What are some good ways to make some money? -

Nothing too elaborate please, just a couple of teens trying to earn some money for a school fundraiser.Do you have any good ideas? Please no baby-sitting, car wash, yard work etc. ideas. And it doesn t have to be like a stand at my school or anything, I just have to show them the profit.Thank you!

I m not sure how crafty you are, but you could try to make and sell jewelry. You can buy beads and other supplies at any craft store, and I m sure you could even find some on sale. You can also buy a book to get you started on beading (or I bet there s free instructions available online). With the holidays coming up, people might be interested in buying necklaces, bracelets, and earrings as gifts. If the jewelry looks attractive and well-made, you could sell it to family members, neighbors, or students at your school.Another idea (if your school does not have policies against it) would be to buy candy bars in bulk and sell them at a profit to students during your lunch break. Since the weather is turning colder, perhaps you could even set up a hot chocolate stand! You could do this at lunch time or perhaps at a school football game. You d just need cups, hot chocolate packets, and plenty of hot water. Maybe your school cafeteria (or church or some other organization you or your parents belong to) has those large hot water dispensers used by caterers -- perhaps they d let you borrow them.Good luck!

well my friend did this. get some money to start. like 30$. buy lots of popular candy. if it cost 1.00$ change the price to 1.50$. go door to door and say im selling candy for a fundraiser for my .. team. then they wil buy the candy giving you a 1.00 profit every 2 candies. at the end you will have 45$. you can keep going untill you have alot you can also change the price to how you want it. whatever. but the higher the price of the candy the more profit but less of a chance people will buy

you will need a work permit if you are a minor, the best place to start is with your school s guidance office. If you don t have a work permit, you ll need one. Quite often the counselors can tell you what local employers will hire teens but more realistically they will know of any OPEN job opportunities.thanks bye tc

I would do themes like a middle eastern girls night out pass out flyers and your friends can invite friends, moms, sisters, and so on get a Henna kit and leave a big tip jar out. Good luck!

Why does choices create opportunity cost? -

Homework question?Hint: Define opportunity cost.

Because if you choose to do something, the opportunity cost is what you could have done. So if you go to college and pay 120,000, the opportunity costs are time you could have spent doing something else, money you could have made working a job, etc.
