What right do the banks have to decide my future? -

I have been successfully running my own business now (sole trader) for a year. I have been lucky enough to do it without borrowing money or overdrawing my bank account. Recently they discovered that I have been using my current account as a business account. As I am a sole trader there is very little money going in there for materials etc. It is pretty much my money and the tax I am saving. Anyway my bank manager told me It is LAW that I have a business account and mustnt use my current account for such transactions. So I agreed and asked them to open a business account for me. After sitting there for half an hour or so, they finally told me it was DECLINED. When I asked why, he said he was unable to give me a reason as it was all decided by the computer. I feel like the bank is telling me they dont want me to run a business.Anyway since then I have discovered it is NOT law that I have a business acoount and that I only have to be able to say what is business and what is not. This is so unfair, what other options do I have? At the moment Im trying other banks but Im waiting for a reply.I think of all the businesses they have refused to help during the recession which have gone out of business (1 in particular had full order books) Who the Hell do they think they are?

That s an easy one, take your business (current account) elsewhere and open up a business account with the new bank.If you don t like the decision the bank has made then you can take it to the banking ombundsman but ultimately it is the banks decision (a case of their house, their rules). The only reason the banks insist on separate accounts is so they can charge you more. The believe that business accounts generate more work for them (amount of transactions) and therefore bang you with more charges. If you read the terms and conditions of your current account there is probably something in there which says you can t use it as a business account.Just take your business elsewhere.

If they told you that you had to have a business account and you didn t you could take action. The fact that you have now had a bank account declined actually means they will have affected your credit rating.I suggest you do some solid research into what you do and don t need to do so that you are prepared with the facts.

Closing ebay account to open a new one ok? (ebay sellers plz)? -

My DSR (detailed seller rating is about to go down). Does not matter how hard I try I keep getting people are are not leaving me 100% feedback DSR. I do know that if my DSR go down to below 4.5 ( or whatever their minimum is) ebay will close my account. If my account is closed then I CANNOT OPEN a new account so here what I am thinking of doing and want to know if its OK ?????? While my account is about to fall below the standard DSR I should close my account and open a new one. Will that will be OK? or will eBay say why he close a good standing store and open a new one. Thanks

You can have more than 1 account, so while the existing account is still going you can start a new one then eventually cancel the current. DSR ratings are ridiculous, i think trying to uphold to eBay s standards will be nearly impossible. I sold like crazy until 2 years ago when they implemented new stringent rules. Then the DSR came along buyers have no clue or understand a 4 out of a 5 is actually bad for a seller. Not the eBay i enjoyed.

How can i make some money online with little investment? -

real methods, not surveys and stuff like that.

While you won t make a ton of money doing this, you can easily make $20 a day and have fun at the same time. It s called cent sports (heres a link http://www.centsports.com/?opcode=201938 ). Basically its a free legal betting site. What makes it free and legal is the fact that they give you the money to start out with. How can they do this? It s because they are supported by advertisers. I know several people on centsports who make $50 a day from just betting on sports games.

I see you mentioned you dont want to use surveys.. why is that? Most people dont realise that there is still LOTS of money to made with online sruveys, research companies spend millions and millions of dollars a year finding out people opinions. The problem is there are many sites out there that will just waste your time. There is a very popular article on the front page of goarticles.com that talks about online surveys and shows you that there is still lots of money to be made in it (some people use it as their primary income!) link below to the article:

Bill, the best way to make money online without getting ripped off with other peoples scams, is to have your own website. That way you can control everything. So if you dont have a website,1. get a web host2 create the website3. apply to agencies like clickbank.com, cj.com, shareasale.com etcthis will give you links for products and services to advertise on your website. Bill, there are so many online businesses and some that have a high start up cost. I have found one to very reliable and when you consider what you get at a small cost. There is more than one income stream available with one system. You can also create a free website with weebly.com and you can buy a .com url then forward your weebly website to the .com url, such as one with godaddy (low cost).
