I make an extra income working from home with a debt-free wellness company and I love it! This company has a bit everything you and I use in our homes every day...everything from housecleaning products to bath and body to health and wellness! You don t actually go sell the products, just simply refer others to the business/company. There s NO product selling, purchasing inventory, or going door to door. When you get started, you get a free website, free training, and ongoing support! This team is AMAZING to work with! This month there s an awesome promotion going on until the 23rd...only $1 to get started (normally $29)! If you d like more info, jot me an email and I ll get back with you so we can go over the details!

sell jewelry from this site, take a look at there images and prices. Then stick them on ebay and wait for the money to come rolling in. The jewelry they sell is heavy high quality that is in global demand.

How do you become a independent contract employee? -

Currently I am working as a design engineer for a medium sized company. I am looking to go independent and charge the company a simple flat hourly rate. I feel that I would be entitled to ask for more money than I currently get paid considering the fact that I would no longer be under their health and unemployment insurance. I m wondering what are the steps I need to be looking at in order to do this, and what are some convincing arguments for my case that I can present to my company.

Hello there,Either I am confused about this or you are. There is not such thing as an independent contract employee. You are either independent or you are an employee. You cannot be both.If you are an employee, you simply cannot decide to change the name of your status. If the underlying relationship is not changed, no matter what you call it and no matter what documents you write, you will be held to still be an employee. In short, an employee has not profit motive. They must work according to the employers rules. In contrast, an independent contractor has a profit motive. He may or may not make a profit on any particular job, but the notion of a profit must be present. An independent contractor is not subject to the rules of an employer. He has a defined project and completes that project according to the job specifications. To get a good idea of the sort of things that must change in your relationship with your present employer study the tests determining whether someone is an independent contractor or an employee provided by the IRS. You can find that on their website. Other government agencies have different standards, but the IRS standards is a good starting point. To sell this idea to your employer, you will have to explain to them why the proposal will provide financial rewards to them. If there is not benefit to the employer why should they make a change.Later,

you would not be an employee anymore - you would be self employedyou will then have to pay for 100% of your own health insurance and have to pay the employer s share of FICA insurance also - and if they terminate your contract or cut your billable hours you will NOT be eligible for unemployment - only employees get unemployment and in this economy, why would the company pay you more money? it makes no sense for the COMPANY to do thatbad idea all the way around. be thankful you a job. period. I can t imagine there are a lot of job openings in your particular line of work

Steps are simple. Just form your own business (business licenses are issued by your city or county)Then, buy general liability insurance for your business (everybody requires it)As for convincing them to pay you as an independent contractor, you will need to find several clients. Otherwise the IRS will consider you a dependent contractor and the employer will be liable for taxes. (Your employer knows this, so you have to have other clients or you re going nowhere with this.)

Get as much resource as you can maybe is one option, however it could be quite time consuming, here http://www.HealthInsuranceFree.infois one resource i have had good experience.

My husband wants to start a handyman business. What kind of bond do most handymen get? -

I ve heard that it s not required to be bonded in Illinois, but it s a good idea, because it helps customers to feel more comfortable hiring handymen. What kind of bond should he get? Are there websites to compare fees?

I run a pressure washing company. We are not bonded. We do carry liability insurance, and I strongly suggest you get it as well. Typically bonding is only for people who will be working inside someones home when they may not be home. Professions like maids services and other domestic services need to be bonded. I m not sure bonding will be that significant of selling point to make it worth the money. In 5 years, I have Never been asked if we were bonded.Good Luck.

When you are starting a new business, it is always best to keep your expenses as low as possible! I doubt the majority of people will even ask if he is bonded. Just start the company and get bonded when you have some cash.

A job Performance bond and a security bond.

What can i put on flyers so they dont go straight to the garbage? -

what can i put on flyers so they dont go straight to the garbage,im advertising cleaning and the flyers have been good but in hard economyits not so easy to get contracts this is for cleaning stairways, halls in apartment buildings and im brainstorming what other i can print on them so people keep them

You should get information on writing ad copy. Use plenty of headlines. The headlines should ask questions and provoke the buyer to solve a problem. They should spark curiosity. I would also be inclined to say that placing random flyers about a cleaning service is not a very targeted marketing approach. Are those people parking at Wal-Mart actually looking for a cleaning service? Likely not.You should consider posting to Craigslist. Both me and my fiance have had great success with Craigslist. People are actually looking for cleaning services, etc., so you have a built-in audience.I purchased a marketing package for my business- 17 e-books- that included books on making Craigslist ads as well as headline and ad copy. I am not trying to sell it to you, but if you want to look my address is http://www.soaringsquirreltail.com

You need to have them professionally designed! When they look like garbage, they end up going into the garbage! I m a graphic designer, so I understand the importance of this (I work for a club and restaurant). You can also go to a professional printing company, we use Reduced Printing. They do have a staff of graphic designers that can help you design and print the flyers. Also, if you get them UV Coated, they won t get ruined if it rains.http://reducedprinting.com/product/info/

How much should i charge per hour for babysitting two children ages 6 and 8? -

I am 14 years old, i live in a small town in new mexico and it is my first time babysitting... i have been asked to babysit 2 children ages 6 and 8, both girls... i have no idea what to charge, i need a per hour price, and it will most likely be for a couple hours... i will probably not have to cook but will feed them dinner and put them to bed. also i can not drive but will get a ride from my parents.

$8, $4 for each child is reasonable. and I think paying $16 for two hours for two kids is pretty much a bargain considering daycare costs these days.

8-10 is a good price. depends how much you need the money and if you know these people well

i say 5-8 $ an hour is resonable

How does this question relate to owning/starting/running a Small Business?

What can my friend do when a contractor did not do the job? -

my friend received a settlement from the government and she decide to upgrade her home after having made a choice from many she decide to go with a contractor she has receipts, canceled check, and a contract for the job to be done well the contractor did not show up he has done many jobs through the neighborhood and had references she gave him a large deposit to start but never showed up there is any thing that she can do beside getting him hurt because she is on a fixed income and can not afford a lawyer

Your friend should be able to file a lawsuit in small claims court as long as the amount in dispute is under 10,000 dollars. Small claims court is designed for people and situations where using a lawyer would be to expensive or not possible. Where I am from it is actually discourage by the court for either party to hire a lawyer. Your friend should go to the local court and ask for paperwork to file the claim. She will need to know the name and address (at a minimum) in order to get the paperwork served to the contractor. They will set a court date and the contractor has to show up or he loses and if he shows up and loses then the court should be able to give collection options to your friend. I believe she can even file the claim for more than the down payment for the cost of the hassle and paperwork, etc. So check that out. If the value is higher than 10 grand then your friend might want to talk to a lawyer about representing her and payment to be made out of recovered money. If your friend really does have a case and the lawyer sees that they will likely get paid from that I m sure it would work out.

Call the police and file and report for theft.
