding. Is TARP Program really going to help people like us or is it going to benefit the people that already have businesses, or people who don t really need it? Everything is in line for him to start, but no bank wants to loan $150 for a great business plan.
