Do you need a license to start a business selling resumes? -

I am looking at starting an online resume service to introduce applicants to potential companies. Is there any license required to sell resumes as a service to employers or is this considered head hunting?

Businesses are not going to pay you for resumes, they can get hundreds with a single ad in the paper. As an Employee Representative you may do better, but you d be better charging the employee. (A percent of the years first salary, or maybe just a base rate per month while you work for them to find jobs.) As for the license, you don t need to be licensed to do this, but you WILL need a business license issued by your state or local taxing authority.

Why would they do that when Career Builder, Monster, and other companies do that already? Do you already have a base or core group of businesses on board with this idea already? As for licensing, you just need to file your business as a LLC or something to that effect, on your Secretary of State s website.

I m not fully certain `bout this !?!... But I m thinking that might be seen as ??? atleast: Borderline coruption !?! I say this because : giving out peoples info as freely or as often as you`re truly making it seem!?! I guess I could say is phase one of plotting a crime!?! Such as bribe, invasion of privacy !?! Or even steling someones idea !! whivh may not be seen as a crime as of yet !?! . But just seems like DiRtY Business to me ~!!!. (I d have to know a`little inside info. to be able to decide how right or wRoNg this might be !?!. G/L ~!!! r `R` r

You betcha. And a huge bond.

How to start a pay phone business? -

need to know to get the service already have pay phones just no service

Pay phones are dead. Unload what you have and don t look back. Unfortunately cell phones are it and here to stay.

I am guessing you have to go to your city hall office, register and get a license. also you might want to check with small Business and they will inform you of the procedure to follow.

buy like 10 pay phones and ask companys if they would let you skrew them on the side of there buildings

Can someone help me with some business? -

Lets say you want to open your own company but it costs a lot of money and you have unlimited liability and its risky. but the problem is that it costs a lot of money. what possible implications can arise from such a problem, meaning what can happen if you dont solve the money problem. Does that make sense? I don t really get that myself.

If you don t solve the money problem, you don t open the business!

What is your take on a company name quot;health expressquot; for vitamins distributor? -

HOW LONG SURE YOU KEEP BUSINESS RECORD? -

7 years, you cant go wrong with seven years. There are somethings you should keep longer and some things you should keep forever, some of those being; Audit reports, capial stock and bond records and associated paper work, cash books, charts of accounts, canceled checks, contract which are still in effect, legal correspondence, deed mortgages and bills of sale, depreciation schedules, financial statements, insurance records, minute books of directors, and officers, patents and related paper work, property appraisals, retirement and pension records, tax returns, union agreements.

Use the Seven Year RuleEvery business record serves a purpose for you (as a business owner), your business, and any government agencies that you deal with, but how long should you keep your business records? When in doubt, the best rule of thumb is the Seven-Year Rule. While most of the records you keep will be part of your yearly tax returns (which you should keep indefinitely), you may only have to retain some records one to three years and others, more than seven years...it all depends on the types of records you have.A three-year period for keeping records should be maintained for all your bank statements, deposit slips, petty cash slips (for use of mileage, meals, hotel stays etc), and inventory logs. These items can be used to bolster your case in the event of an IRS audit or even for maintaining how and where your money is being spent. That information can come in handy for cutting out unnecessary costs that result in your losing money.

I need to revamp my church coffee shop, I need some ideas.? -

So here is the deal, I belong to a small church of about 125 people and about 6 months ago my youth group opened up a coffee shop inside so people could get coffee on Sunday mornings, we also serve a small breakfast. As of right now the only people who buy breakfast or coffee are pretty much the youth group and the younger kids in the church. How can make the coffee shop more appealing to adults and look more professional.

Many people, once they hit 30 or 35 or so, start developing health problems, or become more careful about what they eat. So, offer several kinds of artificial sweetener (some people will only like one, some will only like another), soy milk, and whole grain breakfasts. Some people (not me, but I m odd) also start losing their sweet tooth.I ve seen muffins that were whole grain and had several kinds of fruits and veggies in them. They are quite tasty and also they are healthier than a traditional sticky bun...and I love sticky buns!Don t worry about looking professional in terms of looking like a commercial enterprise. Your professionalism should be expressed by keeping a clean, sanitary coffee shop with friendly, helpful staff. If you are trying to raise money for some goal, it s OK to make up a poster showing the goal.

You can severe the adults. add some newspaper. put some sign of bible verse on the walls. put pictures of the church past on the wall.

make the appearance look professional and if the menu of coffee choices is just a cup of coffee, try to add variety like lattes and other things.

As a small business owner I would like to know what you recommend for affordable health insurance. -

Currently paying 700/mo for medical and dental insurance and not feeling i am getting value for the dollar, nor feeling I can continue to pay for the insurance at this rate.

health-quotes.isgreat.org - my family have this health insurance. It is affordable and has good coverage for dental issues.

I have met this sort of situation before, here http://www.HealthInsuranceIdeas.infois the resource I found helpful.

well look up on the yellow pages
