im looking into opening my own small business in QLD.. Im an apprentice tattooist.. Ive got contacts who are willing to work for me but also train me at the same time. Is this possible? Also (even if its not possible) where do you start? Where does the business plan come into it? Im starting my research and ive booked myself in to see some advisors. Good idea, but you ll need some knowledge of the business. I d suggest you do a bit of research to find out what existing security companies charge and for what service level agreement. Your Security personnel will need to be screened and have passed the relevant security City Guilds certification, if your staff work on railway stations/depots or sites they will need to hold a current track safety certificate. Proper training of staff and proper procedure in brewing the coffee. Starbucks dumps old coffee and brew new ones, and most specialty drinks are mixed by hand by request. No shortcuts, leaving old coffee on, and so on. Everything is squeaky clean, and cleaned very often.
