I want to start a small business opening my own hairdressing got the skills i need but dont have the money? -

Since I did my gcse i went to college doing an intro course in hairdressing and an just finished an advanced and worked part time as a trainee hairdresser and luckily moved up each year as a professional hairdresser. I am now 19 and really wish to open up my own. iv researched the Market and have the right skills to manage and train two girls aged 16 but I want to move outfrom the current hairdresser I am in. Iv analysed swot analysis on competitors etc. But I m only 19 how the hell am I gonna get the money for capital, rent, council tax etc. I could get grants but I can t just set up the hairdresser with just a grant. I could save up but my salary cant cover the cost for even a year for capital. It could take up years to save. I v not got plans to go uni. Shall I wait until I have money? My uncle is an accountant and my aunt runs her own pottery cafe got good tips from them but they can t give me money. Plus my Aunt is in the brink of bankrupt

As a small business owner, you ll struggle to get a bank loan unless you can put some of your own money up frontYou certainly sound as if you have done your homeworkWhy not speak to Business Gateway, number in the phone book, as sometimes they ll support young people towards their first own business orWhy not become a mobile hairdresser meantime, as that will keep your costs down but you ll still have your own small business.

you could be working in a curent hairdressers for now, and start saving up in your bank, and start thinking of properties while doing your current job, then take it further step by step, dont give up.

Can anyone give me some small business advice? -

I am 27 and I have a passion for baking. My sister is quite a cook as well. I have been thinking a lot (meaning for the past couple of years)about how much I would enjoy owning a bakery. There aren t that many bakeries in the town I live in (Norman,OK). Which is why I would really like to run one. A bakery that can have an edge as well as cater to the sweets lovers, and the vegans, and organic folks. I don t have professional experience and I have heard sometimes banks do look at that when considering a small business loan. Can anyone out there maybe help me with some tools and references so I can really take a serious look at this possibility? I would appreciate it.

I would stay clear of an SBA loan. The rates are very high, you would be better off self funding. I would suggest trying it out of your home before incurring the overhead of a bakery. I knew someone who baked custom cakes out of their home for birthday parties and other special events. I would start by doing something like that. Then once you have a loyal following and some revenues to show for it, you will be in a stronger position to get a bank loan (at reasonable rates). Good luck...

I recommend that you review this flowchart for small business loans - it gives information about what you need at each step.

If you can startup with your own money, it is the best way to go. However, if you need to ask for a loan, then you need to write an excellent and thorough business plan to present to a bank. Since you will be a new business, you will need to include a lot of research in yoru business plan. A business plan of 10 pages will NOT cut it. Expect it to be 30 pages + if it is done right. Since it will take you a while to write it, I highly suggest going to a library and checking out some of the books they have there on business plans. Experience is not necessary, but a plus, however if you do your homework right, it will pay off.

Is chris butler@fortebuilder.com a scam work at home business? -

they keep sending me emails for a home based work need more info about them

I ve had 2 people pitch this to me in the past couple of months. Is it a scam? No, I don t thing so. But it appears to me to be a model designed to feed off of its own sales reps. You buy product from the company. You buy marketing from the company. You buy advertising from the company. You buy leads from the company.Pretty much anything that you want to do involves giving more money to the company and that s a red flag to me.Additional red flags went up when, (in the presentation), very little time was spent talking about the products and a great deal of time was spent talking about recruiting.I didn t take them on because they did not appear to offer anything unique and I ve seen too many businesses like this go down in a very short time.Hope this helps....

I don t know but these people are anti scam and have good references, articles, and good ideas on home business. Be careful http://workathometruth.com/top-10-home-b

Are there any home based business were i can make money at least 200 to 300 weekly without any start up cost? -

I have hundreds of friends and associates. None of the guys/girls have ever made any money on these on line ventures. If they would have they would be talking about it and I would be in on it..SCAM

There are legitimate ways to make money online. But there are also scams...Don t fall for the get-rich-quick opportunities.I have found that many people label online opportunities as scams, because they do not know how to market their product(s).Affiliate Marketing requires no start up costs, and you can Advertise for free. Traffic, which is created through Advertising, is a Must, in anything you do online. If you are interested in finding companies listed with the BBB or you d like to learn how to market online, check out EMG s website!Good luck!

data entry is bullshit. surveys are bullshit. Affiliate Marketing is legit. Start a blog, and write some good content, and soon enough you will have visitors to it. Then you can put up some adsense ads or affiliate offers to make some money. Its not as quick and easy as most people say, they just want you to buy their ****. So everyone that put their website in their answer is hoping that you will buy what they are selling. But then again, Yahoo answers can bring a lot of traffic if you know what you are doing. my website is www.moneymakingusa.com, along with a few others. I just put that there to show you what affiliate marketing basically is. All of those links on those reviews are affiliate links, so I would get some profit if someone signed up. The one resource i really do honestly recommend is www.wealthyaffiliate.com. Thats not even an affiliate link, so I will make no profit what so ever if you sign up. Check out www.warriorforum.com ...its free. and there is a lot of good information on it.

income is NEVER guaranteed with a business and any kind of business operated from home will take a long time if ever to reach that kind of income and any kind of legit business requires some start-up costs
