How do I get into the wedding planning business? -

I would LOVE to be a part in planning weddings for a living. But I have no idea how I would get into a business like that Like, I guess I m wondering how I would get to be an apprentice or intern to a wedding planner. I just dont know where to begin! I went to a few websites that sell used books and textbooks. However, all of my books are no longer being sold (as they tell me) and none of these websites want to buy my books. Does anybody know a website that will literally sell all books no questions asked and scam free? I really need to get rid of these, and donating will be my last plan if all else fails.

I use both of these websites but I usually find that the websites through Book Scouter are only willing to pay about 1/2 of what you could get using half.com. Another way to sell books is at your college campus bookstore, just make sure that the books that you want to sell them are the ones that they are currently selling to students otherwise they will probably not take them. You could also post ads for your books around the campus (with permission from the college first). Good luck!

Trying to declare a major, maybe in Business? Can someone give me more details?I am a college student trying to figure out what major to declare. I was thinking about majoring in business now. Are business majors generally safe and general, or should I consider a different major? Can you be creative with a Business Major? I feel like my creative side will clash with all the numbers and accounting I will have to take!(I would do a Graphic communication major but I feel that s to limited)Thanks for any help about the business major!!

A business major is almost always a safe option if you still don t know what you want to do. Far better than some useless Liberal Arts BS (Not Bachelors in Science :) ) that everyone ends up taking. As far as the accounting, you can figure out how to work through it. It will help you in the end no matter how much work and how painful it is to get through. As far as creativity, your degree has nothing to do with how creative your job is. A business degree will give you more options than most other degrees. What you make of it will be up to you.
