What is the best place to get business cards printed up? -

I want to get some business cards printed up, but I don t want to get robbed paying for them. Is Staples a good place? Because I have a Staples near my house.

Reduced Printing can give you 500 free full color business cards on thick paper - all you pay for is the shipping

There are good deals online. I recently printed from 123print.com and they were just ok, i thought the printing looked a little streaky. But I had postcards printed from Vistaprint.com and they were excellent and they have good deals so I would recommend them! You can use one of their designs or upload your own.

Use a good local shop if you can. Don t skimp-these cards represent your business.

Vista print on lineI got my cards from there and I LOVE them! Cheap too!www.Vistaprint.com

How can I get information to initiate online earning free from Bangladesh (South Asia)? -

You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies. You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job. These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as work at home because they would hear from too many unqualified people.

Yes you can earn money free i suggest you http://onlinebusadv.blogspot.com check this source its very useful source i hope this source can help you how can you earn money online

Is there a market for crepe restaurants/bars? -

Would you regularly visit a crepe restaurant if one were to open in your local town? I have an idea, after watching a television program for 2 men, who successfully opened a crepe restaurant. What do you think?

As you said it in between your words.. It depend on your location, Town, and customers .. Is it conservative area, up-scale ?? or just regular worker people.. The location and customers who has money and open mind, and have money to try .. It will also depend on your budget, capital money , experience, and your service people ...... I think i might try it.. yet i m not sure to keep it..Good luck and have a great day ..

Action Sports industry Retail Mark up? -

I have a product I want to pitch to retailers in the action sports industry. It is a low value item with an RRP of 1.99. I know mark ups are very varied depending on the industry, but can anyone tell me what range of Mark Up these sort of retailers work on for low priced items.

All Items are a minimum of 110% mark up and some go to 600% whatever the supply and demand can get for an item.

I want to start my own business, do I really need to finish college? -

Im a junior in college and I am HATING it. I don t like my major and cant find one that fits what I am interested in and I just cant stay motivated. I love to paint and have made a small name for myself painting children s furniture and bedroom accessories. My dream is to start my own business painting. The only problem is I cant do both. I cant go to school AND try to start my own business. So my question is; should I stay in college and finish or pursue my goal of starting my own business and finish college at a later date, if at all?

its highly advisable that you finish college first as is the case with anybody. but no, you do not need to finish college to start a business. Microsoft, Dell, Apple and I believe Oracle were started by people who did not complete their pursuits of higher education. your real worry should be whether or not your business venture would be profitable. selling art is hard, painting, even harder.

I too am a junior in college and starting an online business. If you paint cool stuff sell it on etsy.com. You can do both - you re almost done. Just finish up with whatever degree you are working on and do what you love.Trust me, I didn t finish college the first time around and now I m trying to get it done when I m older....no fun.

You quit now, it will haunt you for the rest of your life. so, dig in and make it like as if this is your business.

In my opinion...College degrees are only helpful if you plan on working for someone else. Thats it.To work for yourself, you do need knowledge in alot of areas...but this is attainable online and in bookstores and from your personal experience...there is much material available that is extremely current and authored by people who are out doing it and being successful at it (speaking about whatever subject or skills you are looking at)College is ultra structured, and the information isn t always current....most grads green from college have to sort of be retrained anyway when they get in the workforce... molded and shaped so-to speakA college degree by no means automatically increases your chances for success..but knowledge IS essentiall.People who think otherwise about college degrees are just drones....who work for someone else....for a pittance of a wage.(shrug)

What is the best way to market my small business using the internet? -

I want to try marketing using websites like myspace, facebook, youtube and twitter.

EliaseThe web site suggestion is valid but don t take the shotgun approach.Target your articles and other content toward the customers you want to attract. Think about what your customers are interested in and talk about what interests them. This will take a bit of time.Try to avoid spending time and money marketing to too broad of an audience. There is a great deal of good information on attraction marketing at the link below.Best of luck!

You have to set up a simple web site. Pick out your keywords . Optimize the site for search using keywords especially in page titles for google search.Write and publish articles detailing your expertise in a blog and on other free hosting sites such as Ezine articles.Check out our web site www.MetFund.com as an example.

Why would a big business act small? -

I am only looking for a couple reasons why a big business would act small.

Often times a large business creates divisions to be able to address certain issues that are problematic with one big entity. One reason is customer service. If a company has multiple locations but all the commands have to go through the big cheese or one central office. There will be a lot of work at one location creating a backlog. This slows down the activity and also slows down response to customers. Let s say a client wants something done but the business has to get approval from the manager first. The client would have to wait. The manager will have hundreds of approvals to go through and he would not know the full needs of each client. It simplifies marketing strategies. Different divisions of a company act like small businesses and have control of marketing within their area. If you have a national advertisment for one product that is targeted at one type of audience, you will be missing a lot of customers whom are not part of that audience. But if you have a town that has a fair each year, the branch in that town can sponsor the fair and use that as a more affective marketing strategy (direct marketing).Smaller businesses or divisions have less overhead as compared to one huge conglomerate. The division will be able to better manage their products or services with specific action to meet the requirements of that division. Minimal / consice information is sent between divisions and the headquarters simplifying communications, documentation, logistics, legalities and financial processes. There are a few more reasons but generally speaking, small business is the best way to interact with customers / clients while big business is a more efficient way to make money. When both are put together it s the best of both worlds. Hope this helps you out. Good luck

Ebay fraud. What to do next? -

Ok, so 4 weeks ago I purchased an item on ebay for $116. After two weeks, it still hadn t come so I contacted the seller and received no reply to the 3 emails i sent. (I allowed 5 days for a response). Then, I saw the sellers feedback score had changed from only 8 positive, to 8 positive (all buying), and 4 negative (all who had the same problem as me).I have also lodged a complaint on paypal, and escalated that into a paypal claim (which is still pending).Anyway, I have messaged the other victims of this fraud, and we are willing to send a police report. Is this a good idea, as the seller obviously has our addresses since he was meant to post out our items???I ALSO have all his contact details including full name, address and phone numbers (which I have rung but as soon as I mention ebay I get hung up on). What should I do from here, and I HATE being ripped off to pathetic thugs, and I (and the other ebay users) want out money back.

Paypal have been sounding off about their wonderful Buyer Protection (which last year in Australia was advertised at $20,000 as part of a marketing campaign - probably been reduced by now) so theoretically you should have nothing to worry about if you followed all the eBay rules. But I have a nasty feeling that they try to squirm out of paying by claiming that the seller has cleaned out their Paypal account and there is no money to refund. This is false advertising and basically fraud if it is true, so I hope it is not. Maybe someone else can offer some real life experience, hopefully positive, for you in this nasty dilemma. Good luck.

You will receive your refund from Paypal, and they will chase the seller for it.Yes it would be a good idea collectively to file a Police action, as this will carry more weight.Good luck

Can I ask for an invoice when I take a taxi? -

I just got an internship and the job involves a lot of traveling. So, for instance if I take the train then obviously I can ask for an invoice and then the company gives me back the money, but if I take a taxi to get from the train station to the office (or a hotel where I will be staying for a night) can I also ask the taxi driver to issue me an invoice so I can get my money back? (Sorry I m just an intern and I don t earn much and that s a business trip afterwards).

Sure, although it s usually called a receipt, not an invoice. Any taxi will give you a receipt, just ask.

Some cab companies furnish them, some don t. And since you are travelling to different places, it would difficult to determine that. Could you have them sign a voucher from your company? Some cabbies may not want to do that since they are probably skimming and wouldn t want to sign anything. You can only ask and explain why you need it. I m sure most of them have a way of getting you a receipt.

Sir can anyone from south india give an idea what business i can strart with 3 lakhs? -

it depends on lots of things. Factors like your education, your beliefs, the place u live in. I guess u need to do a lot of research before u jump in.

I am not from south india but does it matter as any business is good any where in India when ably managed. Now what Business to start depends upon various factors.Your age, qualifications, experience, aptitude and source of finance. In 3 lacs you will hardly be able to maintain stocks and do good turnover with small margin profits.Shop on rental with deposit will reduce your business capital planned.Ownership premises is out of question with the budget formalised. You may have to give credit to your known prospective customers as otherwise they will not be attracted to you and may not patronise you.Every business is good when you manage with zeal and fortitude.Go in for service oriented business where dependence of having large stocks as inventory is avoided. Servicing of Computers/Printers, AMC for Water purifiers, Air conditioners, Refrigerators, delivery pickup service, Electrical installations fittings along with a licence holder,Plumbing Sanitary services with a licenced plumber, or some innovative service that you can think best. Give a thought. All these activities in Business has good scope in South India.

First you purchase one computer.1.Data entry work2.DTP (Photoshop, Page Maker, Corel Draw)3. Xerox4. STD / FAXfrom the above business you can earn minimum Rs.15,000 to 20,000 per month. But you need shop for this. First you start with Data entry work from your home. Approach big companies or small companies and get order for projects.

Can you help me with my business? -

I have set up a new business in the pen industry, in the next 3 years I would like to expand my business and have several stores throughout the country, the company, Mike s Pens Ltd. has a motto, Have a pen I give away pens,

Giving things away isn t the smartest business model there is. Where s the revenue?

Sounds like a good idea. All businesses need pens. You can give them away, include your phone number for Mike s Pens and charge customers when they re-order more pens. Another thing that you can do, charge other companies to advertise or place their logo on free pens that you give away. An Example Mike s Pens - supports Xzxz s Computer Repair. The owner of Xzxz s Computer Repair would pay to have their company displayed on your pens. Good Luck.
