Raw materials and goods in process should eventually end up being finished goods so they are ok. However, it is important to reduce inventory-hold because products not sold that are stocked in the shelves or warehouses are costing money. Goods unsold equal capital that is just lying around.

I think anything in retail would be risky right now. With the current downturn in the economy, competition is fierce. There are ways to earn money online which only require an hour or two per day but they require persistence, focus, and patience.A program I m doing now is free to sign up and has different components that you can join or not join if you choose.
