You need to advertise. Here are some ways of doing that.Hand out flyers.Newspaper ads.Tv ads.Radio ads.Internet ads/pop ups.Telemarketing.Or just talk to anyone that seems interested anywhere, to try and get a sale.You could also put your merchandise up on websites like Amazon or Ebay which already have sufficient traffic to get you the customer base you need. Since you are just now beginning you need to get your brand name out there, try to get people to associate your brand with something of quality, reliability, and uniqueness.

Build up your traffic. Advertise on free ads sites. Also try to do what internet marketers would - work at it.

That depends on your town. A second hand store might work, but you need a larger population to be successful. Are you thinking of opening a pawn shop type business, a clothing exchange, or some other type of second hand store?A pawn shop is not a business for beginners to jump into. It depends on how populous your area is and how many of the item you want they plan to have in stock. Usually, the local flier will say Limit 5 per store on big ticket items like TVs. If that is they case, you want to be serious about getting there early. The older generation takes Black Friday seriously and tend to wake up earlier anyway. When the Playstation 2 came out and our Wal-mart was getting a shipment of only 20 for Black Friday, my mother-in-law got there at 4 am and was still about the 25th person in line.

Some people start camping out from the night before if they know s there s a very particular bargain they want to pick up. I d definitely get there by about 3 in the morning. Depending on when Target opens I would say probably no later than 3 a.m. One year my sister and I wanted a TV for our dad. We got to Target at about 3:30 a.m. and there was already a huge line. By the time we pushed ourselves to the Electronics department all of the TV s we wanted were sold out. To add to the story my sister got pushed over by a cart and broke her ankle. No one would let us through because of the chaos. FYI the emergency room is one of the only dead places at 5:00 a.m. on black Friday. Since there are four of you, I would say as soon as you get in the store split up. Each person should take a different route to the electronics department. My next door neighbor works at Best Buy and told me that people usually get there around 6pm the night before. I m going this year, and I m planning on going around 4pm.The last time I waited out at Circuit City I got there around 10pm, and would have had my laptop but the people in the front of the line had so many of their friends cut in line later in the morning that I got pushed from like 10th in line to 20+ and didn t get it.Thus, don t go to the stores it s to crazy you waste hours in line, just shop online, they have the same deals without the crowds, just have a look at the following link:http://www.gameyeeeah.com

Not sure when they open but guessing 6 or 7 am. So... 1 - 2 hours before will probably get you there. If they are 24 hour and they begin at midnight, then the store wouldn t actually close... so not sure how they d handle that.

Just an FYI Doors open at 5AMLast Year I went and we got there an hour before they opened and there were like 10 people back and some people get out of line to leave...

You can patent an idea with out a working model, but you must be able to describe how it works, so that someone reading your patent, could actually create your device or service, with out having to innovate new science or processes.For example, if you had an idea for rocket boots, you could not patent it unless you could clearly describe how it would work, so that anyone reading the patent could create it with out having to innovate new science or processes. However, if your idea is a new type of social networking website, and you know how it should work, but not how to program, then you can certainly patent it with enough detail, and then have developers work on it once your granted the patent.

LLC is usually the best option for the type of business you are talking about. You could incorporate, but that is a huge pain in the butt to deal with: another level of tax reporting (though not taxes, if you are a Sub-Chapter S corp.), reporting to the state, state excise taxes, annual report filing fees, etc. etc. Sub-S status does have some advantages, though. For instance, as long as you pay yourself a reasonable salary for your work (you need to be on payroll if you have a corp, you don t just take draws) then anything left over at the end of the year does not get the double self-employment tax; it just gets taxed at your income tax rate. Also, since you are an employee of the corp, you can lay yourself off if business gets bad and get unemployment compensation. States usually have stricter standards when an owner/manager of a Sub-S corp lays himself off, but if it is legitimate you should have no problem. I am not sure the extra bother and expense is worth it unless you are a very seasonal business and expect to lay yourself off every year (like if you live in a resort area of some kind.) An LLC gives you the same level of liability protection that a corporation does, without all the corporate paperwork and (sometimes) the state fees. Keep in mind, though, that neither the LLC or a corporation will be able to get a loan without you co-signing for it, and anything that you personally do that is fraudulent or illegal will still attach liability to you. If you have any questions about this, I would get in touch with a lawyer. Keep in mind, though, that lawyers tend to like corporations for some reason. I think they like to make money writing up articles of incorporation and doing your filings.

I ran a small business for many years and kept my books on excel. It s pretty easy to build simple spreadsheets because you can make columns any with you want and you can highlight down and add total columns. You can also create formulas in a more complicated fashion that changes the totals in several columns when a number is added or subtracted. Play around with it for a while you ll get the hang of it. Also you can ask someone who knows the program for help.

For conventional drug development, there is a lengthy process of clinical trials, for starters, that the product would have to survive. Guess that GMO s would be similar. You would have to convince a R D Company that your concept is credible. Without providing research data, you would not even get off the ground. Finance is also a big factor. FDA are the Lords and Masters who give the thumbs up or down, after thorough scrutiny.
