How do i use amazon.com or ebay.com??? to sell something? -

okay so i am wanting to sell my zune- i do not want anything comlicated.. i just want upfront cash basically-but i do not want to risk craigslist so can anyone tell me the steps i need to take to get my zune out there for sale??? help please:)!

You might be better off letting an experienced eBay seller sell it for you. They normally take a percentage of somewhere from 20% to 30%. EBay has a directory of resellers in local areas who can help. You might ask around your circle of friends to see if you know someone (or someones friend/relative) sells on eBay and would sell it for you. Just make certain it s someone you know you can trust, since they will need to take possession of it until it has sold.Then again, it might be a good experience for you to sell something on eBay. Any member can click through and do it fairly quickly, but I advise reading up on it first. Check the library for Starting an EBay Business for Dummies by Marsha Collier. Marsha s great and helped me get started. Being set up as an eBay seller can be very handy even if you only sell something every couple of months. If you start, you might realize you have other things you d like to sell.

Should I open a business bank account for my small business? -

I recently started a small business and I was wondering if I should start a business bank account or should I just get another personal bank account separate from my other personal account. The business I own is a computer repair business and it is really small. Just basically a side job for when I am in college. Hi - Check with your bank - I opened a free business checking account with Washington Mutual (now Chase), and it actually costs me less than my personal checking account with another bank. You may still be able to open a free business checking account with Chase.

If it is not that profitable a business it is not worth opening an account for it. As you rightly pointed out it does cost monthly to service a business account. The best thing to do is to keep a ledger that way you can log in money that comes in and goes out on the business. That will let you know where your business funds are. I suggest you open a separate personal account and keep that money separate from your own personal expenditure. You were thinking in the right direction. I hope second opinion has helped. I want to work from home. How do I know which companies are legitimate? -

I am a mother of two and until recently I was a bartender. Two years ago I was involved in a car accident related to alcohol and was charged with a felony for my best friend getting hurt that was also in the car with me. So now I have a felony on my record and im afraid to get a degree in anything for the fear of wasting my time if im not able to get hired because of my felony. I am tired of the hours although the money was great and now I am on probation and my probation officer is telling me I can no longer bar tend or be around alcohol at all. Everything I ve seen on him points to him being legit. Haven t heard or seen a bad thing about him anywhere. That doesn t necessarily mean that what he offers really works but it s a good bet. hi, just wanted to know you re views.I have a contract of working 32 hours a week, but generally would work 2-10 hours extra. Now, I look after a child and my boss ( the mother) changes my working hours quite drastically. The prearranged hours are like 9-17 depending on the day of the week, but one week she would ask me to do 13-22 oclock with short notice,, which makes it hard for me to make plans after work.. I feel bad if I say no, so I rarely decline their request..What do u think, is this legitimate?

are you a nanny? they can set your hours to what they want, unless it says they can t in your contract. if you don t like your job, get another one. that s what i did =] i also work in childcare.

Was the prearranged schedule in writing? If yes, obviously the drastic change in hours is not legitimate. However, since this company appears a mom and pop operation, you are at the mercy of the owners. If you have a good relationship with the boss, try to have a talk with her, and explain your predicament. If she does not seem willing to reach a reasonable compromise, you may have no choice except to put up or leave.

Did you find the job through an agency? It may be worth talking to them to say that the hours are not what their client asked for when they asked the agency to find them someone.
