Where Can I Create Custom T-Shirts for Business Online? -

I d like to know some good websites that let you create custom T-Shirts for your business for less than 20$.

use a local screen printing shop - and plan on buying probably at least 3-4 dozen of each design ata time or your costs will be too high - if you try buying shirts like that over the internet you will pay more than at a local screen printer to begin with PLUS you ll have to pay shipping, you will never be able to resell them for a profit - your costs will be too highand I doubt you will sell many T-shirts for $10 - not when Walmarts sells lots of different pre-designed nice slogan/design T-shirts for $8-12 each

Check out 10ShirtsFor99.com They do FULL COLOR printing on the front, back, sides and sleeves with NO SCREEN CHARGE. They have lots of options and upgrades. Including an option for 1 shirt. There is even an option to get the 1 shirt free. http://www.10ShirtsFor99.com They also do single shirt drop-shipping at http://www.PrintOnDemandShirts.com

Hi i think you can get your custom t-shirts from any production facility directly, who have no restriction in doing minimum qtywe are also doing same things for some shop keepers and are charging from 12-18 US$Rgdsthiscans@yahoo.com

How can I sell stuff on amazon?? Im selling textbook on ebay and i noticed that when I do a search? -

for the book on amazon all these sellers come up selling the book used.. how can I sell on amazon too? or as an ebay seller does it automatically come up on amazon or something??

try going here: it has information about selling on amazonhttp://www.amazonservices.com/content/sell-on-amazon.htm?ld=AZFSSOA

Hi TomAmazon and Ebay are not the only places you can sell your textbooks. These websites are annoying in terms of sign up and I didn t have any patience to go through them.I recently tried out bookbyte and their service is great. Give it a try and you will be happy that you did. I have given you the link that I used and along with a brief of my experience with them which was great. The bookbyte website gives you an instant quotation on your used textbooks based on your self assessment of the quality. You will find that the rates are among the best offered anywhere. Once you are satisfied with the rates, all you have to do is to enter your shipping information and they will email you a shipping label.Just pack your textbooks in a mailer and attach the shipping label and mail them for free. They will pay you the cash they quoted within 5 days of you sending the books. You can get the money either through check or paypal and it works out really convenient. You can also send more than one book.http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-3662274-10368767I tried it and was really happy with the service. It is hassle free and the money is quick and was helpful for me in these tough times.

How to make an eBay auction for one specific person and keep others from bidding? -

I m trying to sell an item to a person, but we want to do it on eBay for protection and I need help on how to make the auction invisible to other people. How would one go about in doing this?

That isn t an auction, it s called selling someone something .

Both of you must have valid Pay Pal accounts*you both must have valid bank accounts, and get the accounts activated completely before any transactions take place. You as the seller need to see how long after they pay it takes to actually get your hands on the cash, and the amount of fees and how the fee structure is set up, as well as set up the Ebay account for a seller. Make sure you sell with delivery confirmation, so you can track, that the post man delieverd it, thats like .75 cents, but you must use a certain type of shipping, call the post office to ask. But do the delievery confirmation, many people claim they didnt recieve the item, adn your both protected this way, you that you actually sent it, and them that they got it. List the ad in the weird section they have, look at the homepage and scroll down the list of catagories to the see all catagories and pick one of the weird sections.

So you don t want to get a higher price for the item if someone else is willing to pay more? If you try ending the auction just after that person bids, you d better hope that the transaction goes smoothly as if your buyer has an issue then eBay is not so green at the auction business that they won t realize what you ve done. That person could end your eBay business if they are not satisfied and complain.

As your the seller you can place the item on sale and tell the purchaser the exact time and make it a buy it now option. Its possible that someone could still bid on it, but maybe you could do it when your both in the same place. Putting it up for auction and selling it instantly. Good Luck!

You could put a Buy it Now price on it. I assume you have a price in mind. But someone could come and buy it first. You could do an auction with your agreed upon price and then end the auction early. Select the option to sell to the bidder at the last auction price. That s probably your best bet.

I don t think that s possible. It would defeat the whole premise of what eBay is and does.If your buyer wants eBay protection, tell him to bid the amount agreed to and set you reserve price similarly. If no one outbid him, the merchandise is his. If he s outbid, well it s his own damn fault.

jana is correct. that s what to doand inform your Buyer when you will list itTotally legit to do it this way with ebay and you will both have protection (so long as you send recorded/special delivery-as with all transaction that need protection)

Try using the company Etsy.comIt is much like Ebay but there is a feature called Alchemy where you can request a custom item. That would work...I sell on it and love it....Website:http://www.etsy.comMy shop:http://www.etsy.com/shop/Hischild

you cant, you can do a buy it now, tell the guy who wants it and hope for the best. you can revoke the item if another person buys it but you cannot make an item invisible

illegaljust use palpal for the money transfer and the seller gets all the protection, he needs.

immpossible

pay alot

Why would anyone even bother with a small business during a recession? -

I don t know a lot about business, but I was just wondering what lead people to believe they re going to be successful..The example I m going to use is some family opened a pool hall last December down the street from me. Then they closed this past August. I was just wondering how long would it take to get a lease or rent on a place like that and maybe they planned ahead before times were less rough. My town needed a pool hall like it needs a hole in the head. Now me and my family were boggled because we knew it wasn t going to last. Just kind of a what were they thinking? kinda thing. I do feel bad they didn t succeed, but people have to be smarter than that. and what kind of business WOULD be successful in a small town?Small town as in, biggest thing we have = McDonalds Rite Aid

People start small businesses because they have to start somewhere and there is always money to be made. Sure its a lot more difficult in a recession, but if your starting out you have an advantage over businesses that are half bankruptPeople think they are going to be successful normally because they believe they have a good idea. Even though you say your town didn t need a pool hall (im not even sure what that is) probably the main reason the business failed was that the idea the family had was poorly implemented. In a small town you cant run large businesses because they require lots of cutomers. For this reason large businesses often overlook small towns. Accordingly, there is money to be made in offering such services as hardware stores, supermarkets and convenience stores. Also, whats a Rite Aid?

It s the best time to start a business. There s more opportunity when things fall apart than when everything is running smoothly. Many small businesses fail regardless of when they re started. Sometimes it takes getting fired or layed-off to get the motivation to start something. There s no bad time to try when you have nothing to lose.

actually they were smart everyone likes some rec time they probably were pursuing a dream dosent make them dumb personally i think your dumb for knocking them especially if you are not a biz owner yourself it takes alot of work to set up a biz people like yourself are quick to judge but i doubt you make 100k a year

It like any type of business whether large, small, home or online. If you can find a niche that s not be satisfied by other businesses, go for it after doing sufficient research to ensure its viable

Is there a specific business term for quot;setting different prices based upon location of the storequot;? -

first of all, I wonder if there s any specific terms for setting different prices of the same product based upon the location and rental cost of the store. also, if anyone can list out the advantages and disadvantages for using such pricing method. For example, if a bagel shop plans to set higher prices for its bagels in stores with a higher rental cost; and lower prices for the same type of bagels in the suburban areas, what would be some pros and cons for this action that people can argue?what I have so far is that: it s not an good idea to set different prices because it will lose customers since people expect to be treated fairly regardless of where they live.

Hi NazoGirl Each store can set it s own price according to factors specific to that location for example higher or lower overhead (rent payroll, property taxes etc). If the locations are close together, customers will soon discover the price difference and may react by gravitating to the location with lower prices. Placing a sign in each store advising customers that your prices vary by location is wise. You might consider averaging the retail price by taking the overhead of the total operation as your base for adding markup. Finally, it is not uncommon for retaiI chains to price merchandise in high rent locations higher. An office worker in an office tower in downtown Toronto likely understands that a bagel in the work place is more costly to buy than at the neighborhood store in a Pickering Plaza where they live. If they like the product, they will likely pay a premium for the convenience of having access at work. I hope this is helpfulFred Norman

Differential pricing or price discrimination

Price Discrimination - as it is charging a higher price for the same product, and discriminating by location.

It s called marketing.

Business studies coursework: Opening own business - need help with pricing strategies? -

I have decided that I will add a fixed percentage to the wholesale price of my products that I will sell, and I was wondering what a sensible percentage would be. I m selling Wedding and Prom dresses so they are expensive products:) x

you need to base your percentage onyour cost + decent margin could be up to 5%

you need to work out what your costs will be (not including the products). Then work out what you expect to sell in a given time period and proportion the costs to that period.so say you costs are 500 a month and you expect to sell 2-3 dresses which costs 300 each. for 2 dresses to sell, the total cost would be 500 + 600 = 1100 therefore you would need to add on at least 250 (2 x 250 = 500 costs) margin per dress in order to break even.If you sell 10 dresses, then costs + product cost = 3500 , to break even you would have to sell the dresses at 350 each which is a 50 margin obviously the fixed cost of 500 a month wont change and if you expect to sell a lot more dresses a month then you can bring the margin down to a more acceptable level. the main thing to work out is the costs and the number of dresses you expect to sell and obviously how much profit you wish to make and add this on top.

It also depends on what prices your competitors charge. So you need to consider the cost, margin and competition.
