Tips for selling on ebay? -

i have mainly books and stuff to sell, but i can t seem to sell it.i ve already had to re-list this book because it didn t sell.any tips are welcome.

It is very hard to sell books unless they are rare or popular because there are thousands of them on EBAY. You can make your llsting look better with an image host and good looking text. Offer both media mail and Priority Mail, or ask a higher price and offer free shipping. Before Xmas that might help. Offer discounts on multiple items. Accept returned items, less shipping which is only $4 for a book. Ship international. Definitely fill in the Item Specifics. Take good pictures of the book. Choose auction rather than Buy It Now. Make sure your title has a lot of search words and fill the whole line. I know a sub-title helps but I hate to spend the $ for a cheap item. I have had to list some items 3 and 4 times. Remember, you can have 5 free items every 30 days. There is more info on EBAY help pages.

Have you looked at completed listings to see how much the book has sold for in the past? You may be asking too much for it, or there isn t a market for it .....at this time. How was your description? Did you include any photos? I would research this a little and then list it as a Fixed Price or a Buy It Now.

check the ending price on similar books. Usually, free shipping and low starting bid attract buyers but if the books are not a high demand, you might end up loosing money if you don t have a reserve. At the same time, if you do have reserves, it turns buyers away. I would say check the demand and then decide if you can afford a lose to attract more potential buyers. good luck!

USPS Priority Mail Question? I shipped the package out about 4 days ago and still acceptance? -

??????????????WHAT S GOING ON??? DOES ANYBODY KNOW?

Go to the post office where you mailed it, if you have a receipt they can do a better trace of it.

Hi,The online tracking is always behind often is not updated for a few days. You can call your local p.o. for a better update than what you re seeing online.

Why would it take longer to create a new job rather than rehire for an old job? -

Why would it take longer to create a new job rather than rehire for an old job?

Most organizations have to create a formal requisition for the new job. This posting sometimes has to go through legal departments to ensure that requirements are met. These could include union requirements or labor relations requirements for internal postings first, then proper external postings if an internal candidate is not qualified/promotable, etc. In some cases the position may require an H-1B visa holder if a qualified person does not apply (really touchy subject). There are other requirements to be cognizant of, particularly if the position can be filled by someone returning to the organization off of disability, FMLA, or military Guard or Reserve service to our great Nation. In many cases those persons will fill the new job if they are qualified for it. It is rare when you can get a good external candidate hired and in place before the 2-week or even 30 day notice expires for the departing employee.A rehire, provided it is someone *good* who left on good terms and is going back into the same old job generally, but not always, removes all of the requirements above. In many cases an organization that convinces someone to rehire for their old job after a few weeks out will sometimes get their seniority back, too. This saves thousands of dollars in retraining. Some companies do keep an old position open for a few weeks to allow someone to change their mind. In this economy it is a rarity. What I have found, however, is that they wiil leave a second time within a year or less. When that happens they really need to stay gone because they are not happy. Granted there are exceptions to this.

i always ask that one myself personally it has to start with skill experience and technique plus how long long you ve worked for and if you wish to keep on working for.

I am interested in starting a face on another body business but have no idea as to what time of software to us? -

What do you have to fill out on a money order? -

After the Postal Worker has completed the Payee and payment amount section on the front of the Order. On the back you-1.Write your name and address2.Complete the section that asks for details. account no. reference no.etc..3.Place in correctly addressed envelope, stamped and then post.4.You keep the receipted stub of the money order for your records.

I think just the amount. I don t think it is like a check where you need all that other information.

....

wouldn t you do that at a bank or 711 or walmart???

Who it is going to and your name and address.

How many shoppers didnt own a car or a house? -

Small business terms and conditions of sales and service? -

If we put our terms of sales and service on our invoices based on what we have seen similar businesses use, do we need to show a solicitor? We are trying save costs and time by using one.

It depends on the type of business you re in. Do you expect to have to deal with a lot of issues about supply and payment of your goods and services? If so, you probably need a solicitor to cast their eye over your T C s.Look at the T C s of some of the bigger companies. They re usually the ones who ve had them drawn up by a lawyer so they should cover most things. What s better - save a few hundred pounds now by not using a solicitor or save yourself thousands in a lawsuit at a later date by having watertight conditions drawn up now?Good luck!
