Working From Home - 1099 or Business License? -

I will be working from home on the Internet for a local business and they have offered to 1099 me. Should I accept this or would it be in my best interest to set up a business and have them hire me that way. Or is there any difference? At this time I will only be doing work for a single business but I may offer services to a couple others later. Any help will be appreciated!

They are going to 1099 you either way. You can work as a contractor without a business license in most cases, avoiding the additional taxes for the business.

You must have right information if you want to make money with work at home . You can use method that I use to make good income every months. It works fast and It will work for you too. You can find more information from link below.

You need to be a business, or least have the license, insurance and permits.1099 is how one business documents payments to small business and contractors.Good luck to you.

Is it really hard to make money selling scentsy? -

I know consultants are not suppoesed to say real numbers but I need to know if it is worth all the work to sell scentsy. I am in a rural area and by the time I drive to people s houses for parties and stuff and buy more business materials, will I be out of money for that month? I m not sure I ll make more than $75-100 per month and that won t put much of a dent in our monthly expenses. I just want some direct answers. Thanks so much in advance.

Selling anything is rough especially if your in rural area !plus thats only a one time sale in most instances !GETTING repeat customers over and over again is YOUR toughest achievement i would venture into another form of home business thats provides a residual income that requires very little work on your part

I have been selling Scentsy for about 9 months now and I love it. To be honest, I rarely do any home parties. Most of my sales are simply by word of mouth. With Scentsy, you will get 20% commission from you sales. Once you sell a thousand dollars you will move up to 25% commission. It is really not that hard to sell Scentsy. It really does basically sell itself. As your team grows, your earnings will grow as well. It is a great job for extra money, but to think of it as a full time income in the beginning would be unrealistic. The kit that you get when you sign up will have everything you need to get started. So, you would not need to buy anything extra in the beginning. There are alot of great promotional products that you can buy, but they are not necessary. My advise to anyone that is just starting with Scentsy is to have a big Open House in your home and invite EVERYONE that you know. Hopefully, you can get several bookings off of your own open house. Also, get friends and family to host parties for you. Scentsy is a great product and once people see it for themselves they will usually come back for more. Good luck with your decision. I hope this helped you some.

Being in a rural area brings about different challenges, but it s definitely not impossible. I have one consultant on my team who lives in a rural area, but makes it work to her advantage. She s the only consultant close to her area, so many people seek her out when they need more product. Not all of your work has to be with home parties. I do a lot of basket parties, where I hand off the basket of scents and the hostess is on her way. A week later, she brings it back and I calculate the order and send it in. For the time and effort put into it, it s worth it. I also get a lot of online sales that don t require a party at all.I don t share income publicly, but I have done so via email. Sharing this information can be misleading since everyone runs their business differently. But I m happy to share if it would make your decision easier.I wish you the best of luck with your decision and commend you for all your research. It sounds like you like the company and the product and that s the best first step.Lisa

my wife sells Scentsy and loves it. Being in a rural area might be hard at first until people know that you are selling it, then they will be coming to you or ordering off your Scentsy web site. On nice thing about it is no one else is selling it around you so you will not have other Scentsy people trying to sell to your customers. Another thing that will help you a lot is to sign up under a good consultant that will help you out anytime you need, weather its for questions about your account or ordering or maybe just needing some scents or warmers found for your customers that you cant get. My wife has a large inventory of warmers and scents, and she loves to help out her team in anyway she can. we ship things to her other team members all the time that live on the other side of the US, and NO we don t charge them shipping for it. if you would like to know more about it or talk about how much money you can make, my wife would love to talk to you about it and answer any question you may have. please email me and i will give you her web site, email address and phone number. good luck with what ever you decide to do.

Where can i find a legit work at home job? -

Do i need a cetain kind of experience

You need to send your resume out to real jobs you are qualified to do. In your cover letter you need to state that you wish to work remotely, from your home office. LOTS of companies, especially in CA operate this way. They usually provide transportation for you to come in for an interview and for you to attend company meetings a few times a year, but otherwise everything is done online

I recommend you my work at home program. It works just amazing and easy. If you are really serious about work at home. You should have a look work at home right program. It will work for you if you do it right. I create very good income with this program. You can find more info at link below.

I m a consultant for Scentsy and I didn t have any previous experience. I ve never been involved in sales of any kind....and never really wanted to! :) But I love what I do.Good luck! I hope you find something that works well for you.Lisa

You need experience for some, not for all. www.athomeopps.com lists companies that hire people to work from home in many different categories.
