Name an unsuccessful business? -

i need to know the name of an unsuccessful business please. as well as the name of the entrepreneur and what the owner did that made the business fail.maybe if i could get a contact or somethingit is for a research paper.thank yuo so much in advance

Check out the history of AOL. They merged with Time-Warner back in Jan 2000 and the combined companies were worth $360 Billion. The combined companies have lost 80% of their stock value since the merger and have become the prime example of how not to merge companies.Time Warner is now selling off AOL for a huge loss. The sale should be complete before the end of this year so there is plenty of info available right now.AOL was started by Steve Case who became one of the youngest billionaires of all time when the two companies merged. I don t think you will have any luck getting a interview but he is definitely an entrepreneur who has failed since he ended up resigning from the board of directors of AOL-Time Warner in July 2005. Keep in mind that he still ended up a billionaire!

You need to go back to whatever website you ordered the books from and contact the company. They have to respond to you. If not, you have to contact the credit card company, bank or whatever you re using. I don t know what country you re in, so I don t know the laws.It sounds as if you got signed up for some kind of subscription or something. But definitely look into it! We can t help you, you must help yourself. Good luck!

I am looking for a work at home job that is NOT a SCAM. I have a little money to help me get started. Anyone? -

I am a stay at home mom of five and need more income. I have been searching for a at home job that is not a scam for a while now and the only thing that i found was the google thing. There are so many people that are doing that I don t see how you can actually make any cash. I dont want to sell anything. Please help me!!!

The google thing is a scam too. If you are paying to work it is a scam. You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies. You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job. These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as work at home because they would hear from too many unqualified people

Anytime a work at home job offer requires that you pay them money for upfront costs, ie processing, training, materials, it s a very big red flag indicating the job is not legitimate. You should never have to pay to work for a company. Any legitimate company will conduct normal interviews and applicant screening. If they don t, it s another indication it s probably not legit and you won t get what you paid for. The best option is to find a local job in your area and see if you can work from home with that company.

Opening a restaurant being young? -

Well, I got a few questions, actually I m 18, and I started studying at the university, but I want to leave Spain to go to the US, and my dream was always to got my own restaurant, and I d been seeking some information about how to open it up, and there s no money to afford it, so I heard that if you present a Business Plan to the bank, and they accept it, they d give you the amount of money to start your business. Another point is that my parents are persian, so I know about the culture and meals and so, but I wanted to know, which do you think would be a better idea, italian restaurant or persian, and do you think i can achieve what I want being so young? Thank you.Hesam

While you can do this to a degree, a business plan is far more complex than you may imagine involving accurate estimates of costs, and a marketing plan as well as the investors an their percentage of ownership as well as their specific investments. right now banks a loads of under performing small business loans and you would need to show both an educational background and the practical experience needed to make a go of such a venture. I do think working in the field is absolutely needed. This is a 18-20 hours a day business for a the owner. The failure rate is 57-61% in the first three years. This is a high risk low return opportunity for the bank unless it is a franchise which eliminates some of the risks. In every case you will have to have investment funds - some skin in the game so to speak to get to first base with any lender.

Sorry Dear, but no bank is just going to give you money to open a business. You have no experience, no equity and would be a poor risk. You need to gain experience in the catering and business trade for a few years.

I think you d be better off getting a job at a restaurant to get some experience of how things are run. Then you can try and save up some money, the bank will not accept you for a loan if you have no income at all.

What is a commissions letter? -

Can anyone explain??

How are you using the term. Can mean several thingsSaw your note. Could mean an agreement to hire the photographer or could relate to compensation. In what context is this term being used, what circumstances?
