Does anybody know where i can sign up to be a phonesex agent? -
What do you think of this idea? -
like you say its an ideaBefore you go into any business it is wise to write up a valid Business Plan, which will include:-who are my competitors, what is my unique selling point, where will I source stock, where will I store the stock, what are my other overheads, how will my website be found eg will you use SEOThen, and only then should you proceed,as success is always in the planning, believe me
It s a great idea, especially if they are prices for people on a tight budget like yourself. I am on a tight budget myself as i don t get much income coming in and would like to be able to treat someone for the amount we can afford.
Hi,I am in the process of moving from a freelance web developer to a partnership. If we can be of any assistance with building a site feel free to let me know.MSN: support@hostitlocal.co.uk
Dont make an independent webpage. Go to sites like http://etsy.com and sell your products through them. It will help you concentrate on the product more as they will help out in all other matters including web page designing, seo, payments etc.
How to let the customers know which of my store he bought from? -
When I sell something from one of my stores, I include a card with their order saying which store they got the product from. The card is printed with all the names of 3 of my stores and what type of goods are sold in each, each store name has a box next to it and I make a check mark in the box in bright red ink showing which one they bought from. The card also has a message thanking them and asking them to keep the card for at least 30 days in case they have any problem so they can easily contact us to help solve the problem. That way they know where their money went and are able to check out the other 2 to see of there is something in them they might be interested in. Have gotten some really good feedback from customers by doing that as it is easy and they don t get confused.
When they purchase the item the confirmation email should state which store it was bought from. There should also be a seperate barcode numbering system for each site or something in your website software (algorithm) that defines and assigns the data to a specific website. The database will then send the confirmation email with the correct store named. As long as your policies are listed on each website legally your ok. BUT in BOLD somewhere where all can see on EACH website you should list all the websites and state that EACH WEBSITE HAS A DIFFERENT POLICY SO PLEASE READ. That might help angry customers calm down or limit them.Easy answer? Just make a universal policy thats cohesive to all your sites needs. When someone SUBMITS the order for transmission a popup should cover the screen and explain that:THIS SITE HAS 4 OTHER SISTER SITES. THEY ALL HAVE DIFFERENT POLICIES. PLEASE REVIEW THE POLICY FOR THIS SITE. CLICK HERE TO COMPLETE TRANSACTION OR CLICK HERE TO COMPLETE TRANSACTION AND HAVE THE POLICY FOR THIS SITE EMAILED TO YOU.Good luck..
How can I check out an online business before placing an order? -
Sort Floor Books (sortfloorbooks.com) is located at 763 Quequechan Street in Fall River, MA 02721 (telephone 508-675-5287).Here is what the Better Business Bureau has to say about Sort Floor Books:http://www.bbb.org/boston/business-revieChecking Google (entering sortfloorbooks.com in the search window) produces a multitude of results and I could only find a couple of negative statements about them among the hundreds of entries, and both referred to being unable to complete and submit the order form (which may, or may not, be user error).Judging from the number of sites that refer customers to sortfloorbooks.com, they are probably a trustworthy source for discount books.Check out the google files (entering sortfloorbooks.com in the search window) for yourself and draw your own conclusion. If it were me, based on what I ve discovered in researching your question, I would order from softfloorbooks.com.
go to googletype in the company name and scam after it and see if any negative comments come back on that businessor just google the business name - maybe someone has posted reviews in a forum somewhereyou could always try Amazon.com - or any other better known book company and see if they have the same book if you are looking for a specific title

What consumer laws make contracts enforcable? -
The answer will vary from state to state. You need to see an attorney in your state to get an answer specific to your situation. Without knowing what state you are in, I do not know if I am licensed to practice there so this is NOT legal advise, just a general answer to a question about contract law. You mentioned a contractor so the work may involve work on land (real property). That could involve something called the statute of frauds (which has nothing to do with fraud) which says that a contract must be in writing to be enforced generally. There are exceptions but if you did not get a written contract for the additional work he claims he did, he could be out of luck. Again, talk to a lawyer in your state to be sure. Since you did not mention getting a written contract to begin with though, I am concerned you may not have a written contract. In that instance, it is your word against his and up to a judge or jury to decide what the real agreement was. There is no need to waste time argung or debating with him on the phone and it will only frustrate you. If you do not want to pay him, tell him you do not intend to pay and suggest that he file a suit if he wishes and you can both discuss it in court. You feel he is trying to take advantage of you and did unauthorized or unnecessary work. He feels you are trying to avoid paying for necessary work. Those are not easy positions to reconcile and that is what the court system is for. There are alternatives like mediation, arbitration and such but the absolute worst thing you can do is continue to be troubled about it or continue to engage in arguments. That is not helpful for either of you. Depending on your state, he cannot come back and undo the work in most states I know about. As for stoppping him from calling, nothing will do that unless he is truly harassing and then you need to report it to the police. But from experience I can tell you that those types of action will probably egg him on more than if you just ignore him, hang up on him or otherwise do not engage with him. The argument that he is harassing you by telephone will open a whole new can of worms and involve a lot more people and none of it will be a good thing. The contractor wants drama and wants to annoy you so filing a complaint with the police will just feed his ego most of the time. Ignore him and tell him to take it to court and you can both discuss it there.
