That s one thing I ve always had an interest in doing. There just aren t enough hobby stores anywhere, no matter where you live. I ve lived from Seattle to South Florida. I m very much into larger rc helicopters (Raptor 50 and larger). I wish you the best on your venture! Maid service only does the common areas and fixes things up, No not only the wealthy does this but they can be pricey. Apartments complexes can hire your maid services to clean apartments that are vacant and new tenants will move in. Those maid services will have to clean a lot more than a regular live in household. Cleaning services like kevin explain can be used for both, there is a border line between cleaning services and maid services. I think you would get less than 10 cents on the original paid dollar if you sold it on Ebay.You will NOT get $750 for all that......

One year ago your $750 price would have been too low. With the bad economy, most sellers are surprised by the low number of buyers. Hardly anyone calls to buy stuff. You may have to start at $750 but be willing to lower the price to $400 after one week. If you are not prepared to sell it for that price, you will have to save up to buy your dream machine.

No. If you do not have any employees, you do not need a state EIN. If you are not collecting sales tax, then you will not need a vendor s permit.

Well I know not to google random things, go to the small business administration, nor am I 18. What I do know if I opened my first ladies apparel store on 7-7-07 and just opened number 48 last week. I would have never been able to do it with a lot of help from others (so I try to pay it back by helping others). Taxes are not that bad so do not let them scare you. Finding product is also very easy. For the most part, the only VERY difficult thing will be, how do you compete with Wal-Mart selling almost the same thing for 80% less. You can send me a message I will be glad to help with anything I can from setting up a website, to getting space for less then the asking price per foot, store set up, creating your own bar code system and scanners for easy check out, I have done it all.But for your question... Things have brand names on them, from toasters to candy to ladies clothes. You get the manufactures name and then contact the company. They will not talk to you until you are a legitimate business with a license and everything so you must do that first. They will put you in touch with their rep for the area of the country you are in. The rep will supply you with books on their products, prices, and many times to a mock showroom of an actual store. All your orders will go through them. It is true that many big names will not do business with you unless you are selling like items, or make X amount of sales per month, so start smaller.This will get you started but it will still be rough with Wal-Mart prices always looming over your head. Do not do this for long (a year at max) until you make your first trip to china and set up a direct supplier/manufacture.

Just be careful you aren t buying that fake replica stuff(if it comes from China, it s fake). Actually many clothing companies i.e. Abercrombie, etc. won t distribute the clothes to sell. And some won t even franchise due to the fact of people selling replica items.

I was involved with an school organization that I designed a site for. I own the domain and I ve been asked to close it. Could I put whatever I want on the site since it is my domain?

Since you own the domain you are free to use the domain as you deem fit, provided the school organization didn t reimburse you for the domain. That being said you cannot use the content you specifically did for the school organization and it might be smart to put some sort of disclaimer regarding your past association with the school organization.
