What do I need to go about owning my own business? -

Im in my first year of college and I dont know what to take! I want to maybe someday own my pet store because I love animals and keeping them but i dont want to be anything like a veterinarian...How does one go about owning their ownbuisness.. are there any degrees / certificates i need... what classes should I be taking??! : ) Thanks.

LoL no you dont need degrees or certificates. Those are for people who DONT want to own their own businesses. I own a few online businesses, and my friend owns a donut shop that makes about $90,000 a year. I never went to college, and he never graduated High School. Who would we show our degrees to? Ourselves? Who would interview us for the job and ask to see our degrees? Ourselves? People who go to work for other people are the ones who need degrees. You want a pet store? Then get the money to do it, draw out a business plan on how you expect it to go and how it will be profitable, and build the business.
