About music and business? -

a friend invited me to join a multi-level marketing.. it looks promising though but its really not my line, im a musician and an artist that s why. tell me, is it wrong to pursue my dreams instead of earning much money? im not saying that i cant make money in my career but its much easier and faster to earn money in business. so guys can u tell me what should i do? will i chase my passion rather that earning much money?

I never met anyone personally that decided they would save up money doing something safe and get around to their dreams later that actually made it. Just my $.02 but you only live once.

Can I put business in siblings name, to protect it in case of divorce? -

My husband and I have a very rocky marriage and I never know what to expect of him. I hope to avoid divorce, who doesn t but if it were ever to come to that can I put my business in a siblings or friends name to protect it in case of divorce?? I want to start a business and if I register it all under someone else and I will be the employee even though I will be running it, is that ok? Or can my husband take this to court? Btw the other person will be running the business with me, so technically I am not doing anything illegal right?

Do you live in a community property state?- Can you register your business to your name, a married person, as your separate estate?- Can you have your husband sign a quit claim to any interest in the business now?Whoever the business is registered to is responsible to pay the taxes etc on the business and owns it.Either it is you or not, but if you try to hide assets then lose them to the other person, don t whine about it.Your husband can take anything he thinks he knows to court. If he believes the ownership to be a front, he can certainly raise that you would have to spend time and legal fees to prove otherwise.Why not get the divorce then open your business? If that is not an option just open the business under your name as you intend to run it if you become a multi millionaire, use it to pay off your dear husband to leave.

OK I have an opportunity to purchase an established business, but I ned investors quick, any suggestions? -

Established business, just need to find someone for either a grant or business loan to be paid off in about 6-7 years, any suggestions would be appreciated but need it soon, he wants to see to me or a broker!!

Being able to spell the word need might help your quest. If you want to impress prospective investors, you cannot afford to be so sloppy.Get a business plan and speak to the bank first.

Definitely contact a financial advisor. But first, see if he ll give the numbers of people who use him and would recommend him. My parents got around that much from a lawsuit and now make about $300,000 a year by having opened up two coffee shops. And yes, please tell how you got that? I m pretty curious.

You might want to contact an investor to help you with that kind of money.If you don t mind me asking; how did you get the $200k?

What is a good name for my company? -

I am starting a small photography business. I take unique, artsy, professional grade portraits and senior pictures. I specialize in kids and seniors. My signature is kinda the candid pictures of kids that can still be used as Christmas cards/school pictures/ect. I need a unique name. My last name is Johnson. It s possible to incorporate that.
