Really im getting into this, trying everything, ebay, contacting local businesses etc, can anybody suggest me something, or even link me up? Im in the UK

Best way to look for the big stores or better the manufacturer s / companies of those kind of chairs you want .. You have to go through as many as you can and try to cut a deal.. I could help you.. yet I m in USA.. so shipping charges will hurt you.. so The best option is to try and look for those kind of people and stores or companies and see.. You could try other schools, and see if they have unused, or extra chairs, etc... .. or if they are reselling some chairs after rennovations, etc..good luck and have a great day ..

How can i register a brand in my name.. i want to register the name of my brand so no one else uses it? -

To protect a business name within your industry, you would apply for a trademark.Trademarks can be names of products or services, logos, slogans, packaging and even sounds and smells. In essence, a trademark can be almost anything that is used to identify a particular product or service. Registering a trademark grants the owner exclusive rights to the mark within the specified industry. It s necessary to have comprehensive research on the mark done prior to filing to ensure that there is no possibility of infringing upon another party. This entails searches of the pending registered Federal and State trademark files as well as the US National Common-Law files. Then, if clear, you can decide if you would like to file for a Federal or a State trademark. To register a trademark, that s done either through your Secretary of State for a State trademark or the US Patent Trademark Office for a Federal trademark. If you are only conducting business in one state, then a State trademark is most appropriate. If you conduct (OR are planning to conduct) business in at least 2 states OR between the US any other country, you can file for a Federal trademark.Hope that helps! I wish you much success happiness in all your ventures!

consult any lawyer you know at your place.they ll direct you to someone in their own field who deals in trademarks and intellectual property rights.

Can I get some advice on how to pay internationally? -

Like the best methodsLike, do they accept any cheque? (Probably not.)

wherever you do, do not use ur debit card overseas. lots of fraud. me personally i prefer to use my credit cards of course they charged i believe 3% or 1% to use it over seas but is safer you dont use your cash and you are not exposing your cash. another way to do is getting travelers checks. this way if you loose them american express will replace them where ever you are at.

Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, Telegrafic Transfer.

If a company does not open a .com, how long before its legally up for grabs? -

It does depend on your intent. If you are doing this to sell the name to the company at higher than market price, or put up a web page that is derogatory to the company to force their hand, then you may be sued for cybersquatting.

It s becoming more and more popular for others to register domain names of new businesses (cybersquatting as stated below). All domain names are up for grabs at any time. So if you have a business name in mind, you should register your domain name right away, even if you don t plan on putting up a website any time soon. You can get a domain name for less than $10. It s well worth it.

You can buy any available .com domain at any time you want.

What are the requirements to work at best buy? -

Do I have to be a certain age to be able to work there?by the way this is my first job.

i guess customer service skills, they will give you the job. Do you speak Spanish? then you will get it right away. The requirements are pretty basic like smiling, being kind to people, be helpful. Just remember, be on time always and don t pay attention to nasty co-workers and specially if you get an asshol*e boss, just don t pay attention to him when he is in bad mood and turn around and say you need to go to the bathroom , don t take things personally. In two words, to conserve your job you must:1. Be kind to everyone and turn around and ignore the mean ones.(never respond)2. BE ON TIME ALWAYSthats it

Im starting my own personal training business and want to know whats better: sole or an LLC? -

Sole or LLC?

An LLC can protect your personal assets as long as you set it up and run it correctly. Consult an attorney with experience so you don t set yourself for failure. If you ever get sued, the opposing attorney will attempt to pierce the veil created by the LLC. If they can show that you are not setup or running your business according to the laws, your personal assets are fair game. NEVER mix your person and business bank accounts. I have mine at 2 different banks. I would suggest consulting your Secretary of State to see if they can make any suggestions based on your business type. The only time you will need the protection of an LLC, is when you get sued for more than your insurance will pay. Talk to your insurance agent about that. Talk to an attorney to get a contract that covers your butt against most frivolous claims. That way you can really only be sued for negligence or gross misconduct.GOOD LUCK to you.

I second both veronica and thompson above. Never run a business as a sole proprietor. There are nearly 50,000 lawsuits filed every day in the US and 1.2M practicing attorneys. And currently there are nearly 400,000 students in law school. We aren t becoming less litigious, we are becoming more litigous. I consult with clients every day about setting up LLC s. I am not an attorney, I am an entrepreneur who believes in capitalism and small business and our right to keep our wealth in the event of frivilous litigation. I offer clients a free 30 minute consultation to assist you with proper entity selection and formation. Let me know if you need assistance.

LLC, because it protects your personal assets from lawsuits.

How to get into a franchise? -

To open a business I would like to invest into a franchise, but I am not sure how to find out what franchise would work well in the area, and also do they really expect you to have that much cash? The reason you open a business is to make money.

You say The reason you open a business is to make money . Not to sound rude or anything but that s not the way it works. I can t tell you too much about a franchise but I can tell you that you have to have-Good CreditA good incomeLiquid assets(Some franchises require above $100K. Most require more)You have to know the business. IF you meet the above requirements, there are people over the franchise department that will evaluate you before letting you open the franchise. And there are more requirements than this. You say- The reason you open a business is to make money . Again, if you were to just lease an office or something, the leasing agent will want to see proof that you can afford the amount of the lease with what you already bring in.So if your lease is $3,000 per month, you have to be able to afford that NOT including what you make from the place you re wanting to lease.

Here are 5 key questions I would ask before getting involved in a franchise operation.1. What s my upfront cost going to be? This is the most obvious initial financial question. But immediate out-of-pocket costs are only one consideration in franchising. 2. What other fees should I plan on? You may be required to lease property or equipment from the franchisor. You may also have to pay the franchisor a percentage of your annual sales. Those numbers must be cranked into your own equations when you re trying to figure out if a franchise deal makes sense.3. How is the franchisor making money? Franchisors may make money by owning their own establishments, by providing services to franchisors, by simply collecting initial franchise fees from people like you or by some other combination. It s tough to make a blanket statement about whether one model is better than another, but surely you want to know where the franchisor s own interests lie.4. What restrictions do I have on suppliers? Are you going to be required to purchase certain goods or services from particular vendors and/or from the franchisor? If certain purchases are required, are they going to cost you more than you would otherwise have to pay if there were no restriction on where you could buy them?5. What kind of regional protection am I getting? Do you have any guarantees that the franchisor isn t going to sell other franchises or open up its own outlets in your geographic area? If so, how long are those guarantees good for?

With literally thousands of franchises in business today, you can quickly become mentally exhausted when researching which opportunity is the best. There is no best franchise out there that all franchise seekers should sign on for. Do you honestly believe that there is this line of people a mile long outside of Mcdonalds franchise development office? Of course not. How come? The answer is rather obvious. What is best for you may not be best for me. Maybe you love the idea of managing 10 or 20 employees and would thoroughly enjoy the pride and prestige of franchising for the worlds best known fast food brand. Someone else may have just been laid off after 20 years of service for a computer software company and now wants to pursue his dream of a franchise opportunity that is home based and requires zero employees. You see, it all depends on your unique values and interests. The product or service you offer should be secondary to the type of lifestyle your business will allow you and your specific role as a franchisee. That being said, however, there are several essential features to look for when evaluating any franchise business. Here are the top six:1. Stable industry. You need to be marketing something that will be profitable no matter the economy. One example is a disaster restoration franchise in which the franchisee organizes the clean-up process for businesses when fires or water damage occurs. As the franchisee, you are assured immediate payment by the insurance company to clean up the water damage or rebuild after a fire and those repairs need to happen immediately.2. A necessary, recession-resistant product or service. Choose something that consumers either dont have time to do/make or despise doing and, thus, would rather pay someone else for. Stay away from fads, as they are unpredictable and dont provide longevity.3. Market potential versus the competition. Its wise to choose a franchise that has little or no competition from other similar, established franchises. You wouldnt (and shouldnt) locate a Quiznos franchise within a block of two Subways that have been there for two years and are always crazy busy. Ideally, pick a franchise where your main competition comes from small mom and pop stores, which allow you to dominate and thrive. 4. The leader in its category. A major contributor to your potential success a franchisee is teaming with a franchise in which they are the undisputed leader.5. A dominant brand. Brand recognition is huge. Aamco = transmissions. Fantastic Sams = hair care. This is a major reason to franchise in the first place. 6. Growth Opportunities. Look for a franchise that encourages you to buy a 3-pack or a 5-pack. Or one that markets the rights to become an area developer or a master franchisee. These are strong indicators that the franchise is thriving and planning to expand and grow the business. There are plenty of franchise businesses out there that provide the above key components. The tricky job is identifying and finding them. Thats where an experienced franchise consultant with a vast inventory of various opportunities can be a valuable resource to you. I encourage you to call me for a free franchise discussion and together we can identify the best options for you and your situation.

there are innumerable franchise companies in the US(assuming this is where you are located) and all you need do is contact them to see what you need to dosometimes a local franchisee is selling his interest, you can sometimes buy one that wayI have a client interested in a local 7/11 which would be $200,000 to buy however it is not a really good locationfranchisers usually instruct you in their business, they want you to succeed too, and they charge you a fee each month on your sales, sometimes, depends on what the product is, all your purchases will be through themyou need to decide what franchise you are interested in and see how many in your area before you go too far

It takes work and money to open a franchise. Then you have to operate the business like they tell you.If you should make any money that s good. They make theirmoney no matter what.

What would you need to start your own funeral business? -

I think I would be good at it. Would I have to start as an apprentice somewhere?

Are you in America or the UK? If you are in the UK you have to go for something called a diploma in funeral directing. Usually people in the UK belong to the British Institute of Funeral Directors after receiving their diploma. Unfortunately, I don t know much more than that about the UK.If you are in the U.S. you will want to look into the American Board of Funeral Service Education. There you can look at accredited schools in funeral directing. Usually is is a 4 year mortuary science or funeral director type degree. Individual states also have their own licence requirements. Some require an associates degree, an apprentiship, and passing a board exam, while others want the four year and the board exam, so you will have to look into that as well. You are also obviously going to need a small business loan and remember that althought I think it is a decent job pay scale wise, it is not the highest. Even for those who own their own business, they can expect a max salary of about 60,000. Usually its more like 30,000-50,000 per year. Here s a great job description site: http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos011.htmGood luck!

A licensed mortician, a few contacts in the casket industry, lots of embalming fluid, a cosmetologist, a hurst or two, a business license, and much more. You should interview someone in the business to see what all is required.

you need to have good business plan to supply to any institution you re looking to get a business loan from. Without a plan, showing financial structure and planning it s going to be impossible to get a loan.

Hmmm. A freezer, a furnace, corpses, and most important a clothing pin to plugging the nose.Oh, and a shovel coming in handy too.

Because people are just dieing to get in. What better business to be in with the way the economy is today.

Lots of licenses. The handling of dead bodies is a highly regulated industry.

bodies

Dead people.

Lots of dead bodies.

Help! goals and objectives of a coffee shop ? -

Im doing a business plan for my class and need some suggestions on some goals nd objectives and how to put it all together in one paragraph. Here is my companies description Late Night Latte is an after hours coffee shop located on 1400 Central Avenue and Sycamore Street, a few blocks from the University of New Mexico. Hours of operation will be from 8 AM to 2 AM Monday through Saturday. On Sunday, the Coffee Shop will be open from 10 AM to 12 AM. The basic purpose of Late Night Latte is to attract people who are between the ages of 17 to 30 years, mostly students from the University of New Mexico and anyone who is a coffee lover. Also the cafe will give individuals the opportunity to hang out and enjoy a diverse selection of delicious lattes

Coffee is the second most traded commodity in the world, with oil being the first. Part of its success is due to the extremely high profit margin involved in the finished product. Your coffee shop should have this in mind, and strive to have a very low food cost versus selling price. A goal of around 12% is reasonable. So, if you sold a latte for $5, the cost of the coffee beans, syrup, milk, whipped cream, cup, lid, etc. should be at or below 60 cents--a very attainable figure.Based on your target audience (young adults) and your location (college town), it will be very important to your customers that your business is an ethically run, environmentally conscious enterprise. Getting your coffee beans through the Fair Trade co-op should be a bottom-line goal. Even better would be to purchase your coffee directly from one or more estates, at prices above what Fair Trade pays for similar coffee. This will have as much impact as buying exotic, expensive coffees (Kona, Blue Mountain, etc.) would, with a much lower cost to you and a much bigger benefit to the global coffee community. Also be sure to use post-consumer recycled paper products where practicable.Being an ethical business will not on its own be enough to attract customers away from chains such as Starbucks. Although large coffee chains are viewed with more criticism and disdain than locally-owned small businesses, the brand name and multiple locations offer them a considerable advantage. You will need to have a plan to differentiate your products to give customers extra incentive to seek your business out specifically. My recommendation: roast your beans in-store daily. No major coffee chain does this, and it produces dramatically better coffee! 75% of coffee s aromatic and flavor oils break down within the first week after it is roasted, so your coffee will be head and shoulders above your competitors. Plus, green (unroasted) coffee beans are considerably cheaper and store for much longer--saving you on costs and also allowing you to buy in larger quantities, reducing costs even further. As an added benefit, that freshly-roasted coffee smell can sometimes be smelled from blocks away, pulling in customers that didn t even know you were there! Not to go on too much about in-store roasting, but this also opens up another business opportunity for you--freshly roasted bulk coffee beans. People can enjoy better coffee at home, businesses can work with you to create their own unique signature blends, and your customers can specify which blends they want and have them roasted for whatever applications they desire: Espresso, French press, electric drip, etc.Done properly, a coffee shop is as close to a fail-proof business as you can get. I would advise against complicating the menu too much, however. Coffee sells itself and doesn t cost much if it needs to be thrown out. Once your coffee shop starts trying to be a restaurant, things become much more complicated and much less profitable. Some pastries and baked items are your safest bet to garner add-on sales from your customers.

How does selling for Avon work? -

Can someone just break it down for me? Do I have to pay something to start? Do I get free products? What happens if I can t sell anything? Would I have to pay for it?

Hi Athena,I have been with Avon almost 2 years now and i could answer all of your questions. Yes you do have to pay something when you sign up and just to let you know that you can now sign yourself up online if your interested I could also send you that information. You don t get free products but reps get to pay lower prices for the new products before they are even available to the customers. If for some reason you don t have any orders that s quite ok, even if you place an order for a .69 cent lip balm that will keep your account open. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

It costs $10 to start with Avon. They change promos every 2 weeks. You do have to buy supplies and brochures. They have a tiered commission program depending on what you sell. I researched Avon, Pampered Chef, and Tupperware and I ended up choosing Tupperware.

What licences/permits/registrations do i need to start a home based business, importing and selling apparel? -

I am currently planning to start up a small home based business importing wholesale apparel (clothing, shoes, sunnies, hats) ect. in Melbourne, Australia. Doing so as a sole trader under my own name.I plan on selling apparel only start with, on ebay etc. Then moving on to different products in areas. So im hoping this will be fairly simple to set up, as i already have the capital i need.I plan on getting an ABN (Australian Business Number) though im unsure on what licences/permits/registrations i am in need of getting before i do so, as i hear the penalties for not obtaining such licences can be quite severe.Any help would be of Great help to me, as i am quite new to this. Thanks!

For anything concerning imports/ exports and duties on the items, go to the source. Contact the Customs Service and ask for information. The business permits is probably handled by the State Government. Most likely the Treasury or the tax collectors (Inland Revenue?).My advice would be to see a professional in the legal field. Explain what you want to do and ask them to process the apporpriate paperwork. You might want to ask this question on the Australia Answers instead of the U.S. Answers section.

How can I seek recourse when a contractor refuses to pay what was agreed upon (I am a sub contractor)? -

If there s a contract signed, get what you can from him now, THEN sue him for the difference as breach of contract . You ll have a much harder time proving a breach if there is no signed contract.EDIT: Rip is correct, a mechanic s lien is another avenue to explore in legal options. http://www.cslb.ca.gov/consumers/legalisCheck your state s contractor s board for how to file one.

I am not sure about what state or where you are located but one thing is to file a lien on the property owner for the work you completed. This will put you in line for payment or the owner may be forced to pay you off for your work. But it all depends on what your laws state. You will need to keep copies of your proof of work completed. Hope this helps a little. Good luck

Depends on the contract and why he isn t paying. You should have an attorney review your contracts before signing them and consult an attorney on this issue. If you can t afford an attorney and are in US I may be able to help. Just email me.

Permits, license, etc for a 1 person online store? -

I want to sell hats online and am trying to figure out all the legal paperwork necessary to not get in trouble :)I am a college student in Santa Cruz, Ca and I want to create an online store to sell hats. Painted or knit hats. I am trying to find out what permits, zoning, licensing is necessary. I would be the only person involved in the business. I would sell them through the store and ship straight to the customer. I called the local zoning dept, but I think they are under the impression that this is a home business with employees and such.A friend told me if you make under x-amount of money, and pay taxes on sales, you don t need any permits or licenses for an online store.Any info (where to look, personal experience) is greatly appreciated.Happy Thanksgiving!

I am looking for some non mlm, non network marketing business, do you know of any? -

there are a lot of such businesses just make sure you dont fall in a scam.any business that promises that you will earn without working is a scamany business that promises that you will be a millionaire overnight is a scam.you have to WORK to be a millionaire.

99.99% of businesses fit your description. Open up your yellow pages, there should be thousands listed in there.

Your most creative get rich quick scheme? -

My cousin and I are always coming up with crazy ideas. We ve tried at least A MILLION ...everything from getting free stuff off craigslist and reselling it, to writing inmates in prison for 3 dollars a letter, to knitting blankets and selling them outside walmart, to cooking ribs outside a strip joint at 4 in the morning for all the hungry pervos... Lol, so what are some of the craziest ones you ve come up with? ( don t worry were not stealing ideas.....not really ;-)

wow, thats tight.... i dont know, rob a bank?

How can I start a instant refund tax business? -

I looked into franchise fees and they are ludicrous and I don t have the money. I want to be able to offer these services and was wondering if there is a company that offers the services for a much smaller investment?Anyone know of anyone?

Technically speaking, there is no such thing as instant refund . What actually happens is you are extending a LOAN of the anticipated refund to the people who use you to file their tax return. Then you get the return, instead of them, and if there s any differences, it is resolved then. So it should be called tax refund advance loan , not instant refund. IRS does NOT work instant .

I agree with the previous answer, so I think what you may want to do is start a tax preparation business, and offer that Instant service where it is feasible for you.You can check out this article: How to Start Your Own Tax Preparation Business at Home here - http://www.ehow.com/how_4796962_own-tax-Once you have the Tax Prep business, you may consider offering the Instant (loans) where it is profitable.Good luck!

Try Zip Refund as I do not think they charge any start up fees and they provide everything you need.

Do I still need to report taxes if the business hasnt opened yet? -

In other words, from the time I legally register the business to the time it takes to actually open for business, do I have to report earnings, taxes, etc., which, of course, will be zero?

in the UK the tax year runs April-March and you don t have to complete a tax return until you have completed a full tax year, and then it s not due in for some time after that, so you have plenty of time before you have to worry about this. But make sure you keep good records of all earnings and expenditure. It s worth having an accountant as things can get a bit messy otherwise. (I imagine you would want to declare your earnings (ie 0) in the period before officially opening, because the lower your income for the tax year, the less tax you pay, but of course the costs of setting up are tax deductible)

How can I generate an xtra income??? any ideas as far as selling clothing, jewelry, purses, ect? -

I m open to any ideas (PLEASE NO IGNORANT RESPONSES!)

here is a way to generate great income and get in great shape for $200 bux!Buy a used lawn mower for $75 and a used leaf blower for $40 and a used hedge trimmer for $40 invest $10 in gas and $10 in printing to put flyers all over your town and free adds in craigslist and kijiji and another $10 for a local paper advert and another $15 for some simple tools, screw drivers, wrenches, WD40, duct tape, zip ties, twine and a box cutter. now you are in the lawn care business.start out either doing lawns within push/walk distance until you get another $200 and buy an awesome Menard s trailer for $200 or start out small, buy a used lawn mower for $75 and a used trailer for $100 and $25 for advertising and then get to work!good luck!

I make an extra income working from home with a debt-free wellness company and I love it! This company has a bit everything you and I use in our homes every day...everything from housecleaning products to bath and body to health and wellness! You don t actually go sell the products, just simply refer others to the business/company. There s NO product selling, purchasing inventory, or going door to door. When you get started, you get a free website, free training, and ongoing support! This team is AMAZING to work with! This month there s an awesome promotion going on until the 23rd...only $1 to get started (normally $29)! If you d like more info, jot me an email and I ll get back with you so we can go over the details!

sell jewelry from this site, take a look at there images and prices. Then stick them on ebay and wait for the money to come rolling in. The jewelry they sell is heavy high quality that is in global demand.

Should I confront her or no? -

I am a trainer at a gym- I got 75 lbs off one of my clients her progress started to plateau @ 4 weeks ago so I implemented some new techniques made adjustments in her diet that should get things moving again EXCEPT she has not actually done any of the changes I ve asked her to make. Meanwhile in the last week 2 other customers have come up to me about her- one said Kerry was telling me how upset she is that no more weight is coming off the other said Kerry told me that its not moving... she s so mad I am pissed- 1st, I cannot discuss the details of her progress w/ anyone so I cannot make the point that she is not using any of my advice... I just feel like she s making me look bad! Ive built my clientele based on my good reputation- should I ask her what she s telling people why?

Common, talk to her. Ask her what s the matter, why she s telling people all those things she s been telling. Listen to her closely, take time to have her things sink in you, and then think of possible ways to resolve. Talk to her as calmly as possible. No problem won t be resolved when you re gonna talk it out..

Of course you should discuss this with her in a non-confrontational manner. Perhaps by saying that you have noticed that the changes you suggested are not working and seeing if other changes can or should be implemented. This will give her a chance to own up that she has not followed through on the regimen you laid out. If this doesn t work, then stronger methods may be necessary.

I think anyone with 1/2 a brain understands how weight loss works. You can not lose the weight for the person, only train them on the most effective ways to do it for themselves. If she truly blamed you, then why is she still with you? You may not be able to discuss her progress, or lack there of, with anyone but you can stress the fact to all members that your job is a trainer . Trainers train people on how to do things, and you do this with all your clients. Results will vary as you can not control what people then do with the training that is provided. If I win a gold metal in boxing, it does not insure that anyone or everyone I train will win one.I would use it to my advantage. There are many who think that trainers are not worth the money. Sure anyone who is extremely overweight will lose a lot of weight their first week. Most of it is liquid and coming from doing no exercise to doing it on a daily basis. It is week 2, and other plateau marks, where the trainer becomes worth their weight in gold. The average person will eat even less thinking they will lose more and then fail. It is your expertise that knows it is the complete opposite, and you actually want to eat more to lose more.

I wouldn t confront her about it, but it s definitely worth asking her point blank if she s implemented the changes and reminding her that while she s put in a lot of effort and seen a lot of change already that her continued success requires her continued dedication. A reminder that she s only going to get the most out of your help if she continues to put in the effort is certainly in order. She also needs to understand that she s made a lot of progress so stop and applaud her efforts so far, and remind her that sometimes plateaus are just another hurdle of weight loss and you need to work together to get through this. You don t have to be confrontational or lay blame to help her understand that it s her efforts that are stopping her from losing more weight at this point. Maybe your suggestions so far haven t been something she feels she can do, or she has a reason for not doing them (valid or invalid). As for the bad publicity she s giving you, I wouldn t worry. Keep reiterating with her (and all your other clients), that while you re there to provide all the guidance she wants, ultimately she s the one doing all the hard work and it s her efforts that will make this a success - and her lack of effort which could slow her down as well.

Business UK! Selling products online...? -

I want to start up a business that imports products from china and sells them online. I have already found a supplier and I am going to sell around 6 items on the site (max of 10). Instead of having a lot of products im decided to stick to a small amount of affordable everyday items to be sold to a mass market. I will have an online shop and open an ebay shop too.Could I do this business as a sole trader? What laws effect this business? Are there any laws or anything i should know about from importing goods from china to sell?

Hello CliffYou can run your business as a sole trader, which makes you personally liable for everything that happens in your company. It may be worth thinking about setting up a limited company. It doesn t cost a lot - under 100 - and gives you more protection. As Grandad Jim says, you need to notify HMRC within 3 months of setting up.Think carefully about the terms and conditions of your supplier in China. What s the minimum quantity they supply - usually it s a container load? How and when do you have to pay them - this affects your cashflow? What happens if there s any faulty merchandise? What s the order lead time? If you re running low on stocks, how quickly can you restock?Business Link is definitely worth talking to. They have a lot of free information on imports and exports and usually have an advisor who specialises in it. The UK Trade and Investment people are helpful, too.Good luck!Rosemary

well, if your laws are similar to the U.S., you ll need to:Register your business locally, so that the government knows who you are and where you are, even if you are working from home.Register your business with all levels of government for tax purposes.Prepare yourself for any possible zoning rules. If you are receiving shipments from a big truck every other day, your neighbors WILL eventually complain. You will have to pay duties and various other import taxes on the goods , for every shipment. In the U.S., this tarriff is quite low from china. Not sure why though. Everyone kisses china s a.s.s.Finally, you ll have to keep quite detailed records of inventory, sales, purchases, expenses,... the usual accounting stuff, and your taxes will be due every 90 days, not just yearly as it is with income taxes with a wage.Again, this is how it is in U.S., but i m sure it s similar there.

I import goods from Ireland. Firstly you have to register with Inland Revenue for tax and NI purposes. Where will you be storing your goods? You do need to think about that, I had a lockup backing on to rail lines and I lost some stock to rats. If you are using your home to run your business from, you may have to talk to the planning dep t.at your local council. You can get help from Business Link (www.businesslink.gov.uk) I have found them very helpfulHope this helps - good luck.

Net trade is legal , you wholesale products from China website in very low prices ,and resale to others peoples.many people do this business.

Its obvious why Levis were popular with the miners. But what makes Levis so popular with young people today? -

Do you like wear Levi s? Why or why not?

because they re cheap, and they go with anything.

Miners and young people don t wear the same style of jeans.Levi has a strong brand which can get them into a variety of different style stores. Having their jeans in the popular stores sells them. I think when a lot of people get into a store with a bunch of mixed labels, they are looking more at the style then they are the brand.

They last forever, comfort, can y say the price is what it used to be but the quality is good!

Can I use a name thats already been used? -

I want to use the name Dolly Girl for a clothing online store... but the name has been already used for an Anna Sui fragrance. Is it illegal to use it for my shop, or is it okay since its a different kind?

Generally, it s okay as it s a different type of merchandise, and there s little danger that people can t tell the difference between a fragrance vs. a clothing store. It s when you try to make stuff look-alike and in the same type of merchandise that things starts to get nasty.

This is a great way to be put out of business real fast. There was a very small pet supply company, ran owned by 2 women, who created pet toys. They named one of their chew toys Louie Chewton. The people at Louie Vaton were not amused and brought a law suit against them. The legal battle alone can run into the millions. Even if you win, you still lose unless you have very deep pockets.

the only way to know for sure is when you get your business lic

What are the benefits of hiring a bouncy castle to customers? -

It gives them an incentive to come in. Just make sure you have someone responsible to help with the children. Potential, with injury, law suit.

I bought something on eBay and i want to use my bank account to pay for it...? -

WILL I NEED TO GET A BANK STATEMENT TO KNOW WHAT TWO DEPOSITS PAYPAL DID OR DO THEY JUST TAKE OUT MONEY WITHOUT ME HAVING TO DO ANYTHING??? PLEASE HELP

In order to use a bank account with Paypal, it must be verified. Paypal verifies the bank account by depositing two small amounts into the bank account which are required later in the verification process. Check your bank statement online or through the mail. Once you receive your bank statement with the two amounts deposited by Paypal, enter the amounts into the verification form in your Paypal account to prove that you own the bank account. Once you have proved that you own the bank account, you can now pay people with Paypal using your bank account. You can also deposit money into your bank account if you receive funds through Paypal.Hope this helps.

The two small deposits are in your Paypal account and they do that to make sure the account is valid and it belongs to you. You can get the two amounts on the phone with the automated menu but it might be a couple of days to post to your bank account. It is only a few cents each one. You are just opening a Paypal account?

They take money out of your account without doing anything. Usually if your account is new they take out $1.00 out of your account to test if it exists then they put the $1.00 back into your account. When you purchase items off of eBay they will debit the money out of your bank account.

Whats the name of the document where the bank helps someone to monitor the accuracy of the cash flow forecast? -

they get this document every month

A bank statement.

Licensing in CPA in California? -

Okay so i know you have to have your exams all passed and the 150 units for pathway two in order to be licensed as well as an ethics class and and 1 year experience. My question is do we just have to have the 150 units completed to register for licenses or do we have to have those done before you pass all 4 exams?

You need them done before your application to take the exam can be processed

Starting an equine store. I NEED A SHOP NAME?? advice/suggestions/ideas/etc? -

Alright, i have decided to open an equine shop. I am going to be starting small, and then expanding when it picks up. I will be opening it near Jacksonville MD, which is close to Towson. There is already one small equine shop in the area where i am hoping to open it, but they dont offer anything western, and they dont have a very good selection. It is a heavily horse populated area. I do, however, need a name for the shop!! any ideas? i want something catchy, but nothing too...plain, you know? One equine shop in PA near where i used to live was called Puddle Duck Creek.....and i DONT want something like that.? it doesn t really have anything to do with horses... what are you suggestions? also, any other ideas/advice would be greatly appreciated!! thanks!!

I m not going to make suggestions, but give you a few things to think about when you choose a name. Don t rush the process and pick a bad name! 1. What do you want your business name to say about your business? Don t restrict it so much that you can t expand or diversify in the future. Once I talked to a woman who named her shop Linda s Candles. It was four years later and less than one-fourth of her store had candles in it! She regretted naming it that, but renaming a business is VERY expensive. 2. Pick a name that your customers will remember, but don t use other businesses names. Don t use Ponies R Us or anything. Don t get too cutesy! People need to take you serious. Remember you can get sued if you use another business name3. And finally think about what will happen when you use just the business initials (called acronyms ). Allie s Succulent Sweets is A_ _ -- you get the picture, I m sure4. The right name can give you a good logo, a good advertising slogan, etc. It can be more than just a sign hanging in a front window. Maybe a logo idea can spur a business name brainstorm a bit. Doodle, daydream, get your creative juices going.5. Consult EXPERTS! Contact the Small Business Admin. And get a mentor to help. Consider the answers you get here, but put them to the test before you grab one and call it yours!Good luck with your new business!

Can you open a post office in any building? -

I have a project in college and I m to be selecting a new service for a building committee and convincing them that it would help the people in the building. The new service I want to select for my project is opening a post office for all the different companies within that building. Can you tell me if you can open a post office anywhere? Or would it be more of a mailing service, where you would trust other people to take you important documents to be mailed out?I m unsure if this is even possible. Thank you so much for any input.(sorry posted the first time in the wrong place lol)

Private citizens don t open post offices - the U.S. Postal Service does. You might want to look into a franchise type operation like Mailboxes, Etc. for instance.

Postal annexes are permitted just about anywhere. They must be requested with the help/blessing of local or state govt. We have one in a local pharmacy, staffed by federal personnel.

How to find out how to charge for litiagtion work, what is fair,? -

If someone wants you to go out of state to figure out what was done wrong if any thing, got to be a rate chart some where,

I used to do occasional work like that in my past consulting practice,Orm129.Usually the fees are an hourly rate plus expenses. Chances are, you won t know exactly how long it will take you until you get there and start to actually assess the situation. Therefore an hourly rate is the fairest to all concerned.Don t forget to charge for any research you have to do as well. (You might reduce your hourly rate for research time - or maybe not - that s up to you.)I d also strongly recommend that you get a written agreement on your fees and a retainer upfront. (The amount of the retainer is usually credited toward your total fee.)Finally, if the case does end up in court, you ll likely be called to testify. Rates for testifying are half again to double your normal hourly rates.Good luck and I d be happy to hear how you make out.

MY OWN BUSINESS.....? -

UGH IS ANYBODY ELSE TIRED OF WORKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE...I WANT TO HAVE MY OWN BUSINESS BOTH ME AND MY HUSBAND WORK IN CONSTRUCTION I M AN ESTIMATOR AND HE S A CARPENTER. THE PROBLEM IS START UP I M LOOKING INTO ANYTHING FROM HAIR AND NAILS TO GET SOME CASH I M ALL FOR STARTING FROM THE BOTTOM AND WORKING MY WAY UP IN THE BUSINESS WORLD...ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHERE AND HOW TO START?

yes, you go to the library and ask the librarian to suggest a few books you can check out and read to assist you and your husband in starting up a small family company. you aren t going to learn from what people say you learn from studying what is done, how it gets done and how to go about it, in order.

Here are three companies that I have referred my clients and actually used myself. You only have to pay a fee if you get funded.http://www.borregospringsbank.com/sba_express.asphttp://www.superiorfg.com/main/Default2.aspxhttp://www.innovativebank.com/site/soho.html

I am 22 years old and need some extra cash...are there any LEGITIMATE WORK AT HOME websites? -

I have a full time job and I am in school also and working a part time job just seem out of the question... But I do need the extra cash...

You can join a business and your job is to apply yourself and do what they teach you to do. Do not spend money to join any such company. Many are FREE with NO cost to join and NO fees to pay ever! Your only cost factor would be advertising and getting a website hosted and domain name. Many legitimate online businesses will provide with all the tools you need for FREE. Even if you cannot make a website or blog, they create one for you because THEY only make MONEY when YOU make MONEY.Then you get duplication from a simple system for success to teach your people to duplicate what you were taught to do. Your job is to mentor your people or get them active with the training calls and support team as you guide them along.

If you are serious about making money with work at home you need to have this program. It worked for me and it is the only program that worked for me . It works fast and using right info will create you a long term income fast. You can find more info at link below.

I suggest you to try project payday, simply because you don t need any money up front and you can start making money within minutes. I average around 3,500 dollars every month with it. Check it out at http://tr.im/propaydayhttp://tr.im/propayday

Ppl do make money. Only you have to find good smart ways of dealing with things. Check this out: http://www.pcquickcare.com/showthread.php/5256-If-you-can-code-you-can-make-money?p=27260#post27260

How can i open my own business. prefer a franchise... what do i need to do.? -

One of the most important questions any first-time potential business owner asks me is whether to start their own new venture or to look at franchising. The answer has many components attached to it that need attention. Let s review some of those considerations.Starting up a new mom and pop type business is statistically very risky. Numerous studies have been conducted on this subject, and the general consensus indicates that 90-95% of new independents fail within two or three years. The steep learning curve that is involved can be a killer all by itself. The few who do succeed in this business model typically have an extremely high level of expertise in their product or service. They ve lived it all their lives. When it comes to franchising, however, much of the risk is reduced, or even eliminated. Although there are no guarantees, this business model is as close as you ll come to a guarantee of success. The same studies show that new franchise business startups rarely fail. The reason for this, quite simply, is because the often very long exercise of trial and error has already been done so many times that it s reached the inevitable point of trying and succeeding. The franchiser has made it through the learning curve and, along the way, has developed the success secrets for that business. Those who fail in franchising almost always were not committed to following the franchiser s systems. The main reason you buy a franchise is to minimize risk and to set yourself up for success. Traditionally, in a new startup, independent business, you are almost always operating from a shoot from the hip mentality, which can lead to failure. There is no past experience to draw upon, and it becomes challenging to control all aspects of the business. With a good, successful franchise model, you open yourself up to a deluge of information regarding all aspects of information, including financial assistance, site selection, and a wealth of knowledge from existing franchisees. Also, rapid growth is inevitable with the franchise model, which is only a good thing for a franchisee for many reasons, such as increased name/brand recognition and exposure to national advertising campaigns, which increase sales. Tremendous buying power because of constant expansion is also a major plus. Of course, the key is to follow the proven system of success, so your creativity can be somewhat lessened. In addition, you will have to pay a franchise fee and an ongoing royality, and your individual ability to make changes to the franchise is reduced dramatically. To summarize, franchising greatly reduces risk, enables you to follow a proven, successful system, and increases your chances of success in business exponentially.

How to make money at home free without any scams legitimately? -

You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies. You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job. These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as work at home because they would hear from too many unqualified people

There are a few ways. First, if you re a writer or can write, you can look up a few freelancer jobs, like oDesk.com or getafreelancer.com. A way to be sure to make money (albeit slowly, but legitimately) on ChaCha.com, which is a text answering service. They employ contract work to the people answering the texts, but only a few cents per question. Once you re used to the system, people can make between $2 to $7 an hour. A lot of people can make about $5 and hour. Supposedly, there are some who can make $9 an hour, but I have the suspicion they aren t going their jobs right, and would be penalized by ChaCha...anyways!I ve included a site that gives some ways to make money here: http://hubpages.com/hub/How-To-Make-MoneIt takes searching to find the ones that work for you, but when you find one, stick to it, and you ll be sure to make money. don t allow yourself to flitter between things - you won t make any money that way, and then you ll just get frustrated. Good luck!

Can an employee under probationary period qualify for unemployment if terminated? -

employee is under introductory or probationary employment. If terminated due to poor performance, can she claim unemployment?

Eligible check Although specific eligibility requirements vary from state to state, most states have the same basic standards for collecting unemployment benefits. They include:-You must be unemployed or working less than full time -You must meet certain income requirements -You must be ready, willing, and able to work -You must have involuntarily left your job In general, you won t be eligible for benefits if:-You quit your job simply because you didn t like it -You re fired for committing a crime (e.g., stealing) -You ve never worked before For more information, contact your state s local employment office. You can also look in the state government section of your phone book under Unemployment Insurance, Unemployment Compensation, Employment Insurance, or Employment Service. Or, you can try surfing the Internet using these same key terms.I d recommend you to go ahead and call your local unemployment office, and get a clear answer.

She was being paid to work, she was working. Yes, she can claim unemployment benefits. The benefits only cover a percentage of the average pay for the last 8 weeks. Probationary periods do not count against eligibility for unemployment. If it did, most new hires would be under the probationary period for 10 or 20 years. The only thing that probationary periods prevent qualifing for are the employers benefits package (insurance, 401k, etc).

If the employee has worked enough and earned enough to qualify and then depending upon whether the unemployment agency determines whether the firing qualifies as for cause or not, yes.

No. there is a period of time you need to make a certain amount before you get i and a certain amount of time. never need it my self o i don t know all the details. I know friends on it,

What are formal and informal networks to hairdressing salon? -

in addition, if you able to provide with some examples of each one. thanks in advance to your help

The formal networks are those based upon well defined relationships. That is people know how and why they interact. E.g. The boss and the salon workers, vendors and the office manager, etc. Informal networks or relationships are not based upon strong relationships, but rather informal relationships. Networks between and among the customers would be informal. Peer workers may form informal networks. Think of them as clicks Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Ebay/paypal help with sending an item ive sold? -

so i ve sold three items and i printed the shipping labels (from paypal) and i went to the post office and they wouldn t send them unless i payed for the postage and the box but i dont get it, i paid for the shipping label through paypal, what should i do? do i have to buy the box and postage? because i thought they were supposed to be free, help?

You are correct; done that several times, without any trouble. When they weigh items, they can charge excess, if it is warranted. Suggest you try another Post Office. You can claim back unused postage from Paypal; not sure about the time limit. Would be an idea to email Paypal about the problem.

What certificates and qualifications do I need to open a small shop and cafe? -

My partner is Polish and she and a friend want to open a shop selling Polish food with a small cafe serving homemade Polish food

First of all you don t say where you are, but the main points are.You need to find to right location and premises first. Then apply for Planning Permission with all the appropriate design plans. If you are selling food you will have to comply with all the Food Regulations, Health Safety, Hygiene and obtain certificates of competence from the Local Council. All your staff will have to hold certificates in training and food preparation. You must have a good grounding in food storage and refrigeration and chilling. You also need various licences for some types of food, especially if you are importing them. And that s before opening the door!

Assuming you re in the UK, contact your local Business Link for free help and advice on strating up.It depends on the type of premises that you take on whether you need planning permission for change of use.You ll need food hygiene certificates and to be in touch with your local Environmental Health people. (Make friends with them and they can help you a lot. Ignore them and they ll close you down in a heartbeat!) Business Link is very good on food hygiene. You ll also need business insurance. There are companies that specialise in insuring the catering industry. Business Link should have some names for you.Good luck!

Your local councils website will give you all that informationIt will probably include policies and certificates for - health and safety, food hygiene, public liability insurance and maybe more

Ebay question - has your ebay selling gone really quiet? -

i seem to get lots of watchers and then bids - the other day i was selling a dolls house had 21 watchers and only got the one bid - tonight i was selling something else with 6 watchers and ended with no bids this is happening all the time - why do people watch when they have no intention of buying - are people buying on the high street and not on ebay this year? by now the previous years my christmas rush would have begun - i m still waiiting.....whats your experience?

I think you need to realise that there are more than one reason for people to watch an item :-They may be a prospective buyer but there are more than one of the item for sale so they put them all on watch and see how the prices go.They may have a similar item that they want to sell so are getting a feel for the likely price they would get. They may have a similar item and are just interested to know what it is worth.Over the last few days i have had half a dozen mens watches on watch (no pun intended), they were all different but i would be happy with any of them. The first 2 went higher than i wanted to pay, the next went for more than it was worth, i bought the 4th.I dont think there is any switch from ebay buying to high street buying as such, but all retailers are competing hard for sales and there are some very good bargains in the high street. If Argos for the sake of argument is advertising mens electric shavers at 50% off, why would you buy a s/h one on ebay for say 40% of previous new cost when for just a few quid more you can get a new one with warranty from Argos? One thing that i have consistently noted in my 4 years on ebay is how poor many peoples listing are. when you think about it, ebay is a strange place, you bid on an item you have not seen, from a seller you will never meet, and YOU have to send your money away first - then cross your fingers. When i sell, i look at my item and think what would I want to know if i was wanting to buy one of these? What i would want to know is probably what a prospective buyer also wants to know so i make sure my listing is as informative as possible.

How do I make my bussiness popular? -

A friend and I have started Kush Minded Clothing Co. we are doing well, but want to figure out how to get more popular in different places.Check us out and let me know what you thinkwww.KushMinded.com

Well, you probably have to do a lot of offline marketing for clothing. If you re looking to make your website popular and draw traffic, then you have a lot of online marketing you ll need to do to attract trafficThat being said, your website could use some help because when I go there 1) I can t tell what the website is about or the company2) There is a lot of small print on the screen with lots of words 3) Your entry screen looks very similar to a pop up warning dialog box, which conditions the user to want to go awayI would make the print a lot easier to read (i.e. BIGGER) and put a more inviting image up instead of all the small centered print. Your logo needs a mission phrase of some sort. What do you guys do in five words or less? So that way the user knows what to expect when he/she gets to your site. Instead of your logo just saying KUSH Minded CLothing Co What I do like: great colors, very artsy-creative which is good for an edgier clothing company. Menu is easily seen on the top. Browsing is very fast and is slick. The words are easy to see, pictures are easy to see. I think if you just make the first screen really invite the user in then that will work wonders for you. Finally, somewhere (proably About Us) put a picture of people who work there to build relationships with the people who browse to your site. Good luck!http://designmyownwebsite.net

I used to run a concrete Business and i promise you getting someone to let you pour a permanent slab of concrete is very hard but it s possible so you definitely have to be very persistent NEVER give up and constant networking homie.

How much markup does a clothing retailer use? -

If you own or run a clothing shop, your answer would be really valuable. The clothing that I am selling retails at 45 per polo shirt, I am trying to get an idea of the price you would expect to be able to buy it at.If you could please let me know the size of your store and the minimum order you would expect to make if you were to buy that would be very kind. Thanks

Keystone is the retail markup usually about 120% meaning if bought at ten is retailed at twenty-two. by doing so even a fifty percent markdown makes money. Keystone means 100% over wholesale which is different in most all departments or specialty stores especially where wholesale is greater. In towels and tissues it s between 20 - 30% but clothing it s about 120% plus, I was a buyer for Bullock s Wilshire where I bought stuff for 35 and sold them for 105 with a fifty percent mark down I was making some big profits. Even worse is womens shoes where they buy a ten dollar sandal and sell them for eighty

I have owned and operated a small business, non clothing, but I believe, and hopefuly you will get conformation on this, but I belileve that the larger stores work on a 12 to 17% markup. An educated guess would be that they buy a $45 shirt for about $38. Hope this helps, and look for others in this exact business. Take care.

What are some stores essential to small towns? -

I m writing about a small town and I wanted to know what types of stores small towns usually have.

Walgreens/rite aid drugstoreBakeryVariety store (small mom and pop stores that carry a bit of everything)DinerLocal chain grocery store (Aldi s, piggly wigglys, HEB, Giant Eagle)Hardware storeBankLaundromatAs for specific names for these stores, they usually have names with the name of the town in them or the name of a person, like Bellevue Hardware, Mercer s grocery, May s diner, etc

The same stores every other town has. Banks, food stores, jewelry stores, laundromats, etc.

In Texas, they all have a Dairy Queen.

Can i fool a vending machine with two 5 cent pieces? -

You know a vending machine might be the only thing YOU might be able to fool. Think about it.

No.But you can fool people, a very good trick i came accross while at school is.. Wait until no one is arround then switch off or unplug the machine you want somthing from. The light will turn off but somtimes people just dont notice. They will stupidly put there money into the machine while its switched off, press the button for a drink or whatever they want. Nothing will happen. They will either leave it, Or go ask some one for help or there money back, as they go to find the person switch it back on. Then you can either press the button to get ur money back and you can have a free 1 or you can choose a drink of your choice :) Wont even need the two 5 cent peices. Just make sure you get it quick then leave. I did it once but everyone just left it when they lost there money, In the end like 6 people had done it, I walked over turned it on and all the drinks they had chosen fell out, was stocked up for the rest of the week :) for free! Diffrent machines work diffrently, Just figure out how they work and you wont need to pay again.

If you put two nickels into a vending machine, it will credit you with ten cents. That s not fooling it in any way. What do you think is going to happen? Do you think it will somehow think the nickels are quarters, or dollars? That s not going to happen. The machines can tell one type of coin from another.

You could try, but I doubt it would work. Also I would be careful with trying to rock the machine - more people are killed by falling vending machines than sharks each year.

no, cuz each coin has a specific type n size that will fitr in another small box (inside-the-machine)..but keep tryinh maybe it happens...

Only if they weigh exactly the same as the coin you want to replace .

If your really stealthy!!!Tie it with a string and swiftly pull it back~~Hehe

no unfortunatley..i tried that once..an alarm went off.haha

NO.

no.

just rock it back and forth.. you get more candy.

nooope lo i tried that a lot

of course u can!!!!! duh?

Can anyone tell me what this actually means. (Business, wholesale)? -

HelloI m thinking of starting a small business. I m currently looking to buy products and found a few legit english wholesalers which have good wholesale prices. I m wanting to know if the 15% VAT is included in the prices and it says: All our offers are not-binding. All prices are net prices, value added tax and carriage costs are added in final invoicing. Im not sure what this actually means. I took business in school but it was a good few years back. Can anyone explain who know quite a bit about business what this actually means. On the wholesale website the prices are next to the product and i click add to chart and just like any other sales website it just adds it all into a basket then you check out but i have a limit to spend and don t want to go over therefore i d like to be careful and need to know if the VAT is included. Hope you don t mind helping and thank you very much! (:Ste.

Wholesale prices don t usually include VAT. This because they are selling to businesses ( who are vatable). To a wholesaler and the retailer VAT is irrelevant--it is only a concern to the customer as he/she is the one who pays for it. Carriage is also priced seperately as the retailer needs to know the pure cost of the product.

When buying wholesale the prices shown are usually before VAT. So, whatever you add to your basket needs 15% VAT added to it, plus the carriage charge. Carriage is probably added to the total of your goods and then VAT applied to the whole lot. If you buy 92 worth of goods and there s an 8 carriage fee, you ll have a net total of 100, which will come to 115 once the VAT is added.

hey man i don t quite understand that, i think that s a chinese website, im a chinese too, and i am about to graduate from school, im thinking of start my small business too, you can visit my site, i just built it,anyway i think i can help you in some way, if you do interseted in it, you can talk to me for more information, im sincere.

you are being priced on the product, the vat and carriage are added at the end, value added tax it the vat, and carriage is the transportation cost.

it means they are still going to slap on 15%VAT and charge you for post, packaging and delivery on top of the price they have quoted you for the product.

This question is very basic. If you don t know the answer then you need to seek some urgent advice and assistance, because if you attempt to trade on your own you will most likely struggle to make a profit.Value added tax = VAT.All businesses, when selling to other businesses, will quote prices excluding VAT because the vast majority of businesses are VAT registered so can claim back the VAT they pay. But, VAT has to be charged on every sale, so you need to remember that VAT will be added on to every price you see. VAT is currently 15%, but for any orders place after 31st December it will go back up to 17.5% All offers are non-binding means that they are reserving the right to change their price at any time. All prices are net prices means that it is the cost of the item only. Anything else, such as VAT or delivery will be added later. value added tax and carriage costs are added in final invoicing. This means that these costs will be added on when a final invoice total is calculated. Note that any carriage (delivery) cost quoted will almost certainly be excluding VAT as well. But if you order online these costs will be added up and shown before you have to give them your payment details.Btw, to get the best prices you almost certainly will need to find suppliers that do not advertise and allow purchase via websites. These are quasi-retailers and while they might look cheap, once you have added VAT and other costs they probably won t be much less than shop prices. Also, you need to buy in large quantities, because you get more discounts the more you buy and the delivery costs will (when calculated per item) be lower the more you buy.

How to start hotel business? -

Enter more detail here (Optional)

Start by learning the real estate market in your area. Go out and check out places that are for sale. Look at hotels...when you see a educated deal...then you can act...knowing the bank will see it as a deal also..this helps you getting by with a low down payment. So, in summary, really become an expert of the market when it comes to sales prices on hotels..know what you will get for a certain price..sometimes the worst building..in the best area..can lead to a fix up job via some construction..if you can hire contractors to improve the topic place...and make money off of the contrators..is the key...Sometimes, in the United States people can often make 20-30% off the construction of hotels, etc. ( They know the market..what kinda improvements make the most money..like changing fixtures ( Light/water.) etc.

I raised a little over $1,000 on a Saturday in a small town. I hope this helps. Good Luck! Sincerely,Tammy Bartlett

The actual reason why some offices choose not to save energy at work? -

So a lot of office buildings leave their lights/computers on overnight/weekends, and there are a lot of possible reasons that people can easily come up with. But for any of you who are actually in charge of these kinds of things at work, or know the actual reasons why... Why?ps. If there s someone out there who works in an office building who wouldn t mind answering some questions regarding this through email or the like, please let me know. I would greatly appreciate this =) It would help so much!

Imagine walking through the city with only the street lights illuminating the roads? The city would be a dark and scary place. The cities leave their lights on to give a welcoming feeling to visitors and tourists. I agree though, some buildings seem to have every light on, just for the heck of it.In Australia, buildings are required to turn off lights that are not security risks or have no other purpose, during night hours.I suppose tall buildings leave their upper floors lit because small planes and helicopters might fly into them, not seeing the building. Some buildings use the upper floors as apartments, Penthouse Suites. Many buildings are being converted into apartments whereas previously, they were offices, and tenants are the culprits.

Almost everyone is going to say security purposes, so if someone breaks in, they can see them better on camera.

I fee like my boss is trying to get me fired at work. Can anyone offer assistance? -

If you are in the US, employment is usually on a at-will status, which means that your boss can ask you to leave for ANY reason ( except race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc ).You are also allowed to terminate your employment for ANY reason as well. So, if your boss really wanted to get you out, they would have done it by now.Have a long and candid talk with him/her, and ask if you can get tips from him/her to do your job better. Be open to learning and putting effort into your job, and you should be OK.Of course, if you hate your job, then start looking around.

I m going through the same thing and there is more than one boss on my job that I feel is trying to get me fired.I am a good worker and I think one reason they want to get rid of me is so they don t have to give me more raises and so they can replace me with a few teenage employees for less pay. Plus the bosses have it out for me for some reason. I feel like they have been starting petty things and causing problems so they can build up some negative feedback against me just in case if they do fire me, it would look like they would have valid reasons for doing so so I won t get unemployment from them. In my state you can get fired and receive unemployment just as long the reason you re fired is not your fault. I have been searching aggressively for another job to replace my current one, but I only booked a 2nd seasonal temporary job. I have been at this place for 3 years and I feel I shouldn t take their mess for the little money I get. It will be a blessing if I can get another job somewhere else. Have you thought about looking for another job?

If you like your job talk openly, but in private with your boss. Tell him you like your job but you feel he has some disapproval towards you. Let him explain is that true. His answer will clearly show his attitude towards you. I hope you are wrong in your suspicion and your manager simply had a hard week. But if you are right then negotiate with him good reference and leave package. Do not be afraid to speak honestly with your manager. Most managers respect the honest and direct approach.

Thinking of starting an online store. What should I sell? -

I am thinking of opening an online store so that I can stay home with my children but also make money. But I m not quite sure what to sell. I am pregnant so obviously I am interested in all things having to do with pregnancy, babies, etc. Does anyone have any ideas for me? What kinds of things would you search for/buy online? Any ideas would help. Please no stupid/mean answers.

I know of a lot of people that sell hair bows on etsy and ebay. Hair bows are popular for babies and cheap and easy to make so you won t need a lot of training and the start up cost will be fairly low. They are also trendy with girls and women right now (ages 0-25) so right now is a prime time to sell them. All you really need are hair clips (which you can buy in bulk), hot glue and ribbon. You can make hair bows for dogs, too, but those are usually attached to a rubber band instead of a clip. Some people attach the baby bows to stretchy head bands so even babies can wear them. There are many different designs you can make and one spool of ribbon will make many bows. I have included some links to various etsy stores that sell bows so you can see some styles.http://www.etsy.com/shop/bambalinasCreathttp://www.etsy.com/shop/alibugbows?ga_sThis store has all sorts of funny shaped bows, like turkeys for Thanksgiving http://www.etsy.com/shop/pretties4princeOlder girls often like the flat style bows that this shop offers: http://www.etsy.com/shop/AvysBoutiqueJust run a search for hair bows on google or etsy to find more. You can always expand your business to sell other things, like baby bibs or clothes.

Dear Galaxie,As strange as it sounds, it will really come down to the amount of money and time you can dedicate to online marketing. A good website that has the shopping cart option and is encrypted security so you can accept all different kinds of payment will be most important. Then marketing your site online so everyone can find you and buy whatever baby items you decide on. You also will need to find a vendor that is willing to discount product for you to sell on your site. You might even be able to talk them into drop shipping the items for you. To your Success,Fernando

name brand kids clothes.... I buy them all the time on ebay and craigslist

Assemble from home jobs? -

do u know of any sites that require you to assemble products at home that are legit and have a telephone number?

I don t know of any that are legit. A legit one wouldn t really be advertising online, because there would be more people wanting the job than there would be jobs available. If they actually were advertising the job they would have very strict criteria for the people they hire.

What about online jobs and tell real paying companies in online? -

i saw the more companies but i am not receiving amount , please tell me real paying companies in online

There is none out there.
