Are pawn shops considered lower-class? -

Hi i have driven up and down my small town main street many times and seen this little hidden pawn shop and wandered what could be in it. like Special weapons and generally cool stuff. stuff that isn t normally sold in my area. but i have been to embarrassed to visit my local pawn shop in case a friend or someone i know might see me there. so my question is, is it considered lower-class to be in a pawn shop? and is there anything of interest in there or just a bunch of old computers, a rifle, and some old Indian action figures?thanks

Mostly you will find other peoples old junk. But, there can be cool things, especially if you like old stuff. They are low class, and usually in neighborhoods you do not want to be in after dark.

Listen man, even thought pawn shop doesnt sell the newest or the most luxury product it doesnt mean its low class and get embarased to be in it. Business is a business. those people gotta eat. A good pawn shop earns $100,000 plus per annum. They sell all kind off thing, jewelery, electronics etc

Which name do you like most for my company? -

small business importing designer diaper bags and accessories...a. LullabyJaneb. Style Icing

A, Lullaby Jane. It has a nice personal touch to it.

Lullaby Jane is much better than the second option. Style Icing says nothing about babies, and the ice in Icing sounds cold, brittle - not warm and fuzzy. You want a name that consumers can resonate to, and will in some way associate with babies, and a lullaby falls into that category, although it makes me think more of sleepwear and cradles than diapers. Maybe look for a third option.

Definitely LullabyJane! It gives an indication of what type of merchandise you are selling since lullabyes are usually linked to babies. Good luck with your business, it sounds like a great idea!

I think LullabyJane would be best because if you name it Style Icing people might think it has cosmetics and assesories in it. Also LullabyJane is really cute!

Tips for new business? -

What kind of artwork should I have around the workplace? It s a 9000 sq. ft. building with some big open rooms and some smaller personal offices. I ll be furnishing the big open rooms, reception area, and the main offices (mine and VP)What kind of artwork will be good for the walls etc?

It really depends on the overall decor of your office. If it s modern, I d go with modern art. If your decor is more traditional... you get the idea. But whatever you do, DON T put up those motivational type posters like the kind you get from Successories. Those are just lame beyond belief!!!

How do assets keep a business running? -

Give long descriptions and details, please. Thanks =)

Assets are what a business owns, so machinery, premises or raw materials. Without assets a business cannot meet demand as it cannot produce a product without machinery or raw materials. Without a ppremisesthere is no where for a business to produce a product either. Assets can also be sold when inflation decreases so a profit can be made.

Large non-depreciating assets such as land can also be used as collatoral for loans if they are owned. This gives a company access to additional cash or leverage if needed.

How can i get a contractors license just for concrete work? -

You don t say what state so I can t be specific. Contact the state agency that issues the license. You will need to have insurance and a bond. To get a bond, you usually have to own real property or have someone who does guarantee it for you.

How do i make sure im remembered when im turning in an application? -

I ve been looking for a job at fast food restaurants and other small businesses and every time I turn in an application I never get anything back. Does anybody have any tips to leave an impression on them?

Ask to speak to the manager and turn it in to them PERSONALLY, say sir or ma am , POLITNESS goes aloooonnnnnggggg way.If that doesnt work SLAP the manager lol j/k about the last part.

How are you dressed when they see you? Hygene? Wear a nice shirt..no Tshirts and decent pants. Act enthusiastic about working there. Don t ask questions about pay, time off what the job will do for you. Show them what you will do for THEM. Give some references of adults who know your work ethic. teachers who like you. Neighbors. Friends of your parents. A couple days after turning in the application, call the hiring person and espress your interest in the job. Remember the enthusiasim..Ask them again to consider you. Do they have any questions about your app? If you talk to them a few times about the job they will remember you.Good luck

Remember, most businesses may get dozens of apps a day, week or month. Make sure you are dressed nice and well groomed. Walk with confidence and speak clearly. Practice what you are going to say. Know something about the company where you intend on putting in applications. Check out this FREE e-book called Success Tips 101 - In the workplace www.yourebook.netMark

Are you well groomed ,hair neat and short, clothes clean. Do you have clear writing? Next time before handing in an application get one of your teachers or parents to look at it. They can tell you what your doing wrong. Good Luck.

something is wrong with ur application- dont meet their requirements?

First show is at 12:15 PM. That is assuming you are from Montgomery, Texas (as your profile says) and you are asking about the Grand Theater in Conroy, which appears to be the nearest one. You can get all the showtimes from Yahoo Movies.

What in the world are you talking about? Do you have any idea how many places there are in the world known as the Grand Theater ? You at least should tell us what STATE or even COUNTRY you re in!
