Is there anyway i can be scammed over ebay? -

i buy halo 3 50s over ebay and resell them over a different site... i recently found a kid who sells 50s in very rare playlists for a very low price... the lowest ive ever seen. he has a 2/2 feedback for selling and a 5/5 for buying. we will make our transaction over paypal and i was wondering if there was any way i can get my money bak just in case he does scam me. this is an account and plz correct me if im wrong accounts fall under the paypal protection program. thank you

You are only protected if you bid thru ebay and pay via paypal. But if you do a transaction on the side without going through Ebay and pay by paypal, you wont get your money back

Yup absolutely. eBay has all the scams you can think of. The thing that sucks most is that they don t care either. Complain as you want..they are a monopoly. I suggest you try www.Bonanzle.com as they are a better site. They will eventually BOOM in a few months and eBay will be long gone.

How much does the average glass blower make a year? -

i looked into it for when i go to college and i instantly thought it was amazing and the job for me. so my question is, how much does the average glass blowing major make yearly? and i live in mass if that makes a difference. i was also looking into making glass pipes by hand, which i guess technically isn t glass blowing, but its the same idea. so would that pay any more or any less than just making vases and other things that actually use the blowing technique? thanks!!!

Not very much. And making pipes is glassblowing, if way down the respectability list (and subject to investigation on the least excuse in some states which have driven ordinary scientific glassblowers out of their state with the harassment.) There several levels of glassblowing income opportunities. Scientific glassblowers are torchworking people who normally work at university and commercial laboratories, get regular salaries, and have their own association. http://www.asgs-glass.org/ Ask them, but I would expect salaries to be in $40-70,000 range. There are almost no opportunities for employment as commercial free hand furnace glass workers as little is made in factories these days and most workers there are related to other employees. Which gets us into studio glass. Lampworkers (using the torch) usually work in small spaces without assistance and how much they make depends on skill, marketing, and attractiveness of their work. The best make sculptural quality pieces that sell through galleries. For some of the best work and discussion of techniques find Contemporary Lampworking by Bandhu Scott Dunham as here http://www.amazon.com/Contemporary-Lampw and/or visit www.hotglass.com Most furnace glass workers are in studios which either function as partnerships or are run by the owner with paid assistants or apprentices who are learning. These studios are often part time with the owner holding another job to make ends meet. The very best make lots of money with gallery quality pieces. There is a middle ground of people making production glass sold in shops and decorator pieces sold through wholesale outlets where they compete with imported stuff. Setting up and running a furnace glass studio is considerably more costly than a torch working studio. Another category from which many pipe makers come is neon tubing work, which is a form of torch work.

What permits would i have to get to hold a feild day in a local park? -

It is to raise money for the early ed and care program at my school. Like a senior project. We want to hold a feild day for the community kids but legally we need permits. but how many would i need and what are they called so i can start researching them? has anyone done this before? any advice? btw it is for kids 10 and under and because of the age we are making each parent sign a permission form when they bring their child to sign up and pay.

Your best bet is to go to your City Hall and ask them these same questions. They will tell you exactly who to talk to and where to get your required permits. They may even be available at the City Hall, where most municipal business is usually done.

I live in a city of about 18,000 people. I am interested in opening a business. Any thoughts on a type? My family and friends have recommended restuarants, ice cream palors, clothing, etc. Restuarants have alot of health and liabilities issues. What type of restuarant doesn t require kitchen hoods and grease traps?

. To start a business you must figure out how you want you business to be recognized. ( Sole Proprietor, LLC , Non- Profit , S-Corp , Or C-Corp) From their You need to register the business so You are legitimate. At that step if you want to get funding to start and don t want to use your own capitol You would need to start building Strong Business credit. Starting a flooring business...would like tips/ideas for advertising, etc.? -

if you have any other valuable tips or things that i should think about in any aspect of the business, i would appreciate them. If you know of any good excel programs for budget tracking, where to find out how much $ to withhold from employee s taxes, etc...

The best advertising is word of mouth. If the customers are impressed by your work, they will recommend you to people they know. Other means of advertising include renting booths at home improvement shows and the Yellow Pages.

Money makeing home biz? -

Anyone tell me of a genuine business work from home

You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies. You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job. These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as work at home because they would hear from too many unqualified people.

If you are thinking of working from home in your own business then there is one thing you must get clear in your head, it will be a business and will require drive and determination if it is to succeed.I work in partnership with a company that is a world leader in its field and after 10 years with them I can guarantee that their honesty integrity and ethics are second to none.I am basically an independent rep for the company which allows me time to concentrate on doing a couple of fairly simple tasks, while the company itself looks after all the day to day paperwork etc.The income opportunity is substantial and one of the beauties of the business is you can earn while you learn, because like all new ventures there is a bit to learn. If you would like to know more feel free to get in touch.Douglas

If you know correct work at home info and method, diet is easy. If you are really serious, you must have easy work at home method that works for you. I recommend you my work at home method for you. I create very good income everyday and it is very easy. You can do it too. You can get more info from link below.

I need advice!! well, and help...? -

ok so my mom was renting our house and she left some stuff of ours in there like a big tv washing machine and things like that, so they had to pay rent and well my mom waited i told her to go but nobody listens to a kid or teen and so now my mom went and they left with out paying the rent and with all our stuff what should we do? how can we figure out were they went? im so mad right now! aaaaah! please help!

They stole items from the house - that is a police matter, and your mother should contact the police and file a report. If your mom had insurance, the insurance might cover the loss of the items, so she should review the policy to see how to make a claim or to talk with her insurance agent. As for the rent, you can see if they filed a change of address notice at the post office.

If she had a contract she could take them to small claims court, all she has to do is file, and the court system will eventually find them. If she rented it with no contract, no deposit, then its a live and learn situation.

small claims court seems the best way to go and also filing a police report. best of luck

How much should I charge for babysitting? -

I am 16 years old and I have been babysitting for about 5 years. I have taken a class that deals with how to deal with children but haven t taken first aid or cpr yet. I don t want anyone telling me that I should because I know I should and I will. I just want to know what you believe I should get paid. Including how much per extra kid and anything else.

I think you should ask around (and/or ask your Mom do this) what babysitters are paid in your area. Then charge just a little bit less to make yourself marketable. You would probably need First Aid training before CPR training if you are babysitting children.

If you were younger, $5 per hour would be perfect, but because you are older and experienced, I would say 7 or 8 dollars an hour. This is good for one or two kids, but any extra money depends on the individual situation.

Internet research business issues and possible complications? -

A while back I inquired about the legalities of creating an internet research company. Ironically after doing lengthy research I am no closer to understanding the laws now than I was than. Here are my questions:1. Potential clients of mine want mostly internet links so they can look at the information themselves and print what they want, if necessary. However some want printed media sent to them. Do any of this fall under copyrigth law therefore preventing me from doing so. 2. Being a college graduate I have seen MANY graduate students and others of higher status pay runners or researchers to do the research for them. This research included mounds of copied material for reference purposes. Is what I want to do any different than what they are doing if they are getting paid for it? If so, how are they avoiding copyright infringement, the researchers I mean.My point is this...I am very talented at research and wish to use my talents for a second income, but of course doing it legally. I have networked for many potential clients and possibilities are there, but how do I do it? As many opinions as I can get would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This link will take you to a site where you can check specific information about what copyrite is.http://www.copyright.org.au/information The following is information from one of the links at that site: ....Copyright term, duration, expiry, public domain.April 2009This information is for general guidance only; it is not legal advice. For most material, copyright lasts for 70 years after the end of the year of the creators death, or 70 years from the end of the year the material was first made public. Material protected for 70 years after first publication includes works first published anonymously or under a pseudonym (where the author cannot be identified), works first published after the creators death, recorded sounds, and films made since 1 May 1969. There are shorter periods of protection (50 years from making or 50 years from first publication) for material made for, or first published by, a Commonwealth or State government department or agency. If the author died before 1955, however, the copyrights in works published in the authors lifetime have expired. This is because the copyrights had already expired when the copyright periods were extended on 1 January 2005, and there was no revival of copyrights which had already expired.Copyright expires at the end of a year, and comes into the public domain on 1 January of the following year. If a writer died on 15 June 1960, for example, copyright will expire on 1 January 2031 (not on 16 June 2030)....
