Can I sell my client list if I am relocating my business, but not closing my doors? -

I am a licensed massage therapist and I have relocated my business 30 miles from my prior location. I was considering selling my client list, but I can only find information regarding selling a client list if I am going out of business entirely, not just relocating. Also, I cannot guarantee the current accuracy of some of the names and addresses. I cannot guarantee that the new therapist will even get any business from my lists. Could they take legal action if they feel that they didn t get their money s worth?

Well for that you should see http://biznuss.neti hope that resolve your problem keep using answers.yahoo.com

your clients may not want their names given to a stranger - you should check with everyone of then and tell them you are relocating and would they object to you selling their name to another therapist - YOU are the product and without YOU, there really is nothing to sell in your type of business - the customers like YOU giving them the treatments - you just can t expect them to automatically go to whoever you sell the list to without them knowing that personif you sold the list or $x per name and the buyer was only able to get 25% of those people as clients, I m sure they would want a refund of the other 75% they spentif you know another MT that you are comfortable with, maybe you could make an arrangement with them to recommend your clients to them and IF any become new clients, the new MT would pay you a referral fee (you two have to agree on an amount) - that way they are not out any money up front and if they wind up adding any of your old clients - you both win

you can find it in tools on this website http://infobusiness2.notlong.com/1AAs5Gi
