Can you please give me some interview tips. What are the possible quetions and what are the good answers.? -

please give me an example that an interviewee may ask me in a hotel

ok.. this is the basic / common tips .. for a hotel or for any company/ store/ business/ job you are applying for..If the position you are applying for requires quite a bit of research (i.e. junior, middle and senior management positions) being knowledgeable about a company shows that you are proactive and committed about working for them. Possessing this type of knowledge prior to interview will also make you feel more confident.Visit the company / Hotel website Keep a copy of the job advert - it tells you a lot - and enables you to build your questions on the position itself Request a copy of the company brochure/annual report and any other relevant information pertaining to the job and company (i.e. promotional material) Check on any past news articles (found in libraries or on the internet) Keep an eye on the current news for any relevant articles General Research Check ListWhat does this company do What services do they offer / What do they sell When was it started and by whom Experience of Hierarchy Location (s) Turnover and trading history Staff size Who are their customers Structured Career Programme How secure are the employees Working Environment It is very important to give out the right signals during the interview - therefore we suggest:Smile on entrance and make eye contact with all present in the room - and maintain lots of eye contact throughout the interview Give a firm handshake, this shows you are confident Wait to be offered a seat - do not sit down without being offered to and then wait for your interviewer(s) to sit first If you are offered a drink and you want one - it is advisable to accept water - it helps if you dry up and is less messy than tea or coffee (accidents can happen in nervous situations) Look and sound enthusiastic Look attentive and alert - don t slouch or fidget Maintain an open upright stance, lean forward slightly and try not to look too defensive as this will betray your nerves Speak clearly and loudly enough so that all in the room will hear Take your time in answering questions and think before answering questions Listen, try not to get distracted or talk too much Do not get to close to the interviewer(s) or invade their personal space Do not scratch you ears or cover your mouth with your hands or fingers - Common Question asked by Interviewer sWhen preparing and answering remember:Try to think of examples that illustrate where your abilities and skills match their requirements Keep your answers as relevant as possible to questions and relevant to the position you are applying for If you have come to the end of your answer after a particular question but you feel the interviewer is still not satisfied with the answer ask them do you want me to expand on this - and if so which area in particular Always be honest! Tell me about yourself Give a short summary of your qualifications, career history and skills. What do you enjoy about your current job? Focus on things that are relevant to the job that you are applying for. Pick out things that demonstrate a diverse range of skills and interests. Explain your current role and duties Explain how you fit into your department and what your reporting lines are. Talk about how you interact with others in the department and your key responsibilities. What has been your main achievement in your current role? Think about projects you have been involved in, the results and the impact they had on the company. Bring proof of any of your achievements to the interview. Do not show any of your current employers confidential company information. What are your strengths? Think about three or four of your main strengths, try to focus on skills that are relevant to the new company. Good examples are communication, social, sales, IT (if required), flexibility, positive attitude and interpersonal skills. What are your weaknesses? This can be a difficult question to answer. We all have weaknesses (and remember it is a strength to admit your weakness). Try to think of a positive way to present a weakness, eg. explain how you have overcome it and think of an example to back this up. Have you ever come across a difficult situation at work and how did you handle it? Have you ever come across a difficult situation at work and how did you handle it? Why do you want this job? Pick out the positive aspects of the job you are applying for. Try to avoid mentioning things like more money or shorter hours. Do not mention negative aspects of your current post but you can include factors such as wanting a new challenge or more responsibility. You can perhaps emphasis their image and their growth strategy - and explain that you want to be part of that. What interests you about this company? Your research into the company will be paramount to answering this question. Mentioning facts such as their products/services, sal

What is a good, legit home startup business? -

I would like to start a lucrative business from home. I have wracked my brain for a year, just nothing comes to mind. My main skills are: graphic designer (degreed), I am a wildlife artist, photographer, and work as a website design consultant. I am very good at logos, but it just seems all my skill sets are in a flooded market. I would love to do something different, and not join a pyramid scheme. I just want to find a good, honest job I can do that I can put sweat equity into. I went through a divorce and not in a great financial position. :( I am quite creative in the arts, but am very happy to go outside of my skills. My strengths, people skills, very computer savvy, fun person. Weaknesses, to be completely honest, organization. :o)

As a professional coach I m going out on a limb to tell you you re approaching this from the wrong perspective I m afraid. It s kind of like choosing a career just because it pays well. Do you want to enjoy what you do 1, 5 or 20 years from now?You re correct in looking at the skills you have but that in itself isn t enough. Just because you can drive a car doesn t mean you should be a bus driver. The areas you need to combine if you want to do something you love are:1) skills and abilities, 2) personality traits, 3) values, dreams and passions.

I was the same way trying to figure out how I could make money. I think your in a better situation. You have so much talent. The way I make money is by doing niche websites. Websites on things that has something to do with my passion. I found SBI and they taught me everything I needed to know about the business of websites. They supply you with the knowledge and tools to make money. You will make money off of it, if you do what they say. A lot of people think that you can just put a site up and your good. It does take work, but you get what you pay for. It is no get rich quick scheme. SBI was a dream come true. The only thing that I hate about it was the lack of templates, but they are working on that. With your background, it will be a breeze. You do have to put in some work as far as writing content, but it will all pay off. Its totally your business. My website is one month old. I put a ton of work into it.Check out my website. http://www.avon-representatives.com/legitimateworkfromhome.html read my true story if you want or skip it and go straight down to the SBI link. P.S. There is a money back guarantee on it.

Im concerned about my pay-packed from where i work. ? -

Some of us work in different locations in a job but as for me i work in a supermarket, though when i went to look at my pay packed its got that amount you earn in a week plus the amount of hours you done but if i were to add up the total every week until i got up to 1 year , does that mean it would bring me to the total i earned in a year ?

No. it would bring you to the total that you were paid in the year. What you are paid and what you earn are not necessarily the same.

In with your wage packet you will have a wage slip that shows your gross pay. The gross pay is the amount you earned that week before any deductions such as tax or national insurance. If you add up all the gross pay for each week then that will give you the amount earned for the year. Your wage slip may also have a section that says earnings to date , so that would tell you exactly what you have earned in the current tax year. Remember that the official tax year starts on 5th April. At the end of each tax year you will receive a P60 which is the official confirmation of what has been paid to you in that tax year.

That s the whole year to date thingAlso WTF is a pay-packed ?
