I am thinking of doing a work at home doing data entry for Work at Home Jobs Co. does anyone know if they are? -

legit? they want an upfront fee of $37 to be billed to my credit card

You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies. You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job. These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as work at home because they would hear from too many unqualified people.

Spend the 37.00 on fliers to go around to businesses - or if you live near a college campus, put some fliers on public Bulletin Boards. Data Entry is never done at home - Thesis, essays, compositions, are all needed by busy students. A lot of these scam companies try to get you to do refunds or offer rebates , what a laugh. Its plain selling and you have to work your fanny off to make a couple of nickels.

Don t do it.There are millions of scams out there.I wish the goverment would come after these sharks. They pay you - not you pay them./

It is very likely a scam. Anytime a company wants money up front, that is a big red flag.Do not do this.
