What kind of business should i make? -

I have to make up a business for my careers class. i m not sure what i should do. Any ideas? im a freshman.

Keep it simple. Sell a simple service that doesn t require a lot of overhead and where your employees can be independent contractors. When I was your age I started an entertainment booking business. I signed up clowns, magicians, etc. and booked them for parties. You run ads in local classifieds and make sure you distribute cards at any events they do. Also volunteer for any street fairs or other local events to raise awareness for your business. You charge a deposit, say $75 for a 1 hour show and then the talent accepts the balance of $75 when they arrive. You keep the deposit and the talent keeps the last $75. Clean and simple.

What kind of living or salary can you make as a hairdresser? -

I have a bachelor s degree but I feel like to become a hairdresser..I think the average salary is from around $20 to $35 grand? According to the web..I wonder if I can be financially secure and make an independent living off this salary?

Not very financially secure. Too many people working in the field. $18,000 for the first 2 years. $50,000 if you get discovered. $400,000 if you get to work with celebrities.

Hello im 19 years old and im studying network engineering i work full time in a hotel reception and travel far everyday and get paid 8.50 a hour.i go to school in the mornings and work from 3-11pm job is a hour away from my house.there is a friend who is selling his van with equipment for mobile car wash.me and my cuzin are planning to go half and half guy is selling it for 2000$..im planning to leave my job because is not paying that much and plan to start my own business.MY QUESTION IS if i start my own mobile car wash in Miami and throw fliers advertising that house to house business to business along with my computer repair and network service do you think i will do good in money wise?i know depends on clientele but will that make money?i will like to work for my own to help out my family.?also how in estimate can i be making

1) Did you incorporate yet? Did you get a biz license yet? If you got caught doing jobs w/o paying taxes IRS will come down on you like a ton of bricks for tax evasion. There are many many start up costs, location, liability, education etc. maybe even licensing etc.Also, call a Yoga Business in a city near you and ask them, they may or may not be willing to talk with you, but you may find a great mentor who can help guide you.

Forget it. I work at a car wash and for us rainy days are our work days, when we do maintenance that we can t do when we re open. You ll always have a few stupid people who want to come through, but it s just easier to close and get stuff done.

You could set up a car washing center with a bay and easily make money.

Well, for one, you can t make a business out of this unless you get the permission of the people who own the rights to the music. It s cool to make these kinds of videos for fun, but as soon as you start to try to make money off of this idea, the owners to the copyright will either have an attorney file a cease and desist notice against you to shut you down, or they will demand a fee. And if they demand a fee, you can bet that it s going to be extremely expensive. To answer your question, yes, anyone, including a multimedia company, can use your idea. If you watch TV, you d see that after a show becomes popular, lot s of copycat shows come out that try to emulate the original. That s the way business goes - find something popular, and change it just enough to get around the accusations of stealing, and run with it.
