Can I tell a supply house not to sell to another company or I will stop buying from them? -

I am an HVAC contractor and buy over $1.5 million a year from one of my supply houses. I had a guy that used to work for me quite and open his own company taking part of my service work with him. Now he is sticking his nose in one of my supply houses trying to get my pricing on equipment since he knows what mine was while he worked for me. He hasn t been working with the supply house since 1971 like I have and buys maybe one system a month. I am pretty sure they have given it to him with the hard economic times. Why should he get the pricing that I worked and struggled to get for so long? I will not lie I am the largest HVAC company in my area and haven t been hit that hard by the economy. I know most of you will say competition is good, well I outlasted some of the worst and cheapest guys in town to get my name as golden as it is and I will not let this little wimp ruin it. I have already been asked several times where he is, all thinking he was the owner and shared my last name. I pretty much want to run him out of town, if I come across somebody that has a bid from him I will purposely undercut him by $600 to $800 just to get him out of here. My wife and I argue over this constantly she seems to think I need to let it go, what about you guys.

The simplest way is to keep a folder with all the invoices/till receipts for items you ve bought and another one for the invoices you ve raised for your customers. In addition, use Excel to keep track of what s coming in and going out so that you can see how you re doing weekly/monthly/yearly.Even if you trade enough to be VAT registered (or you opt for voluntary regulation) you can still use your Excel spreadsheet to do your VAT calculations for your return. separate folders for bills (goods purchased), separate ring pull folders for different monthly/quarterly bills, such as bank telephone, credit card, etc, keep a profit and loss account on excel, it makes life easy for you, accountants like it as well.

I would suggest using Microsoft Access but also print off copies just in case you lose the ones on the computer. Use separate folders for the printed copies

Don t accept checks, just do cash or money order,people can stop payment on checks.Are the bracelets $200 each? If so most people want pay that much for something that is not from a store. They want to be able to return it, and sounds like they can t with you.Good luck in the business. Why not try going to small jewelry stores and see if they will consign some for you.

You can get mailers from the Post Office, but I wouldn t recommend it for video games. In fact, I wouldn t recommend shipping a video game in a box because the weight of the box will make the price of shipping go up.With a bubble mailer, using USPS First Class Mail, the cost of shipping, pretty much anywhere in the US, shouldn t be more than about $2.41 (if you print postage from home. I don t know of any that are legit. A legit one wouldn t really be advertising online, because there would be more people wanting the job than there would be jobs available. If they actually were advertising the job they would have very strict criteria for the people they hire.
