Macys in NYC easy question? -
Having worked in NYC myself for 10 years, and having come in from out of state...what I learned was that NY companies would prefer to hire people with New York experience. You may think to yourself...that is pretty arrogant of them....Let me set the record straight.....They are completely justified in that requisite...the reason is that many people go to NY and try to make it and they just don t have what it takes.NYC is a whole different level of playing field....You have to be top notch or you won t make it. If you are lucky enough to get in somewhere...you will either adapt quickly or you ll fail and probably have to move away. it is a tough city...but if you make it....the education you ll get being in that environment will give you a trmendous advantage if you ever move back to your hometown. Its just like that NY song says If I can make it here, I can make it anywhere ...that is absolutely dead on.Keep trying and good luck.
i send in my app and got DINED. What is dined? They took you to eat?or do you mean denied?to get hired, you need to have excellent English skills.and do not send anything in, visit them.......ask to talk to the HR depart andask what days of the week they interview.
Selling candy for money? -
Did you buy them at a discount are they still in date? I m sure if you stood in Main Street some passers by might buy them maybe outside a train station or cinema. Move around after 10 mins so you don t get into trouble.
How should I pay my employees !!! Please help!? -
you have really put yourself in a bad situation. if u tell your employees you are going to lower their pay, they will not be happy. plus they can always threaten not to give you a ride. i would say that u have to wait untill u can drive so u dont have to rely on them as much
You should pay them an hourly rate plus the going rate for mileage. So a house keeper makes $10 per hour plus if they use their own vehicle they keep records and turn them in and you pay them .38/mile then you get their social and 1099 them at the end of the year when you file taxes.
What all other businesses do...pay them a set wage, and so much per mile driving time....Right now, my guess is you are paying for equipment and supplies out of your half... this is wrong too..this is your overhead, it and any other expenses( taxes?) should be subtracted first...then you should pay yourself, and your employee an hourly salary.... keep track of the hours per job, and pay accordingly........
how is it your Business if you do the same amount of work and they also drive for you?
Pay them mileage to your pick up point and a small incentive bonus,
you should keep paying them what you do beest not to make them upset at this point.
I am BPO employee and thinking to go for manufacturing industry. I need a job in this industry. help me here? -
There are many manufacturers throughout the country. I suggest you go on line or look in your local yellow pages. If your degree of expertise in this line is good than you should not have any problem. Go direct to the horses mouth so to speak.
I need a name for a computer repairs business? -
As a new business you need to tell the average customer what you are going to do, so your business should include Computer Repair in its title. As an example, in my home town, there was a place called Sylvia Beach Company . For the longest time I thought it was a law office, or accounting firm...turns out it was a Tobacco shop and Book Store. (The owner loved a VERY OBSCURE poem in which the writer said they wanted to go to Sylvia Beach to read and smoke) Needless to say, they closed very shortly after opening. I would recommend also using a name which establishes you to your area. Such as Tri State Computer Repair or Mile High Computer Install ane Repair . Or Something clever such as Compu-Guys ...Using a name such as Compu-Guys is good, but still doesn t say what you do. So, I would add the Compu-Guys Computer Rescue, Maintenance and Rpair. (As soon as you become known, people will refer to you as Compu-Guys , but until then, always include the tag so that the person who does NOT know you will learn what you are and how you can help them.)
Something catchy always grabs attention and attracts customers:E-BoltsE-ScrewsE-Bolts n Screws Repair@E-aseRepair@EaseE-Repairs - Computer repairE-fix - PC repairsPC@REPAIRS]Your PC Fix
