I just signed up with commission junction. If you have a web page you can become an affiliate and it cost you nothing to get started. I spent about two weeks looking for this kind of program.

Should researchers be paid more money? -

In order to do research at university you need to get first to get fairly good GCSEs and A-levels. Then complete a 3 year degree with fairly good marks and a years long master��s degree and then a 3-4 years long PH.D with good marks, this costing ��3000 per year plus living costs and accommodation, leaving the student with large debt having not worked in term time (loss of earnings compared to other schools leaves) having worked hard for 9-10 year (35-60 hours per week) while not been legally required too. there are many jobs that pay lousy but require above average education. Social worker comes to mind. Professional community center leaders. Childcare providers. (good ones have advanced degrees. I m talking moslty about Nannies.) Teachers (in some areas, not all of them.) Teachers at Comminity colleges, and many others. Imagine what the world would be lke if people were actually paid based importance of job. (I m kidding on this last part.)

Purchased Jersey on eBay and packaging damaged? -

Hi, I purchased a Jersey through eBay and paid $10 for the shipping. When it arrived today it came in an ordinary paper envelope that had rips on both sides exposing the jersey. The jersey was a bit wet but not damaged. I was just wondering if there is anything I can do? I paid through paypal so I am insured. I just think its wrong that the seller gets away with that kind of packaging. Any suggestions/previous experienced welcome. Thanks

file a complaint with paypal and tell them you want your shipping money back.

Check what the shipping specs were in the original listing, and make sure that the seller followed them. Aside from that though, if they didn t specify what type of packaging or envelope it would be sent in, this is one of those live and learn experiences. I guess just be thankful that there wasn t too much damage, and be a little more proactive with your future purchases. I know proper packaging seems like common sense...but that s not something you can always count on :(

Anything you can do about WHAT? You said yourself the item was not damaged. Just be happy with your new jersey and forget about your pointless complaint. You ordered an item, you received an item. The seller got away with nothing.

it probably isn t the Seller s fault - probably damaged in the post - BUT...the jersey is not damaged...why make such a fuss - sounds like you are making a mountain out of a molehill!!

Give them neutral feedback, telling that your package wasn t shipped well.

How can a foreigner own a business in the US? -

My Hungarian boyfriend is planning to make the move to the US and start a new business. The problem isn t with getting the business set up, but with getting some type or work permit. The website http://www.uscis.gov explains that in order to get a work permit you have to have a job offer. So how is it that so many foreigners own businesses in the US?

Why doesnt he look at starting himself up with an online business. You dont need to be registered in any country to do this and you can work with no need for permits. I think you have some of your facts mixed up.Assuming you are talking about legal businesses, you cannot start a business in the US as a foreign citizen and use that as the basis of your legal residency because work visa s are usually tied to a job and belong to the company with the job. They grant them to the foreign worker to come into the country to do the job. If the job goes away, so does the visa. On the other hand, if you are a legalized citizen of the US, you are a full legal citizen. You can do everything a regular citizen does -- including starting a business. You might think that that person is a foreigner but the law doesn t look at him (or her) that way.Another possibility is that somebody bought or started a business here with a large cash outlay (investment) or they established a business relationship with an American company. This should open up the option of visa s for business travel and the possibility of temporary residency, but it is not an open ticket to a permanent work visa or other legal options.

I would suggest going to one of the affiliate marketing marketplaces for ideas. Examples are ClickBank.com and MillnicMedia.com. Here, businesses with new ideas advertise for people to market their products (you also get statistics to help you choose). You then just learn now to market the product, you can use creativity in doing this. There are courses available online to help you with the basics.The advantage of this is you can run several products at one time and, if one loses its appeal, you simply find another one that is newer. Otherwise, the chances of finding one craze is pretty difficult but not impossible, to be fair and most of those who have done so in the past have spent a great deal of time (and money) developing the idea. You may have to put up with some failures too!My suggestion should get you where you want to go with a little less effort and money (but you never get something for nothing!). I am working on the same lines and I have included my links below but there are, of course, other examples out there.I wish you success in whatever you do.

Sure, you can find these in party stores now but my wrappers were designed by me and very personalized according to what my customer wanted. Most of my sales were made through ebay (20 custom wrapped bars for $50)...You can buy Hershey s bars at wholesale prices at Sam s Club. I had to give up this business once I had kids because I am a perfectionist and just could not find anyone to print,wrap and pack the bars exactly the way I wanted :-) All you need is a printer, light weight paper (HP Brochure is the best), paper cutter, tape. I had designs for birthday parties, weddings, baby showers(top seller). I also had a smaller line called Hershey s Kiss Stamps. These were small round custom printed labels that I stuck on the bottom of Hershey s Kisses (It s a Boy! or It s a Girl!) ; packed in nice plastic bags with pink or blue silk bow. $3 for bag of 20. Friends and family thought I was making pennies. They never realized how much money I was actually making. Just set up a Paypal account and use your creativity. Hope this gives you ideas.
