Are there any REAL work at home businesses that are not scams? -

Are there any businesses that really hire people to work from their home that are not scams?

I tried over 15 opportunities in the course of 2 years so I have some great information for you on how to find a LEGIT way to work from home plus a list of top 10 work at home scams! This post is a little long, but you will walk away armed with the knowledge you need to find a legitimate work from home opportunity. I am a single mother of two little girls who are actually tugging on my arm as I write this so I will try to be brief. Many people are looking for work from home companies. All the scams definitely create a big problem. Did you know Yahoo Finance states that for every 1 real home career there are 50 scams? You have to be careful and I can show you how. So the scams create a big problem but also, there is a problem of people misunderstanding the difference between work from home jobs and work from home opportunities. There really are not work from home jobs. To get that you have to start working for a company in their offices first, then they MAY allow you to take the job home. Most of the work from home opportunities that are legitimate offers are not an hourly pay type job. They are business opportunities that help you in starting your own business from your home. What you should do first is to decide if you are simply looking for an hourly rate type job or if you are looking for more of an opportunity for additional income such as what you would make in your own business being your own boss from home. Did you know that small home business have increased in the last 5 years by about 200%? People are really starting to realize that if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. Meaning, if you want to make the kind of money you are worth, the kind of money you deserve for your efforts, then you need to make that happen yourself. No one else will take care of you financially the way you would take care of yourself! Legitimate small home businesses have some small costs involved, less than $500 to start is reasonable and I would stay away from those wanting $1000-$5000. It doesnt cost that much to start and run a home business so you shouldnt pay it. There are some great small home franchises that you can start for $50 to $100 bucks! If you are coming across places that say free then I would RUN dont walk the other way! They never are. I tried them many times and 3 weeks later I had to buy this and 6 weeks later that. After 6 months these free businesses had cost me over $800 on average. After trying 15 things I now work about 18-25 hours per week for a well known and respected company with amazing credentials. And get this, this companys motto is Saving Americans, One Household At A Time. This company actually helps keep Americans Safe and Secure by offering Medical and Dental plans at affordable rates that anyone can afford. This National Medical Healthcare Company has recently opened a new division called SecureNet where they help Americans Protect their children in a program called National Child ID in partnership with the FBI. They also help Americans get back on top of their finances with Foreclosure Avoidance, Debt Relief, Credit Repair and more. Whether you are helping people get much needed medical and dental care, helping people keep their children safe or helping people stay afloat in this uncertain economy, you can feel comfort and pride knowing you are working from home with a credible company that you would be PROUD to work with. This is a nationally known and reputable home business which is what you need to make sure you are looking for. I have been with the company for just over two years now and I make over $3000 a month! In your first month, depending on how many hours you can work, I have seen people make anywhere from $500 to over $1000. And your income will increase each month because you get paid residual income as well. This is where you do the work once, but every month when your customer pays their monthly bill, you get your commission again. Again and again, month after month, year after year. Thats called residual income. The best part is they have 401(k), direct deposit, life insurance and a benefits package most of which you get from day one. In addition, there are no products, no hard selling or pushing, no cold calling, no home parties and no telemarketing! That was VERY important to me. I absolutely love working with them and I can t believe I am making what I am making and in so few hours per week. The neat thing is there are other people on your team that you work with so you are never alone. You have great team support and you get to know the other people on your team pretty well. Ive made some great friends working with this company.I was a bit apprehensive at first because I know a lot of companies are not legit but this companys credentials FAR SURPASSED any other home business I had ever seen. Our $25 Million Dollar Corporate Office is located at 5700 Democracy Dr., Plano, T

This sounds very intriguing...is this residual income considered multilevel marketing? Or a pyramid form of money making? I believe Pyramids, etc., are not legal in some states. Report Abuse

A few, you really have to hunt through the scams for them though.I got pretty lucky, my research was pretty paranoid I guess you could say, it took me three years or there about to find a company that I felt comfortable with. I came close to making a few mistakes but find information that pulled me back just in time. You have to be very careful, and do lots of research. If you are interested in the one that I found drop me an email, if not I wish you good luck, and suggest that you do lots and I mean lots of research before you even talk to them the first time.Good luck,Guard5a

Not sure if this is something you would interested in but I sell Avon and throw e-Parties. This is great if you know people that will buy Avon. What it is is that I would email you a link that you would email to all your contacts with a special code that they must use at checkout. At the end of the e-Party you would get 10% of the sales or you can use that toward Avon purchases. It s up to you. It s a good way to make extra money for yourself and requires little work. Just thought I would throw that out there as an idea. Contact me for more info if you d like.

How to start a cleaning service? -

My husband and I are trying to start a business in cleaning for small offices, so far I know what types of licenses we all will need. Now just need to know what we have to do an order to get things organized to start.

I clean small offices and love it. Besides the licenses you need to call a lot of insurance agencies and get quotes for liability insurance or a bond. The price for this varies a lot so do call around. It shouldn t be that expensive but it is really important because it protects you against claims of damage, etc. Plus it s a great selling tool-businesses love to know you have it. Once you choose an agent, keep on friendly terms-they can be great as a resource for new business. You should have contracts, estimate charts, bid forms and more. I have a resource for you, plus tons of tips on my Squidoo lens and blog. The links are in My Profile. Best of Luck to you both!! You can do this!!!!

I work 60 hours a week no breaks and get paid salary but im not in management? is this fair? -

Depends if you re forcing yourself not to take breaks, or they are telling you that you can t take breaks. Also, just because you re not management, it doesn t mean you don t fall under an overtime exemption status. Most salaried business professionals who have a job that takes a bit of cognitive ability fall under some overtime exemption.I m on salary and feel like I have to work 80 hour weeks sometimes just to keep up. What dawned on me though, is if I work that hard, management is not going to realize they are under staffed. So, I m basically creating the problem I m suffering from by getting things done on my personal time. Not an economy to be rocking the boat, but if you don t mind risking your job. Start just doing 40 hour weeks, and if you fall behind, but you re working hard...then explain to your employers that they are under staffed. If they try to compare you to other employees who are doing more than you, your defense should be that those employees are working hours they should not be in order to pick up the slack. Document all this carefully, in case you re wrongfully terminated for refusing to work beyond what is reasonable. Also, check out to see if you actually do meet overtime exemption status. Look on both the Federal and State leave, because one might be more stringent towards the employer than the other.

At the time I went thru this on 2 different jobs the Fed Wage and Hour Dept. had it listed that unless you supervise or administer work to 3 or more people, you qualify for overtime. That wages is just an excuse some employers use to get out of paying overtime. Check the Wage Hour regs now to see. You must have a list of dates and hours worked for them to enforce. Luckily I had kept such a list and got a check really fast.

How to attain startup capital to open business location. -

We have a food business that has taken off from birthday parties to online orders. However now we need an location to handle the demand of our customers. At this time, we have been in business right at 1 year.

Hello there,A new business can obtain working capital from three broad categories and occasionally a fourth small one.First, the owners can provide the funds as part of what they invest in the company. Whether the form is stock, paid in capital or loans, it is part of what they invest. This category would include any private loans from friends or relatives of the owners who are willing to loan money to the owner so that the owner can invest it in his business.Second, the business can provide working capital through its operations. Frequently, a business will have a reserve for expansion, planned or yet to be planned. Third, the business can seek capital from third party lenders. These are the commercial lenders, folks who make loans to businesses as part of their normal business operation. They will require adequate property to be pledged to secure the loan. The fourth category is government grants. Under certain circumstances there may be government grants available to a business to use for a specific purpose that the government want to further, such as developing business in certain areas or developing certain types of new technology. This is not a broad category because the options are limited to what government programs may exist. This is also not an efficient source of general working capital for a business.Later,

Internally generate the funds. In other words, the company must finance its own expansion. Second choice: money comes out of your pocket to invest in expansion of your business. There is really no financing for small biz these days. That s why so many small businesses are going belly up so fast.
