SMALL BUSINESS : restaurant like bakery? -

i was thinking to make a small / medium bakery like no other around where i live.,,i was thinking like a MENU for dessert like things to be served like in restaurants..you order or call before you come and we ll serve it to you fresh and hot or cold whatever it needs to be..surrounding will be like a .. warm.. wooden walls and warm colors of wall paper.. like starbucks like -- cozy feeli just wanted your opinions!im korean and usually we have very different dessert / breakfast like breads with a lot of fruits on it or pizza toppings on it or donut like things.. and targetting korean and american people ill make pancakes and other things .. and mix cultures with bread.. so that we ll get to spread more of what each country eats and all.do you think it s a good idea??

You might want to check out http://cookingwithdenay.com/top-10-food-Remember the economy is still in turmoil and even with that said Americans are watching their waistlines and wallets. More Americans are becoming aware of the need to improve their health and the role that diet can play in doing so. So make sure you work in foods that will focus on whole grains/fiber, types of fat, and food s functionality.America has an increased incidence and awareness of Type 2 diabetes so offer alternative sugar, low sugar and no sugar options. Check into making products with Agar Agar. The health-conscious and/or pleasure-seeking dairy (fat and cheese) consumer is looking for convenient, health-oriented, and premium/self-indulgent products i.e. bacon and feta stuffed spinach pancakes...no really.I don t know where you live but if you are going into the restaurant business today, in 2010 you better be in it for the long haul, else you are just wasting money.

i think its a great idea!

Making Lots of Money Help Me? -

OK, so I need to make about $2000 really fast to pay for a trip to Canada with school next summer. I decided that I mainly want to make and sell things, so here s what I m selling and for how much:Bracelets/Anklets- $2Necklaces- $3.50Rings- $1Locker signs (Popular at my school right now)- $3Key chains- $2Pillows- $4Blankets- $6Zipper pulls- $1Scarves- $3T-shirts- $5Ornaments- $3Bookmarks- $0.50Bulletin boards (Decorated)- $6Wreaths- $4Cookie tins with baked good inside- $3Picture frames- $4.50Magnets- $2Socks- $1 a pairRugs- $10Cat toys/Dog toys- $3 Homemade dog treats- $4 a boxHats- $3Pins/Badges/Buttons promoting school spirit- $1Decorated tennis balls/baseballs- $3Bird feeders- $2Candles- $5Personalized pet food dishes- $8Headbands/Scrunchies- $4Cell phone/Laptop cases- $6Pens- $1Tote bags- $5Hermit crab shells- $5Dog bandanas- $6Birdhouses- $4Shoelaces- $1As you can see, I m desperate.

You need to advertise your sale, so you ll get interest.Selling things are basically the only thing you can do with such a short time to get money.Get a job that pays weekly, and keep it right up until you go to Canada.Good luck x

Great ideas, why not advertise on the free classifieds on www.paganshop1.com and also, have a spell cast while you are there, the results of the wealth spell is amazing, I tried it along with the 800 a week plan and never looked back, what have you got to lose? Report Abuse

a job waitressing or hostessing for a small restaurant is a great, you can easily make 2000 by next summer. I d say a job is your best bet because (assuming you re in middle school?) nobody is really going to buy any of those things because I ve tried doing that in middle school, it doesn t really workand btw, where the hell do you live that it costs 2000 to go to Canada? lol

a successful life by my definition means making my dreams come true, whether it be having a nice truck(not necessarily an 08) a degree--and a career(not necessarily making tons of money either)--something that makes me truly happy...having someone to share it with(eventually)

Get a hair cut and get a real job?Well, your plan works too, just advertising, make sure you have good advertising.

Hi,look for a pawn shop in your city or town wherever you are or a place that buys items for cash. You could also have a garage sale and sell things to people in your neighbourhood. You can also send letters to big companys asking for sponsorship, all you have to do is make copy letters.Hand written and send them to all of the big companys asking if they will sponsor you for your trip and you tell them you need to raise $2000.Ive done this before and some of the companys agreed,we did this before i went to nepal as a volunteer 8 years ago. They wont give you all of the money but if your lucky they will help you out with a small amount =)
