Please help... i have a tutoring service with no clients how should i appeal to them? -

i offer library use tutoring...one on one tutoring with homework, sat, and adult literacy to. i have yet to get a client. what should i do?

How are you advertising? - If you want to use a specific library, you can make fliers up and put them on the windshield of cars parked there. You can ask your local schools if they would allow you to present your curriculum to students. You could mingle at the local PTA meetings and hand out your fliers, and include other subjects that you can tutor.

I get paid 2.50 per hour babysitting 2 kids, am i being underpaid? -

It depends. Yeah you should get more but it depends how long you work. what do you do. Is it everyday or just a night or two a week? 5 dollars an hour would be the least i would take. That s two hundred a week if you do it every day and that s about what the parents would be paying a day care. If you just do it once or twice a week i would say at least 10 dollars an hour.

It depends on how old you are and whether or not the kids in question are your siblings and, if you are being paid by your parents, if thats all they can afford.

way underpaid!!!! Normal base salary is $7.50. I think you are better off working at McDonalds than baby sitting.

Um, hell yeah.

oh my god yes. it should be more like five or six an hour.

Oh god yes!!!

Yes. My sister get $10-15 an hour! then she got tips.

Working at victoria secret what open-ended questions can i ask the customers? -

i feel like im not asking the right questions. And i feel like I am upsettings my managers and I think Im going to get fired.

Introduce yourself, let the customers know about the current sales. Ask if they need help with anything. Keep a tester of your favorit lotion or something and walk around to different customers saying this is my favorite scent it s called ..... would you like a sample? Ask if they are shopping for themselves or someone else.

Well HummingBird sounds good. Furthermore if your good with reading people, you can probably weigh what they may find appealing.Can anyone help with mine?http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;

Maybe you could ask them what they are looking for? And ask them what colors do they like?Or if it is for them or is it a gift?

Hi! I m *blank*. How may I help you today? Politeness goes a long way:)

How would I go about starting an online clothing business? -

My sister and I want to start a clothing business online, but we ve never done anything like this before, so there s many things that we are unsure about. We already know what type of clothing we are going to sell and who it will target. I m planning on creating my own website and graphics as well. I guess what i m most unsure of is who I can buy the clothing from that will allow me to resell it. (I need white clothes, such as t-shirts and sweatshirts, etc.) If you ve ever done anything like this, could you please give me any information that you think will be helpful? Thank you!

.. Ok.. you better will need a plan, and market study first ... clothing business online, is very tough (alot of competition and how you would attract customers and traffic to your online, while 30%-50% of online small business deal with clothing??.. plus the big giant retailers as well ??.. My advice if you want to do it, better to get a location for a retail store to direct customers. If you decide to go for a regular retail store.. it will Depends on your location first.. (High traffic location is a must for clothing business).. what will be your specialty ?? adult / females/ males/ or everything ??.. it will cost you alot much if you get everything at once as a start.. and you would not have the nice variety for each devision you want ..If you look for specialty first , as women clothes, or men, or kids, it would be better to concentrate and make good name for your start, with less money damage if it turns out to be something else. plus the rest of the other money you would save for back-up plan, advertisment, etc....there is many places.. yet the quality, and the shipping prices will make the difference.. what you will need to think before start :-1- Location, Location, Location.............. high traffic with $5,000.00 better than away location with $1,000.00 rent, etc... 2- what will be your basic main customers ?? Young adults?? teens ?? working women ?? etc.....3- You look for everything to have at once is very bad for your budget, (Except if you have at least $150,000.00 ) yes i m serious.. You can start small (Not actually small) with $10,000 and you specified only with women trendy clothes you will have a decent collection which can cover a store of (2000 feet / 600 Meters).. Yet there is plenty of other factors as well.. and there is seasonal items and clothes, etc...... Need any help, will be more than glad.. Actually we have now pallets of (100pcs- 500pcs each) at a decent prices, as we are wholesalers and stores.. and we need to rennovate our stock each campaign (2months)..so contact me if you are interested and will send you some photo s and site access,,.. or if you only have additional questions..Good luck, and have a great day ..Source(s):Ex. manager for a chain retail stores, for more than 5 years ..

Try ebay first then start your own website or retail store.

I started out doing the same thing and have a chain now. There were MANY headaches and times I wanted to quit (it aint easy), Since you will be doing your own graphics, and want white t-shirts sweatshirts I think I know where you are going with this (you can do book bags, backpacks, totes and other stuff as well). You can contact me I will tell you a good place to start for your whites (you do not have to buy in bulk, you can pick the brands, the shipping time is 3 days max so you do not have to order until an order is placed to you). I have no relations with them other then starting out there for some of my stuff, lol so sorry cant get you better prices). I have done every aspect of both online and brick mortar stores, so can answers most questions you would have.

Hi Kelly,Any business requires some research. It helps to have a plan.Planning is key. In order to plan effectively, you must conduct some research. What do you need to provide your services? Who will you provide them to? Who are you competing against? What makes you better; gives you an edge ? How are you going to reach your prospects/potential clients? Answering these kinds of questions gives you a basis to begin a business plan. You can download my free research outline at www.abusinessmentor.comIt should certainly guide you in the right direction.Good Luck!
