Can I sell things via a blog? -

I have books, records, cd s, magazines etc...which I occasionally sell on e-bay. Is there any reason why I can t set up my own blog...listing my items for sale...and selling them that way? Obviously it wouldn t be a bidding site...but I could just list all my items with selling price...and delete them as they sell. Any opinions and/or advice would be gratefully received. :)

Sounds like a great idea, but the only problem is that you must know how to drive traffic or else no one will ever visit your site. Plus, you have to have a lot of inventory in order to support a site and keep people coming back. Good Luck!

As you already have the items on ebay, would you do better to use your blog to promote those items with pictures of the items and links to ebay? I use my blog to promote my goods from my website. www.heritagepolish.blogspot.com shows you what I mean.

Hi,I am a web developer (usually working freelance) I am in the process of setting up a partnership. If you would like an extremely good e-commerce site feel free to get in touch. This would be better than a blog.MSN: support@hostitlocal.co.uk

How do i make an item available for buy now on eBay? -

i have an item on auction but would also like to have able to buy it now

If it has any bids on it, it s probably too late. If there are no bids, you should be able to edit the auction and set a buy now price. When you add an item, there will be an option to set a buy now price. Once you set the price it will automatically be included in your auction. Also, you can require immediate payment for but it now purchases. This is sometimes a good idea if you experience many dead beat bidders.

How much does it cost to purchase and maintain a toll free number? -

a. How much is the initial price of a REGULAR toll free number?b. How much is the initial price of a VANITY toll free number?c. How much do I have to pay for the service each month or does it deduct as a prepaid phone?Trying to go lie with one Sunday so any and all info is helpful.

(a) You can find services that offer free trials and no activation fees to get setup.(b) Usually around $30 one-time to setup.(c) Service typically starts at about $10 per month + the cost of the toll-free usage. So your billed per minute each time someone connects to your toll-free number. So your monthly bill will likely vary depending on your call usage.Toll-free numbers are much more affordable than most people expect. Many web-based services offer a toll-free number in combination with other features that make it appear to the caller that their calling a large, established company. For example, your toll-free number can be configured to be answered by an automated attendant Thank you for calling ABC Company, for sales press 1, if your an existing customer, press 2... This better qualifies caller s before they are forwarded to you or others in your company.

It all depends upon what company you go with. Check out some of the search results for the company I am with below. I do not have an 800 number, but info about their offering of that is included below. I have found them(CC) to be good service for a VERY reasonable rate. There are search results from many other companies also available.

There are many companies that offer 800 numbers. Just do a quick search for them online, they really vary in prices. One thing you need o be aware of is that in addition to a flat monthly fee you will also need to pay per minute charges.

Parcelforce, do i have to sign to receive an item even if it is small enough to fit through the door? -

It depends upon whether or not the sender specified if a signature is required.

UPS absolutely never have me sign anything. They ring my doorbell, the dogs go crazy and I have a box of Medical Supplies delivered from them every month placed in the same place every time! Never do they make me sign anything.

i think so if its pretty big

How to start hotel business? -

Enter more detail here (Optional)

Start by learning the real estate market in your area. Go out and check out places that are for sale. Look at hotels...when you see a educated deal...then you can act...knowing the bank will see it as a deal also..this helps you getting by with a low down payment. So, in summary, really become an expert of the market when it comes to sales prices on hotels..know what you will get for a certain price..sometimes the worst building..in the best area..can lead to a fix up job via some construction..if you can hire contractors to improve the topic place...and make money off of the contrators..is the key...Sometimes, in the United States people can often make 20-30% off the construction of hotels, etc. ( They know the market..what kinda improvements make the most money..like changing fixtures ( Light/water.) etc.

Please give me your opinion? -

Which career have brighter future and make more money in the long run?Working in real estate agent as sales and later on opening your own real estate business OR starting a convenience store (selling newspaper, cigarette, key cut, watch repair, food, drinks, magazine etc)?

Depending on the market you are thin king of, your specific location and the maturity and sophistication of your environment, both are good prospects. Though, the real estate piece would propel you faster towards wealth creation. At the moment, the real estate market is soft ... and should be in the foreseable future (5 to 10 years). So how about starting off by being a sales agent, build up your savings and then open the conveniece store while still working. Review your progress there and then maybe as the real estate market picks up you can decide to open your own office. Where is your passion at?
