How to Start a Translating Business? -

The location: Houston. I need to write a business plan, which it s really hard.

To start a translating business it shouldn t be that difficult. I am not sure about the licensing situation you have over there but you would need to have a Translator properly qualified with paperwork to prove it (not easy to get, I looked into being a translator myself once) and then you just need the work. This work could came from a variety of sources and it is the main core of it all. You don t even need an office to start as it can all be done via mail and if needed you can have receptionists to pick up the phone for you. Also, it would help knowing someone in the same line of work should you have spikes of too much work all of at once. You don t want to turn any work away, you want to be precise, organized and relatively quick with your turnover..The net would be a great place to find customers. That s how you d do it.. as per your plan.. I am not good at talking to bank managers, I d rather Eat them for breakfast.

So, you ask two different questions. How do I start a Translating Business and then How do I write a business plan.To start a busines is simple. Get someone to pay you to do translation. Then from there you can hire people, incorporate, etc.The business plan is a basic services model.

it depends on where you are, what you are selling, to whom, and more...........plusyour experience and CASH projection can mean EITHER sales or gross profit ornet profit after taxes........ALL 3 are totally different things that a business deals withDAILY.

What do I need in order to start a t-shirt business? -

I need to know what I need (such as materials) and how I can sell my shirts effectively. Me and my friend made a lot of designs by now, all we need to know is how to make shirts. What is a good website to sell these shirts? thanks. :]

You actually don t need any materials whatsoever if you want to sell them online.Look into www.cafepress.com or www.zazzle.com.It costs you absolutely nothing to create an account, upload designs, and start selling shirts. You can mark them up as much as you want to make a profit.
