Hi, i recently started selling a lot of my old stuff on ebay and it s quite fun. I ve always been really interested in starting a business on ebay or an online business. I have quite a bit of capital right now that i could start something like this so i feel like i have a head start on most people. I recently started looking at some places like ali baba and dh gate, these places are chinese places that sell wholesale items or knock offs. After doing some research this seemed like a bad idea to me because even though they are cheap people do not like them and it is illegal. So now i am stuck and do not know what to sell. I can sell anything so if you guys can help me out with some ideas or books or links with this that would be awesome. Thanks.

Neither wholesale outfit your mentioned sells any illegal items and are reputable firms. Buying wholesale from imported stocks is done everyday, and has been since man began trading the silk road . Sell what interests you - and become an expert in that discipline.

Please don t say babysitting or walking dogs. (because I am the only one who has dogs in the neighborhood) I tried to help on farms but where I live there isn t many farms to help out with. It depends on where you live, but maybe you could run errands for your neighbors, or help them with yard work or house work. You could also get their mail and newspaper and water their plants when they go out of town. You say you don t want to babysit, but sometimes mothers will pay you to play with their children while they get things done around the house.

If my magazine was to run a writing competition for poetry and short stories, what legislation applies? -

We would charge a small entry fee of ��3 - ��5 and there would be a cash prize (��50 - ��100) and publication in the magazine. I have looked at the Gambling Act 2005 and it seems that because it is a skilled competition (i.e. not just a phone in type thing) we would not need a licence, but is there anything else we would need?
