In your boss s own way, that s what he s doing with you. I don t think it s specifically against their rules, but it goes against the intent.And as another poster suggested, it s not your fault people want to charge. It s your boss s decision to have the machine and he s done so because it s a sales advantage (or rather not having one would be a disadvantage).The $1 per client is bogus. Most POS vendors charge very little per month - if it s hundreds, they should find a different one. Chances are the manager does the same thing... It s hard to know what to do because you don t want to lose your job. They have to live with their conscience. Just set a good example for them, and they will respect you for doing the right thing, and hopefully in the end that will pay off for you!

If the manager knows and still doesn t do anything about it then it s out of your hands unless you go to a boss higher up than the manager. Stealing is wrong, but if the manager isn t concerned then why should you be? I don t think they d let it happen on their watch. Why can t you tell your manager about it? No matter how long a worker as been at a single job, if they are breaking the rules and policies it should be a worthy thing to tell the manager about, if he doesn t notice it.

I have my own marketing business. Business has been slower than usual. I had an opportunity where a very large well known company was considering a contractor for a position that had previously been filled by an employer because they couldn t find someone with the amount of experience they needed for the money they were offering. My partners wanted me to take the job because it would look good on our client list so I did. The first day I was told the bosses didn t want a contractor and I was asked if I could come in daily as opposed from doing the job from our own office to make them more at ease. Since it was only for a few months I reluctantly agreed assuming if I needed to adjust that schedule they would understand. I was allowed to choose the hours. As I started learning the job I realized there were many things that came up outside of those hours. I also started realizing that I wasn t getting paid for parking or commute times which was getting costly, and the hours I was given was not sufficient to get most of the tasks done. Since I am usually used to just doing what it takes to get the job done, that is what I have been doing. I do a lot of work outside of the normal hours and don t bill for it. I have made them money and are saving them a lot of money. So when I needed to make changes to my schedule to accommodate other clients, I was told that wasn t acceptable even though were getting the same hours for free essentially. I was also scolded for being a few minutes late from time to time even though I don t get parking privileges and have the added struggle of having to find parking. Apparently the employees have been complaining. I was warned by a mentor to never allow a client to set hours because then they will start treating you like an employee and when you don t have the benefits of one you will lose time and money. I can see that now. When I said something I was made to feel like I wasn t honoring my word and that they had the right to give me a schedule and that I knew the situation when I agreed to the job. Are they really allowed to give you hours? DO you think I am being taken advantage of?

I have been with a company called Ameriplan for over a year now, and I just love it. If a company tells you that you will make a million your first year, than I would say it is a scam. If I were in your shoes I d pull together a group of children in a specific area and then go to a school and ask the better teachers to volunteer their time teaching those children for a few hours on the weekends. Also if you can get some donated pc s and have some internet services then each child could learn from someone anywhere in the world who could give them information. The problem with that though is cultures and ideas may be different than what they would learn in India. Here we are used to volunteering and we have the ethic that if you give out it will come back to you. So some people go in expecting that the world will give something back to them someday. Othere times we realize children will govern the world in later years so we must train them for the best. Maybe if you use those words you might get volunteers. So the only finance would be the transportation to get the people there and the children there at the same time for class. I don t know if you would need a government permit for teachers (who are off the clock and who are volunteering) to teach the children but since it s volunteer work and no money is exchanged maybe the government would look the other way.

I dont know, i usually dont use ebay, but maybe you could weigh it first and put the actual weight on there. An empty box would weigh a lot less than a box with a ps3 in it. Personally, I feel its safer to buy things sealed in the box, I feel more comfortable that way as a buyer, and I am pretty sure other buyers would too, that way they can t blame you for messing it up then selling it.

In pennsylvania there is a program called Apple Childcare. It is a subsidy for people that have generally low income so they can receive reduced price for daycare. I used to receive this subsidy and the money would go directly to the daycare center. Your family member would have to apply for this money, in whatever program your state offers, usually you can do it online, then they would specify you as their childcare person and you would receive some money. I know that in my state there was a waiting list for the subsidy, and your family member would have to be diligent about submitting income information every 6 months or when their income changes.
