Does online business need a license and pay taxes. If yes then to whom.? -

I plan on starting an online business, since i am young and don t understand much about laws. I want to ask that do i need to register my would-be business and pay taxes if it is going to be totally online. Like i am gonna provide some kind of service. If the taxes are needed to be paid then to whom, because virtually one day i can be managing it in the U.S. and other day in Australia. So do i need to register, pay taxes, if yes then to which country. Because theoretically it s online business and can be operated from anywhere, right. It won t have any solid location in any particular country. The only fair way i think it should work is like this:Lets say i get 60% of my clients/visitors/etc from Country A and 30% from Country B and rest of the 10% from anonymous place. Then my online biz should be taxed by whatever percent is assigned by Country A s law of my 60% taxes. And 30% of taxes go to country B while the last 10% to all world governments since those users were anonymous. Pretty idea don t you think.

Legally it does have to have a solid location, even if it s not where you operate. You ll need a business license for your area to operate. You ll have to pay federal, state, and local taxes for that area. If you are selling something, you ll also need a state sales tax number in many places.http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/artiThat should help you quite a bit. If not, see an accountant. The last thing you want to screw up is federal taxes.

What to look for when going to a flea market (selling stuff on eBay)? -

So I m going to a local flea market for the first time tomorrow to get some cheap stuff to sell on eBay. And tips as to what I should look for so that I don t waste money and/or get scammed?

Brand and designer names sell best. Should be excellent condition. Items still with labels are best.Don t buy or try to sell fakes, replicas, etc. If you can t verify that an item is genuine, you won t be able to guarantee that it is when you try to sell. You should review eBay to see what s selling, and for what price so you know about what to pay for certain items before you go. May to too late now, but for the next time.

What are some indirect competitors of a landscaping business? -

Also, what are key success factors that must be done well in order for a landscaping business to do well and succeed?

Your biggest competitors (indirect) would be Home Depot, Lowe s and local nurseries. These places often offer Do-It-Yourself classes and help potential customers cut you out. Other indirect competitors would be lawn care companies who dabble in small projects. Landscaping is like any other business, you HAVE to market ALL THE TIME! If you don t market market market and continue to market even after you have jobs you ll stagnate and die off.

How can i make money ? -

Im 13 and i want to make money for some extra things, im really into photography so i would like to get a photo printer and i tripod so that i can actually print out and do my photos properly. I like in the UK so we don t really do yard sales or lemonade stands and i don t really know any of my neighbors so i doubt that they would need anything doing by me, any help will be appreciated, Daniellaa xx

A simple suggestion: get an allowense (ask) or get a parttime job...

look for something for 13 yrs old on up thats world wide and free !like no selling involved NO website needed no calls to make etc...it s out there right now just search for it

If you want to make money, find a person you respect who is successful. Emulate his/her work habits and you will be successful too.

Hard work always pay. Any work wherein u have interest u can take up. For example, If u have capital, u can purchase things locally and export from your country to anywhere. It pays a lot.

I d say start off with one of the following websites.Blogger- www.blogger.com- Google s blogging platform- Simple to use but I have found it to be limited in designs and adaptability to what I wantWordPress- www.wordpress.com- Popular platform among Pro Bloggers- If your looking to make it more than just a hobby start here because once you get the feel for word press then its easy when you want to start your own blog as you ll already understand how to use word press.Alternatively if you want to own you blog i.e own a domain name and host it I d suggest taking a look at these videos http://tinyurl.com/10-free-blogging-videos they really helped me when I was a newbie to blogging and I also got the free report which has some interesting tips and advice on how to go about blogging here s the link http://tinyurl.com/roadmap-to-bloggingHappy Blogging!

Heya !!There are a couple free sites where you can start blogs like:Wordpress.comBlogspot.comTypepad.combut I can honestly recommend buying your own .com domain and hosting and setting up a blog on there. It will cost $10 a year for the domain and $5 a month for hosting. It will be strange if you cannot make $100 a year from your blog to cover those costs, so that means your blog will cost you nothing :)I have created a free step by step tutorial how to do this from scratch. It s a page on my own blog at www.upgradereality.comPeaceDiggy

Blogger is the best free one which gets high rankings in Google but you have to work your way through like getting back links. You can download the pdf book on how to become a blogger

Try devhub. http://www.devhub.com/?partner=Kriu9crGjYou can build a free website wich includes free blogging features and you can intergrate ads and amazon products to make a little money. It s super easy to use. Good luck!

What are some great things to sell at a bake sale.? -

Im hosting a bake sale to benefit a children s hospital. im going to take the profits and but gifts for the unfortunate children. i need baked goods that will sell so i can get more toys. nothing to complicated so i will have time for everything. please help the children everyone deserves a holiday gift.

You might want to use and advertise that your baked goods are sugar free. With the concern about diabetes that might work, Splenda makes both regular and brown sugar.I use and can t tell the difference. Of couse you will have to watch that the other ingrediants you use are also sugar free.

baked goods? nothing to complicated ? so buy sum cakes at the bakery and sell them for a profit! DUH - help the children by doing some of the work yourself!

Everyone loves things like brownies, cookies or cupcakes... Easy to make and pretty good profit margin... Good luck.

What is a is a code of practice and is it a legal requirement? -

No it is not. It s just a guide to how business s and Landlords should act reasonably, but sadly most of them ignore it.

I want to buy 15 workstation cps for business which are best? -

I have to give a presentation on the merits of three different computer for Business. I have convince my boss one is better than the others. How do I go about doing that?

In my experience - Dell PCs hold up a lot better than Toshiba in the workplace - we ve been using primarily dell for 6+ yrs and 95+% of the desktop units that are 6+ yrs old are still working -Dell laptops are more durable than other brands also - always get a 3 yr extended warranty plan with any business computer

What insurance or tax is needed to be paid for an online shop? -

I am just setting up a online retail store for ladies lingerie, orders will be posted from my home address initially - do I need insurance and do I need to pay capital gains tax? Does anybody know of anything else hidden that I may have missed?

Not Capital Gains, but you need to register at http://www.hmrc.gov.uk for self assessment. If your income is high enough, you will pay Schedule D tax, and Class 4 National Insurance. Anyone self-employed also needs to pay Class 2 National Insurance.

why would you need to pay capital gains tax? You will certainly have to pay income tax though. you need to decide what legal structure to be - are you going to be a limited company or just a sole trader? you need to register your new status with your tax office and start keeping accurate records of your income and business-related expenditure, so it is easy to do the first tax return in due course. Not sure about insurance - I would have thought you might need public liability insurance? You would also need to tell your home insurance company and maybe pay extra for running a business from home. You will also need to tell the council and they might charge you business rates.

You need to register with HM Revenue Customs as self employed, and if your turnover is in excess of 68k you need to register for VAT.Capital Gains Tax is due when you make a gain on the sale of an asset; it isn t a tax on the profits of a business. You probably need Product Liability Insurance - see attached link.

Thank you for answer, try this:insurance.2arz.com

Has anyone in the uk made extra money at home online? If yes, how??? Thanks people.? -

You need to send your resume out to real jobs you are qualified to do. In your cover letter you need to state that you wish to work remotely, from your home office. LOTS of companies, especially in CA operate this way. They usually provide transportation for you to come in for an interview and for you to attend company meetings a few times a year, but otherwise everything is done online.

http://vur.me/s/jakescashmachine/ im part of it and make loads you can get up to 4000 a month

Im in a start-up with one partner. What percent to give to a new partner? -

Hello. I need some help. I have a partner and we own a new start-up business. There are two investors who wants to help us with money (we think at that moment they are not needed a lot of money), services (about low, marketing and finances) and partnership. The company will remain ours, but we don t know how much percents to give them and which one of them to get. They have their own businesses and are big in their field. They are not going to spend a lot of time for us, but will do it when needed. They are angel investors . We and they think that we have a great idea with a big potential, but we are really in the early start-up.

Pl. be very clear about what you do write a proper agreement before you take any finance.Be very specific in areas of co-operation if the investors are not spending time to help in business then a fixed ROR on loan amount/Royalty on sales can be offered to investing partners but try not to give any share holding in your biz.Why have you not tried banks?Banks offer better rates but ask for sales turnover plans for future with colateral G ntees in form assets eg.bldg./bonds etc.The investing partners must be identified clearly taken as sleeping partners only. But once again, I firmly advise to do a proper agreement in conusltation with your CA/Lawyer.

How would I go about doing this? -

I am graduating this year and am planning on majoring in Elementary Education and Business. I know it s a lot of work but I know I can do it so don t tell me I shouldn t or w/e. I want to open my own animal shelter and don t know what I specific business major I should major in or how I would go about opening my own shelter. I know it will take a lot of work but how? Help please?

You need business managment skills and understanding what your doing. You would need to know that you gonna need investors or money to find a commercial faciility to host all the neglected dogs, cats. exc. Than you need to find NonProfit Orginization sponsers and grants. Mostly would be obtainable through your state or county site. You gotta do alot of googly to get that money. whatever money you throw at the orginization becomes tax deductable, depends on what state. You have to have a business plan drawn up and ready to go to get the money, grants, and loans. And go find some cats to lethal inject. youll find more help and resources at sqipom.com

You ll need knowledge in the charity / non-profit field. Have you planned out how you re going to complete both these majors? You can do both, but not in four years, especially since one of your semesters will be taken up by student teaching.

What service should i use for shipping something extremely fragile? -

I usually use usps because their prices are low and i don t really know about how to ship with anyone else. i have a package to ship full of a perfect set of old china. some one just bought it from me for $500.How can i ship this to ensure nothing will get broken or damaged in transit and at the same time keep the price low? What shipping company should i use and do they have any rules about packaging? Please help! Thanks!

the best method for this type of product would be to have it crated, although this would also be the most expensive. i have used www.shipalliance.com for crating larger items for shipping. They did a great job with both have reasonable prices.

I would contact the UPS store. Usually if they pack it for you, they have some guarantees to go with it. If you insure this set of china and something goes wrong, you can get your money back, but that of course may not be as important as the china itself.

How to make profit from a cafe? -

i don t get how you can make a profit from a cafe you need a loan to start up (probably) then all the running costs of electricity, gas, water, rent, stock and other things, that means you will need to make loooadss a day to break even neer mind make a profit can someone explain where the money is made, thankyou =D

The labor costs are offset by wait staff being paid less than minimum wage (in return for tips). The rest is made by raising the prices for a 15% profit above the break even point.

Is it legal to sell personal products at workplace? -

Because one of my coworkers does it. Legal? Illegal? what s the deal?

its on a case-by-case basis. ask your supervisor if they are okay with it. if its distracting or competes against your company they probably wont let you. if you re getting all your work done and not distracting others from doing their jobs or losing sales they will probably be cool with it.

It may be legal, but it s the most annoying thing in the world. They have to keep it legal, since sometimes parents try to sell their kids school candy at work. There really should be a law against people selling amway, avon, mary kay, tuperware, and all that other crap that no one wants./

There s nothing illegal about it, but the employer can ban such sales if they want to.

IT DEPENDS ON COMPANY POLICY!!!!

Are sites like E-bay good places to sell art? -

Can i purchace wholesale food without a bussiness i want very large amounts of food not to resale? -

in America, you are welcome to purchase food directly from the wholesalers and distributors in whatever quantities they are willing to sell to you and at whatever prices they are willing to sell at.Be aware that minimum orders will like be in case and/or pallet lots, delivered via truck, and that regular [weekly or more frequent] purchases are likely required.oh, likely terms are cash on delivery -- wholesalers do not accept credit cards.

Im considering opening a semi-adult business and need help with pricing...? -

Now, this is just a little business idea, I m not too sure on the details yet.I plan on opening a stall, probably in an area with a lot of males shops, in my local shopping centre. Pretty much you come to me to eat food off my boobs. You can have whatever you like, including food from a comptetitors store, but will pay a mark-up for the service of my breasts acting as your plate. The question is: What kind of a mark-up would you be willing to pay? 200%? 50%? 10%?

I think your clients would be limited and you are going to have problems with the local zoning and health laws.Better to just be a stripper and make the big bucks.

Why dont you have a baby.. then you can use your boobs to feed all you like

no one would pay money to eat off your nasty ****

ewww... if I thought this was a real question I might actually puke.

Registering Business in Malaysia? -

can any one provide me information in registering business in Malaysia what is the procedure and how much it costs??? any useful link??

The official website is http://www.ssm.com.my If you are registering a Sole Proprietorship , it takes about 1 day at the office and costs approx. RM80 ever year. If you are registering a company, you would require a secretariat firm to assist you. Normally, it costs you RM2500 - RM3000 for the incorporation. The registration period is between 2 - 4 weeks.

What is a good price to charge for move-in/move-out apartment cleaning? -

I would like to know about a decent price that would be charged for cleaning apartments before tenants move in?

This depends on what your state landlord tenant act may say. Usually up to $100 - $150 can be non-refundable provided you clearly state this and you actually do the work. For instance $75 of the above number is for carpet cleaning. $50 of it could be for cleaning because the tenant was/is a smoker. Hope this helps you to get started or better understand the charges.

It depends completely on the area you live in. I d call around some other apartment complexes and ask them about some of their contractual guidelines. Mostly, it ends up being broken down into what needs to be done. If a tenant cleans exuberantly well upon move out, no fee should be charged. Set prices for basic things- stains in carpets, dirty bathrooms, trash left in apt, and so on. Be reasonable about it- depending on the state you live in there might be laws protecting the kinds of surcharges you can include in such a fee. If all else fails, contract out the work it would take for a cleaning service to take care of what needs to be cleaned, and add 10% to the total. This is a chance to pay you for your labor in contacting and scheduling the cleaning services, not to make exaggerated profit at your tenant s expense. Make sure you include the prices in leasing contracts and get a signature before trying to implement any fees.

For anyone who works at home online? -

does anyone know of any online jobs that are reliable and trustworthy?

We can t answer this, we have no idea what yo our skills and education are.If you want a real job apply at real companies that have real openings for your profession. Explain in your cover letter that you want to work at your home office.

Want to work with a online company that works as a team? Not a good marketer? Dont worry, your upline will actually build your downline for you. Marketing training is also provided. http://www.unlimitedopportunities.ws

I make money online in my spare time using a site called CashCrate. It is a GPT (Get Paid To) site where you get paid to fill out surveys and complete free offers. You dont need a credit card and will never have to spend a dime. CashCrate is the most reliable and safest GPT site you will find on the internet. You wont get rich from cashcrate but you can earn about $50-$200/month on average. Below is the URL to my blog dedicated to cashcrate. In it is everything you need to know to get started as well as Proof that CashCrate Pays. If you are interested please check it out. p.s. Buying/Selling Designer Clothing Online? -

I am unsure on the laws in the UK regarding this matter..Say I were to buy genuine designer clothing from a wholesaler found online, from the UK, made my own clothing website and advertised and sold these brand new designer clothes on my website, do I have the right to do so? Or do I need to buy selling rights or something? As i know selling new designer clothes is legal on ebay I just wondered if the same applies to an independent site? Thanks for your time

I am unsure on the laws in the UK regarding this matter.. I m sure you ll find out. Y!A is a valuable resource when used properly. ...made my own clothing website and advertised and sold these brand new designer clothes on my website, do I have the right to do so? In the US, a seller in due course who bought an item has the right to sell it. I m sure there are similar laws in the UK as long as critical comparative comments aren t made in advertising. ; )

designer clothes? unless you have their permission you can get in a whole lot of trouble

Can a client refuse to pay interest on late payment? -

So my client hasn t paid me and its been about 60 days, the account payable person never returned or took any of my all ( made about 10-12 calls total) So I re-invoiced my client and charge 3 % as stated on my invoices that all account are due in 15 days or will be charge 3%.So my client calls me today to tell me that he doesn t pay interest on late account. I find it quite hard to believe... like what if he takes 60 days to pay his phone, internet or electricity bill then would he calls the company to say doesn t pay interest on late payment. Why would freelancer get a different treatment than bigger companies? Is it even legal for him to refuse to pay late interest. If anyone can just refuse to pay interest fee than why are they there in the first place and how to make clients pay on time?

Whenever you sold whatever your product or service is then there should have been a written and signed agreement on your terms of payment. If you didn t get anything signed and there is an agreement binding them to them I m pretty sure you re out of luck.If you do have that then you can take it to small claims (depending on the amount owed) court.

you SOUND like small business owner if this is the case your client probably feels he can put paying you off and late fees interest etc betting you don t have the finances to take him to small claims or pay a business attorney to sue him for the past due. As far as he not paying late fees or interest if he new that is your policy upfront he still owes you that unless to get payment from him you waive the late fees/interest or tell him you will take him to court for what he owes plus interest on balance and usually court costs etc

He can refuse to pay anything he wish. If the debt is valid he is responsible. The key is getting him to pay and are you willing to take him to small claims court to collect? If at all possible find someone else to do business with. Sometimes it is not worth the aggravation. Getting clients to pay on time is a million dollar answer. Companies large and small would love to solve this problem.

Only LOSER clients will do this to you. You have three options here: 1) wait patiently until he gets around to paying, 2) charge this client more upfront to cover any potential late fees (if you charge another client $20/hr, charge this guy $22/hr, 3) stop doing business with this client.Unless the amount is large, it isn t worth pursuing legal avenues.I do billing/collections for a client who has two loser clients of his own, because of this, they pay a higher hourly rate for his work. This is mostly because my client charges things on his credit card that he bills to his clients, so when they pay late, he gets dinged with credit card charges. The higher rate covers his potential losses from these losers (and I m trying to get him to drop them, he s dropped two others in the last year for similar reasons).Good luck!

Its a game. Its wrong to not pay the interest, but what are you going to do? Take them to court over 12-100 bucks? If there is repeat business, hide the interest in the price. Some people call this the aggravation of doing business with you fee.The gas and electric people have a bit more leverage, people need the gas/electric so they keep those bills currentIf it really bugs you, don t do more business with that client. They may have morals different than yours, and if you can afford to, don t do business with them. Not all customers should be your customers.

Grant money for expansion of a Real Estate office? -

I work in an EXIT realty franchise in Ohio. I have been asked to do some research into grant money and government aid for Real Estate businesses looking to expand/renovate etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

There s no such thing as grant money for a profit making business or company. Don t even bother looking. NO such thing! You need to reinvest your internally generated profits, or borrow against your cashflow. However, small business loans are nearly impossible to come by these days. Nobody is lending. Since you are in real estate, you ought to know better than anyone what the banking finance climate is like these days!

Jessica, give a try to this resource: http://getcreditfast.info/businessgrantsHope it will help as it have helped some of my friends.Good luck!

Thank you anything helpsSamantha(:

You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies. You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job. These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as work at home because they would hear from too many unqualified people.

Try this site: http://www.propaydays.tk it can make you good money and its easy to do. There are no fees and it pays every Friday. You can make as much as $5000 a month using this site just a few hours a day. http://www.propaydays.tk

Since you try so many, why not try all sites? there are so many on this forum. But I bet they are all the same, you make no money from them at all.Sorry, but many people before you try and the same result happens to them.

websites are all scams - only way to make real money is to sell real products or servicessome quick 3-5 days ebay auctions may be the only way to get money in time for Xmas - sell stuff you don;t use/need/want

absent a lot more good reasons why you ll succeed: no.examples: the business is very low risk -- all startup costs secured by inventory bought at wholesaleyou ve been in the same business before and were successful. or a related business.someone with serious resources guarantees the loan....

Maybe - will somewhat depend on how solid your business plan is and what experience you have in the field in which you are opening a business.

What are some ways that a small business can be socially responsible? -

Everything socially responsible (packing materials that are environmentally friendly, donating money, etc) seems to cost so much money! My small business doesn t have major corporate financial resources, but I want to be as socially responsible as possible and want to give back to the community. What are some ways that a small business without major corporate financial resources can be socially responsible and give back to the community while continuing to make a profit?

Coley, in a price-conscious world, your question is a great one. Many consumer decisions center on price alone, with no attention paid to how goods are produced or other negatives triggered intentionally or inadvertently by companies and consumers. As consumers, we buy engagement rings never thinking about whether young African children might have been enslaved to mine for those diamonds -- and of course without thinking about how that might have been OUR children if we d grown up in a different culture. That s consumer behavior; now let s shift to responsibilities and opportunities for companies. Marci s list of questions provides a strong base for you to increase your social responsibility. One way to look at this is through the prism of the Triple Bottom Line: People, planet, profit. In a perfect world, you want all three. In the real world of compromises, sometimes you ll end up slightly imbalanced. The trick is to keep your business from ignoring any of the three (by the way, I usually replace planet with the word community and use it to think beyond the environment). Some thoughts:-- Are your customers so price sensitive that they would balk if your products were sourced so that the growers or manufacturers were assured a living wage? (Costco has built a huge business on this -- I m not even talking about Whole Foods). -- Wouldn t many of your customers applaud if your packaging were all reused materials (especially if you let them know what you ve helped keep out of the landfill)?-- Isn t treating your team with deep respect much less expensive than recruiting and training replacements?-- Doesn t being out there doing work at the local Boys and Girls Clubs help bring awareness to your brand? We entrepreneurs create our own businesses at least in part because we want to create a reflection of our souls. Maybe a little less profit and a lot more goodwill isn t a bad tradeoff. But I m willing to bet that if you focus on doing good while doing well, you ll grow your bottom line too.

It does not necessarily have to be money that you donate. Join a local community service group (such as Kiwanis) or encourage one of your top employees to join by making the time available and picking up the cost of the annual dues. Now you (they) can contribute with a little sweat equity in one of their projects. You are being socially responsible and get the added benefit of getting your name and your companies name in front of other community leaders. I think it is a win win situation.

If you are seeking some small ways to support you community then how about sponsoring youth activities through the local Boys/Girls Club. How about local high school sports? What about local litter volunteering for your county roads? The other thing may be sponsor a career day with other local businesses. Hope this gives you some ideas. Good luck

I have a small import company and I give back 10% of my sales to charities in the countries my merchandise comes from.

Coley, it s great to hear that you re looking for ways that your business can be socially responsible and I understand your fear that making efforts to help the world could cost more than your business can afford. But I m going to suggest you think about it in a different way. Take a look at every aspect of your business and ask yourself, Are there ways I can improve something here? I m guessing you can find a few places where you can do better without spending much at all.I recently heard about a doctor who was courted for a big position at an urban hospital. He knew he had leverage so as part of his negotiation he asked the hospital to revise its policies on treating poor patients. He got what he asked for. Try to look at your business the same way. What kinds of changes can you make to benefit not only your business but your customers, your employees or your community? Here are some questions to ask yourself. If you have employees, are you treating them as well as you could be? Do they feel comfortable taking time off when they are sick? Do you provide opportunities for training and acquiring new skills? Have you created an environment that allows workers time for doing things that matter in their personal life? Is there a cause or charity that fits in with your company s focus? If so, why not partner with them on a fundraising activity like a walk or a bicycle ride. You ll get the opportunity to do good in your community, to engage your employees or customers in good work, and to get people involved in a fitness activity. If you use a factory to make any of your products, have you investigated the working conditions in that factory? These days, your customers will care about how the products they consume are made. You should too. Start reading Good Magazine (www.good.is) and its spin-off Good Business (http://www.good.is/departments/good-busi They ll give you lots of good ideas.

If you go into Bankruptcy, as individual, can you start your own business later on, or there are restrictions? -

You will not be able to obtain credit for your LLC, but you can certainly start one.

There are no restrictions - however, its a great leap of faith that somebody would be successful in their own business down the line from personal bankruptcy. Your credit profile would show a BK, but you needn t use your name or SSN for a new venture.

http://diylegalinfo.com/bankruptcy_Links.html has a lot of information on bankruptcy questions, how to handle them yourself and other information.

What would be a great name for a clothing store for mostly teens? -

I m going to college to open my own clothing store, but I m stuck on the name. I have no clue what I should name it. It will be a store for teens like Hollister. I will sell guys and girls clothing. I don t really want anything with my name in it because I think that s corny. The clothing is going to be casual for all seasons. If you can think of a name for a perfume I would like suggestions for that also. I need something catchy that will draw customers. Any help you have will be great. Thank you.

You should try brainstorming by writing down what ever comes to your mind on a piece of paper. Once you get going, you ll come up with some pretty cool names. Then test them out on your friends to see which one they like the best.

I am taking a business to claims court and I was wondering if there is anyway I can find out who the owner if this business is. I have tried 192.com and have tried phoning them asking what the owners name is with no luck. It s a small garage they have no website. Any ideas? Thanks.

Try going to your local town hall to the records department for businesses and ask for the name of the owner. They have to be paying taxes so there should be a record of gets the tax bills.

Is there any way to open up a free bank account for selling things on eBay? -

I don t know a thing really about ebay, so if someone could explain how to sell for me would be great, but what I want to know: Do you have to pay the bank to open up an account? or is there a way to open one up for free? If so which banks do it for free? Im not sure if you understand what I m trying to ask, but please try to understand the best you can, Thank you.

eBay owns Paypal which can be used by buyers to purchase whatever you are selling on eBay. You can open a Paypal account which will need a bank account so you can move funds from Paypal to your checking account. If you have a checking account already, that will be sufficient. You will need a credit card in order to sell on eBay. eBay charges you to list your products and complete any transaction.

Hi Godady,I kind of know that there is certain company in singapore will able to entablish website for you but need to pay a fee to get the domain. If you got good idea of Money making SITE created by you ..write to me I will surely be your frist business partner.Good luck

Hi, I have found an interesting website for earning money in Internet. You can Earn Rs.2000 For doing Data entry Jobs and Data conversion Jobs from your home. You no need to pay any deposit amount for getting data entry jobs. It take only 2-5 min to complete the work daily. On an average you can Earn. Rs.1000 per day. Click this http://www.dataconversionjobs.com?id=24149 and register todayalso try http://money4sms.50webs.comhttp://shadabkhot.blog.co.in/

I would leave the business end of it to the pros and find a good company in network marketing. That way, all you have to do is use your skills to drive traffic to your websites and let the company and products do the rest. I have been doing it for over 15 years and it could not be any easier. Enrico

hello its good to hear about you. I have tried a lot and at last i found from different resources in web that there are a top 5 ways to how to make money by making the websites: Go here and see what are they:http://www.uts-chupakabras.blogspot.com

As you are familiar with HTML, create blogs and earn through Google ad sense.

you either need to be able to sell or hire someone who can sell your services.

I think i got scammed by an ebay seller? -

Hey guys,I think I got scammed by an ebay seller. I bought this item http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem item=320434793552 ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:ITand recieved it today. It was described like new but when i got it, one piece of the heatsink fell off and the amp was in really bad shape, there were a lot of scratches, stain and I even see hair on it! . And a few days before i also saw the same type of amp for sale on ebay with the same part of the heat sink broken so i suspect it was the guy. Here are the pics of the amphttp://img38.imageshack.us/i/dsc00951u.jpg/http://img94.imageshack.us/i/dsc00952.jpg/http://img44.imageshack.us/i/dsc00953s.jpg/http://img44.imageshack.us/i/dsc00954b.jpg/http://img16.imageshack.us/i/dsc00955gn.jpg/http://img32.imageshack.us/i/dsc00956wu.jpg/http://img5.imageshack.us/i/dsc00959i.jpg/http://img200.imageshack.us/i/dsc00961x.jpg/you can enlarge the pics for clearer lookPlease help me, what should i do now. I ve only sent him a message letting him know that he should take action toward this since im really unsatisfied.

If you paid through PayPal and the seller is not being helpful at all, you can file for a PayPal claim for an ITEM Not As Described. If proven that his Ebay item description is not exactly as described, PayPal will give you the refund and the seller will have to pay PayPal so he can use PayPal again to sell his items. Give him a negative feedback too.

contact the guy, tell him he lied to you and you are not satisfied. demand a full refund and you probably need to file a claim through ebay and paypal to get your money back if he doesn t respond to youalso leave negative feedback.

How can I go about opening up a small boutique in the Atlanta area? -

I have a strong desire to open up a fashion boutique. Right now in my life, it doesn t have to be a high end boutique, but I would like to know how to go about things. How do I began to get loans, items for the boutique, help, business letter, etc?I would like to have 1) wedding consignment boutique and/or 2) a fashion boutique. Please Help!!

I would set up a time to visit the Small Business Development Center and Business Consultants in Atlanta --through the Small business Administration. There are lots of resources there that can help you. They will help you even research to determine if it is a viable idea; just because you think it is a good idea, does not mean the target market is there; help draw up a business plan; guide you toward loans (however in this economy --they have been sparse). I would focus on one of the two ideas above----make that one successful. I would also suggest you read Michael Gerber s E Myth and E Myth Revisited. I would also look on the internet and find boutiques in other cities and talk with the owners to find out what challenges and successes they have. Some will be willing to talk with you, some may not.

How much does it cost to rent out a room at club sugar in Milwaukee Wisconsin? -

I couldn t have it at my house! My school is huge, and my house is just a little it to small for something like this.

What kind of permits do I need if I am starting a home business in CA? -

I am thinking of opening an in-home braiding/extension studio where I will be selling hair products and accessories. What kind of licenses/permits would I need (other than a cosmetology license which isn t required in order to braid hair in CA). I don t plan on having any employees or business partners, so I think it would be considered a sole proprietorship, but for the strangest reason, there seems to be least amount of info on ventures like these.Any info or advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated!!!

Go for it. My suggestion would be to call city hall and ask them if you are within their city and you want to open your homes doors to start a business of braiding hair. How can you make it so it s legal in every way. City hall knows and since you didn t state your city, I can t tell you the answer.

You need to get a federal EIN, and a state sales tax permit. There may also be other industry specific licenses you need. Check your state laws for specific permits. It s also a good idea for tax and liability reasons to incorporate your business. An LLC is the easiest way to do this. A sole proprietorship creates some major liability and you end up paying more taxes than through a self owned corporation. There are a number of online businesses that can help you set this up. You may want to consult a local CPA who can explain the specific tax benefits.

Whats a good business idea, two 16 yr old students looking to make a little money? -

interview your neighbors, out to 1/2 milefind UNMET needs and see which ones you would like to fillthis is what all entrepreneurs, PT or FT must do!

A good idea is a new one. Not a recycled internet idea. But as a general rule buying/selling has poor operating profit margins, services have greater profit margins. Sell your soul to the devil. Or work to your strengths, what do you know like?

try organising kids parties, i did it and it earns quite a bit, plus u get free food and cake.....n play stupid funny games.or u could do the usual, get a job in a clothes shop, or delivering papers.....n pizzas

Can anyone help me find information about Bed and Breakfasts? -

I m doing research for a business class. I need to know on average how much money a Bed and Breakfast near a moderatly visited mountain ski area would make a year? If anyone knows first-hand or a website that might have that kind of information that would be great. Since most B Bs are run by only a few people and not traded they don t post their numbers. Thanks!

Google it, Tara.

The figures would depend on a number of factors. What you need to do is create a model and go from there. How many rooms? What is included? How much does it cost to keep a guest there one night? How much will the guest pay for that night? What is the rate of occupancy year-round? Peak season? Summer? What does moderately visited ski area mean? You have to define your terms. The few people that I know who run B Bs had a good bit of money before opening their establishements. The business operate in the black but are not enormous money makers. Most people who run B Bs do so for the lifestyle; many of them have come away from high-pressure stress jobs to become innkeepers. In other words, while a well-run inn would make a profit, the average B B more than likely comes out just better than even each year. There are a number of books on how to open and run a B B and lots of websites:http://www.spitzerhouse.com/Articles/Inn(check out the links at the bottom of the spitzer page)http://www.businessplanworld.com/plan.hthttp://www.openabedandbreakfast.com/http://www.amazon.com/Financially-Succes

Most B Bs don t make a profit. Most operate to help pay some of their bills. They are Hobby Businesses.

Why are the majority of convenient/liquor stores always owned and operated by Asian and Indian people? -

I know there has to be other people that want to own their own convenient store. Why then the majority of the time it is always the same type of people, there has to be some explanation for this. Please don t tell me they are getting some sort of tax/price break because they are foreign??

These are businesses that require long hours and a willingness to make sacrifices in order to succeed. Unlike most US citizens who would rather have a 40 hour per week job and spend their weekends watching sports on the TV our Asian and Indian citizens will work 60 or more hours per week and have their whole family working in the store.Hope this helpsJerry-the-bookkeeper

Omg i know right! These days all dairys and fish chip shops are owned by either frickin Asians or Indians [NO RACIST] but god it annoys me! *shakes head* They should go run shops in they re own motherfreakin countries!

How do you get a babysitting job? -

I just got my certificate and emailed people and I am going to hand out fliers and stuff. If this doesn t work what do I do? How do I land a job quicker? How do I convince the family to let me babysit their kids? Thanks!

Please do not hand out fliers This is so unsafe. Suggest instead you call a few local daycare centers. make an appointment to meet the manager or owner. Introduce yourself and ask them to give your contact information to their registered parents. Much safer and you are targeting the actual people who need your service.

You can useBusiness CardswebsitesOnline DirectoriesSignageJoin an Agency Free AdvertisingYou can use all of the above to promote your babysitting services. be sure that that you are cpr and first aid certifiedyou can either post your ad here or look for possible jobs. What should I name my business? -

I am doing a fiction business for computer class. it s a computer making business. The greek god for technology is Hephaestus, so maybe i could use that in the name. I m not sure. The roman equivalent is Vulcan. if that sounds like a cool business name, tell me. Or if you can think of something else tell me please Thanks :)

i think using what you have already would be good like Vulcan Computers or maybe just Vulcan itself.

What do i need to do to get a credit card machine for my business? -

for years we have only accepted cash at our taxi company but for the past couple months we ve been getting LOTS of request for credit card transactions. excuse my ignorance but what do i need to do and where do i start. i have no idea what to do.

Talk to the bank your business uses.

Hello, accepting credit cards is a great way to improve your business professionalism and customer satisfaction rating. Most people this day in age expect to have multiple payment methods and credit cards can really help to increase sales and streamline the process in general. For a mobile business like yours, Taxi Cab Service. You will probably want to get setup with a mobile terminal, basically the drivers would carry a small machine with them that would allow them to swipe the customers card and print out a receipt if nessecary. It would process the funds instantly and would be deposited into your business checking/saving accounts and etc. There really aren t many downfalls to accepting credit cards, it s almost a requirement for any modern business that wants to move forward and continue to be profitable. The fee s are very low if you get the right company, but I do have to stress getting setup with the right company. Many local banks have outrageous fee s that just cut into your profit margins, and the last thing you want to do is give away more money than you already are to expenses.I have ran my own business for over 5 years and work with clients every week who are also business owners, over that time I ve learned quite a bit so if you have any questions feel free to contact me and I would be happy to discuss it in more detail. I really like helping business owner s and it can be pretty confusing if you ve never done it before.Anyway, before I make your eyes bleed I can personally recommend Prosper Merchant Services.http://www.prosperms.com/They have been great for me over the years and have a very good rating with most sources. There customer service is great and I know for a fact they give free equipment and have a high acceptance rate which can be difficult to find. However there are several very good options out there, if you do a google search or talk to some local business owners I m sure they would give a recommendation as well.Good luck to you, I am sure processing credit cards will help your business dramatically!

It s really not a big deal. All u need to do is call a Credit Card Merchant company and let them know ur interested in their services. They ll provide u w/the machine for a monthly fee, in some cases they have promos and the machine comes w/o the fees,(although its still theirs), or u can also purchase the terminal urself, but u still need their services to process payments, and assign a bank acct where u want those deposits to go into. The most important thing in all of this is to compare the FEES of at least a few such companies before making a decision as that will determine ur profitability from such transactions. Your def better off all cash, no doubt, but if ur losing bis cuz of not taking CC s then go for it.Below is a link, just as an example of the type of merchants u need to call.Best wishes =)http://www.cardservicesales.com/?wcw=goo

Good Morning Gracie -I saw your post on getting set up with credit cards for your business. I would love to offer m advice and assistance. Some of the other answers have some good points but they also have some questionable ones.First and foremost, never rent or lease equipment. You will be stuck in a lease for 4 years and it is a non-cancellable lease. What that means is - even if you decide a year from now credit cards acceptance is not for your business you still pay for that lease. Secondly, avoid signing a contract that locks into a term agreement. The gentleman that said that his company offers free equipment...that may be true, many companies do. But they almost always come in exchange for signing a 3 or a 4 year agreement with the processor. I would avoid that at all costs as well. It completely takes away the flexibility that you have as a business owner.Third, if a company is saying things like rates as low as or retail rates start at that should be a red flag as well. I noticed the prosper website does that quite a bit. There are many ways to process a credit card. In your taxi cab environment it may be by using a handheld terminal, if you have numerous cabs that may not be the most economical way to start out. Thise terminals can cost close to $1000 each. You can also process using Dial Pay. You pay a little more per transaction, but there is no equipment needed. You just call in the authorization over the phone. It is simple.I would be happy to get you some more information on credit card processing. Here is the company that I would recommend.www.windriverfinancial.com (Ask for Chad)They deal in at will agreements which means if you are not happy with their pricing or service you can cancel with no penalty.Thanks.P.S. Jeff and Ed - It sounds like you are both business owners. If you would like me to review your merchant program for free - feel free to contact me as well.Have a great Day!!

Whats the different between insurance and bond for a small general contractor business? -

What s the different between insurance and bond for a small general contractor business?to my situation i m just doing local job no more than 5k per job and what s the best way for me to buy cover?

Insurance is usually to insure your business against accidents like vehicle accidents or if you accidently damage something while on the job etc.Bonds are usually job specific as in perfomance and payment bonds that if for some reason your company doesn t or can t finish the work or don t pay subcontractors the bonds are in place to insure that the job will be finished. They are two completely separate things on some jobs you may be required to have both. You always have to insurance, bonds you get as needed. Usually a bond isn t required unless the contract is over a certain $$ amount but many gov t jobs in the US will require a bond.Insurance usually just takes $$$, bonds your company must meet certain requirements to get some aren t bondable.

Hmm i dont know what the difference is but this might help youhttp://peerfly.com/x/0/384/2613/

Check the internet for rates. If you are more comfortable knowing your banker personally, go to the bank where you have a checking/savings account. Also check with local banks (versus national banks) as they frequently have better rates and lower fees than the big banks.Your ability to get the loan will be a function of:1 - your credit/FICO score,2- your income as a representation of ability to repay,3. your debt/equity ratio. This shows how much equity versus how much debt relative to the house. There are other details, but those three things drive the decision.Check out the following site for national trends on rates:http://www.bankrate.com/I have never received or applied for a loan through this site, but it has lots of useful information.

Can a shop refuse to accept pound;50 notes ? -

i was led to believe it was against the law for shops to refuse crrency

50 notes are legal tender, which means they cannot be refused if offered as payment for a legal debt.In a shop a legal contract is not created until you take the goods to the till (which is an offer to purchase) and the shop then asks you for payment (they accept the offer). If a shop has a sign up saying they don t accept 50s then they are making this a part of the contract, so they don t have to accept them. Technically you would be in breach if you had no other form of payment, but in practice they would just cancel the deal. But, if there is no obvious notice then the shop has no option but to accept you 50 note, because there is a legally binding contract and they cannot refuse legal tender in settlement. If they refuse to accept it it is them who are breaching the contract. Technically the goods would be yours and you could leave with them (although good luck in getting PC Plod to accept this). You still owe the money and must pay it, but it is a civil and not a criminal matter, and you can continue to offer the 50 until it is accepted.

A shop can refuse *anything*. Until you have actually made a purchase, a shop has no legal obligation to a shopper. (Apart from peripheral things like Health and Safety). It doesn t have to sell you anything if it doesn t want to.... etc.It s not illegal to refuse your custom either. Mind, they d be daft to do it without good reason.

It would depend on the circumstanceif they believe it to be fake then yes or if they Simply do not have enough change to give you if you pay with a 50 note. However if they do not have enough change they can only ask you to pay by another means...they cant refuse money as that is refusing your custom.

Yes they can. My business would never accept a 50 note as there were and still are, a lot of fakes around. Definitely not against the law.

$10 sounds insane, when they sell for around $5 at many places. What is the wholesale cost to make 1 pizza? -

Not much more

The wholesale cost to make a pizza isn t limited to just the ingredients. Other costs associated with the wholesale price is the cost of:1. The building (rent and utilities)2. Wages3. Taxes4. Licenses5. Advertising/marketing6. Equipment to make and bake a pizzaThese above costs can be small (per pizza) if you sell a huge number of pizzas. But if you sell too few pizzas, these costs will make each pizza too expensive to produce, too expensive to sell.So it s only a guess that the cost to produce one pizza is around $3 for a large volume operation, maybe closer to $5 for a low volume operation, and if you sell one pizza per month, that one pizza will probably cost about $8,000 wholesale.

Depends on the size and toppings, but for example a large cheese pizza costs around 4$ - and that s with pizza sauce and dough made in house.

How all knows about quick profit kit of google? -

I want to make some money for a.t.c? -

i am wanting to make some money for a.t.c (air train corps) i am 13 years old and it is similar to the army u fly planes and go shooting and marching and stuff but i am wanting to raise money for a.t.c and i am doing a stall what is the best things to do to make money ?thank you

At thirteen, thats a tough question. Depends a lot on where you live. In the city/suburbs so you can ride your bike: Will your parents allow you to deliver papers?Like animals? How about dog walking? This is a big responsibility, and you don t want to have the keys to anyone s house. They should be home to hand you the dog (which should be small enough for you to control by yourself, and be well socialized so you don t get bitten. You have to keep an eye out for other people walking with dogs and not let your dog go withing reach of theirs. Also loose dogs can be a problem.Mom s helper: Keep the small kids busy in the yard or playroom(in bad weather). Only while the mom is present.Yardwork: Rake leaves, pick up and pile broken branches. Machine work(mower) only with your parents permission.

Is it legal to cook things in your restaurant with store bought seasonings? -

Say I start a restaurant and my signature recipe is steak but my cooking method involves marinating it in something like a KC Masterpiece marinade. Is this legal or do you have to have the owners permission of that marinade?

You only need permission if you intend to use the name of the product in your advertising or to increase your sales of the product. If you call it a marinated steak you re fine, but if you say KC Masterpiece marinated steak or steak marinated in KC Masterpiece sauce you may want to make an inquiry about permission to the license holder of the KC brand.

if you can buy it in a store, it is legal to use

A business that does small services for other businesses such as: create their PowerPoints, organize their files and creates business proposals (small stuff like that) - what is that type of business called? I am trying to look under the YellowPages for a business such as that I have no idea where to look.

These are B2B Businesses and the services are called B2B services.B2B = Business to BusinessHave a rocking day,Regards,Susan Janes.

They are called Business to Busines Businesses .

What are the best online paid survey sites and how do they work? -

I want to earn some money and i heard about people getting paid online by simply filling out surveys so i was wondering what are the best sites to got to and how do they work?

Those are scams, there are too many people who will survey for free to make any sense at all to pay people for it.

online paid surveys dont exist,A large number of online data entry jobs can be found on the internet. Sadly, some of them are fake and illegitimate.Nowadays, many people even consider all internet data entry jobs from home as nothing but scams because of the rampant cases of fraud that are reported in this area.It is however worth noting that it is still possible to find legitimate work from home opportunities. If you really want to find one, then you should just be careful. You are likely to experience the situation of having to decide whether to pay site to get the online data entry jobs you want or not.Now most sites actually ask you to pay some sign up fee, making it difficult for you to make out the fake sites from the legitimate ones.for FREE legitimate Data Entry Jobs, please visit: -http://www.onlinefreemarketing.ws/

try dailysurveypanel its a good research panel which i recommend you can earn an avg $1 - $4 per surveythe site seems like a scam at first with its weird layout but you ll get used to itof course you won t make as much money doing just one survey site, the method of making money online is by joining multiple survey sitesand you can get paid via paypal so you don t have to wait for a long time for a checkfeel free to email me for proofheres the linkhttp://tinyurl.com/dailysurveypanel

I personally wouldnt bother with any of the sites listed so there, ive used them all and never got paid by any of them! The only good survey company still around is survey adventure, they have loads of surveys, and loads of surveys = lots of $$$they always pay on time and are very reliable, been using them for months now and earnt myself a nice little extra income! :)check them out: http://www.ez-surveys.co.cc completely free to join also.all the bestandy

I ve tried just about every site out there and the best site that have actually paid me is,http://tu.nu/4a/11/abI ve already made $1000+ in cash prizes without spending a penny. Its free to join, they don t ask for your social security number, and you don t need a credit card like most other sites. You don t need to refer a single person in order to receive any of your prizes/payments. And most importantly, it s not a SCAM and I can prove it. But you can get paid by check, you can have the money sent instantly to your PayPal account ($1 min.), E-Gold account, Alert account, Liberty Reserve account, or you can spend your points that you earn to buy anything you want on Amazon. A few ways that you can earn points by completing offers, surveys, playing games or referring other people. But most of the offers are quick, very easy to do, and 100% Free. IMPORTANT STEPS FOR SIGNING UP1. Copy/Paste http://tu.nu/4a/11/ab2. Click on the banner that says, It s Fun and Free Sign Up. 3. Fill out the information with your valid name/address/email etc. (So that way they know where who to ship your prizes/payments. Once you re done they ll send you an email that you ll need to confirm in order to participate.4. Don t forget, you get 250 points for free!!! Use that 250 points to order the Dollar Prize for 144 points. This will verify your account and take you to the bronze level. Also, you should at least try one offer to show you that it really works!*****PROOF OF PAYMENTS*****http://prizesfromp2s.blogspot.com/

The Best Paid Online Surveys are ones approved by the Better Business Bureau. Mindfield Online and Survey Head are two good sites that I would recommend. You sign up for these survey panels and you will be invited to participate in surveys based on your demographics.

Yes you can make money, but you don t make very much. My favorite site (the only one I ve found worth while) is swag bucks. Swag bucks uses a google based seach engine that gives you a chance to win swag bucks when you search. But its slow because you can t just spam searches, only the first 20 searchs you do per day have a chance of winning. you get an average of 1-5 points per day by searching. Since i search everyday anyway I use swag bucks to make a bit of extra cash. I ve gotten a couple 10 dollar gift cards so far and a 50 dollar card. If you re interested you can use this link: http://swagbucks.prodege.com/?cmd=sb-register rb=116419

the sites listed in the other answers are good. I ve done this for a while and had no problems with payments or anything. one site i would recommend is aw surveys cuz they pay like $6 per survey which is really good. heres the link: http://www.AWSurveys.com/HomeMain.cfm?Re

If you have to pay a fee to join a survey site, it s most likely a scam. Check out top 10 sites such as findmysurveys, and others to see what would best for you. Many of them do pay, but don t expect to get rich =)

Good Question!I was once looking for Company where i can do Survey and Get pay.I have join company called Cash Crate , which is http://www.*************/1441142You can join FREE, and prove it to you that people gets pay! (Even youtube video will show you that people do get pay)You can also check it out at BBB.org.I also do other business that i help peoples Legal issue.Which is Pre-Paid Legal this company has been more then 37 years and still growing!!check it out www.prepaidlegal.com/hub/westly62Again, its on BBB, Rated A So NO SCAMS!I hate Scam my self.well good luck!! Westly,

Companies pay market research companies to conduct surveys with panels they have assembled. The easiest way to do this is online. The research company gets paid a fee for each respondent. They market research company will pay a portion of this fee to the survey taker or a website owner to find qualified panelists for their survey. Most online surveys pay panelist $1-$5. They may also offer other incentives like points, prizes, samples, freebies and sweeps entries. If you do an online search for online surveys at first, you ll find mostly companies that are charging a fee for access to these survey companies. In essence you are paying for the convenience of having them do the research for you because all the real survey sites are actually FREE to join.If you dig more, you ll start to find some of the free panels plus sites and blogs that list the free survey sites to join. The best sites don t want your money, credit card or personal information. They just want your honest opinions. Plus they ll reward you in cash and/or points. You can join one panel or several panels. The more legitimate panels you find, the more survey opportunities you ll receive. When you take surveys the researchers are looking for certain demographics, so won t qualify for many of them, but if you take them on a consistent basis, you will begin to earn monthly checks and reward points usually redeemable for gift cards.

I have a buisness but dont have financer how to i find parner? -

i have a buisness but dont have financer how to i find parner

This would depend on the type of business. In some states you can simply go to your local chamber of commence. Contacting people like SCORE or the Association of Retired Business Partners. There are many avenues you can take. Some times simply sitting down with a financial advisor or your local bank will lead you into many directions. Perhaps it isn t a patner you need but a way to get the money on your own.Talk to your local financial institution first. the Small Business Association is another great one to check into. There are many companies that are willing to take risks, I will warn you to have a business plan ready and be sure you can answer ALL questions prior to going.

Tips for starting apartment cleaning business? -

I really need money and just cannot find a job. I live in a very large apartment complex and was thinking I could make some money cleaning apartments for move out and move in. So not maid service but cleaning floors, bathrooms, and kitchens to help people get their security deposits back. I already own most the cleaning supplies necessary, including a carpet cleaner. Any tips on how to get this started, or what to charge? My marketing plan is just to put up flyers by the mail boxes at the complex and maybe a few others in the area.I was not planning on setting this up as a real business but can you think of any insurance I might need?

That s a great idea! I would first have a talk with your apartment manager and find out what is expected to be cleaned for a full refund of deposit. This will give you an idea of what you should charge. Do some test cleaning to figure out how long it takes you to do what the manager has told you. That will give you a general idea for pricing. Usually this type of cleaning is calculated in the $25-$40 per hour range, though you ll need to charge a flat fee-that is paid, at least, upfront so you don t get stiffed.I would get a small amount of liability insurance-it will protect you against claims of damage or theft. Call a lot of insurance agencies and get quotes-the price varies. And, I would get a contract you can use for the renters. I have tons more tips and resources for you on my Squidoo lens-the link is in my profile!

Opening a Club - What are the Dos? What are the Donts? -

I will be going in this as a partnership with someone that is a friend, but not to close of friend where it would alter our friendship. It will be your typical night club, with dancing, drinks, musicWhat are some of the things you like to see when you walk into a club? Some of the things you don t like to see?*To those that have or do own thier own night club - what are some of things i need to stay away from and what are some of the things i cant get enough of?

OK, clubs are dope, but price is a big factor, and venue is also a big factor. drinks can t be too over priced, try to get cigarette companies to pass out free packs, there s always a tall black guy with a duffle bag passing out cigarettes. music is also a factor, try to get top forty and house music,RSVP is lame, just make sure its cheaper before ten.

There are many works at home jobs. Many are genuine also. It is not necessary that whosoever asks for money is a scam. Some ask for money for the site maintenance and some ask money to check the genuineness of the candidate, if he is really interested in the job. Some ask money for premium services and their basic services are free. Nevertheless, visit the source link to know in detail.

Do you think this is a good or bad idea? -

I was thinking about putting a ps3 in my barbershop for customers to play. Do you think that s a good or bad idea? I think they would appreciate it while they re waiting especially younger kids but then I m not sure if it would be a good idea because people might come in just to play or hang out for a long time after they get a haircut then I d have to constantly be telling people to leave. What s your opinion on it?

Good intentions, but maybe not the best idea. Although they have come down in price, kids are not always exactly responsible, and it would give some one that much more reason to break into your store. If you live in a nice area, have good security, and can secure the PS3 so it has a minimal chance of getting broken, and can afford it, sure why not. It might give you or your employees something to do during down time also.

I think it would be a great idea, the town that I live in at the local barber shop has a ps2 nintendo 64.Which really helps when waiting your turn to have your hair cut.No one hangs afterwords to finish the games there were playing,Kids really love it,I know my do.

just like you said is good and bad ...you will get a lot off people hanging around because they will want to finish the game they start it and other people will watch them play..i wouldn t do it.

I would not do it. It may attract the wrong kind of people. Who will hang around you shop driving a way paying customers.

How much would it cost to start a small business in Ethiopia? -

1. Mr. ItsJustMe - Ethiopia s economy has been growing 10+% every year for the past six years. Even in last year s economic crisis, which was caused by greedy people with grubby hands and narrow minds like you. So ...blow me.2. To answer the question, like any other country it all depends on the type and size of the business you plan to start.I m giving you ball park figure here. So you ll have to research more on it.A small business: around 5-60,000 ETB.Medium to Large: around 60-120,000 ETBAnything larger could go to millions. It takes around four days to set up your business license and register. You can visit the Addis Ababa Chamber of commerce at:http://www.addischamber.com/Note: 1USD = 12.7 USD One Love !!!---

The problem is the Ethiopian market are not stable sometime up and sometime down, also the needs of the ethiopian people it s very limited. I know alot of business men lost they money in ethiopia from small business to larg business. Most of them focus on providing services (Which is bad idea there), just try to make your business on products.anyways, all it depends on your business activities, market study and your feasibility study. All the best

I am simply editing Ethio in Ethio and Proud, I can t agree with him more on the rest!!1 USD = 12.7 Ethiopian BirrA small business in agriculture would cost more than what he said, probably 100,000 Eth Birr, or around $8000If it is simple trading kind of stuff, his figures are right. And he is right about the timing too. It has got very fast due to their recent adaptation of the Business Policy Reform (BPR) in most governmental offices in Ethiopia.

Whatever the cost it will be doomed to failure due to the economic depression of that vile country!

My hubby and I are thinking of getting into the rest/deli business. Does anyone know how to go about this? -

We live in Orlando,Fl . Neither of us have any idea on where to start ,or how to go about this. My hubby has been told for years he needs to open a restaurant because he is a natural born expert cook! We just want to start out small. Sandwiches[secret sauce] bakery goods etc...Please advise:-)) Thanks!

Restaurants are really higrisk businesses. The failure rate is extremely high. The first thing you need to do is go to work in a restaurant or deli, for someone else, to learn all the in s and out s of running a business. After a few years of that, you will know if you are suited to running a business. A restaurant is a BUSINESS; being a good cook is not enough, if you aren t in the right location, if you don t fill a needed niche, if there aren t enough potential customers in your area, etc, etc. Here s a LONG list of things to think about:http://www.allfoodbusiness.com/starting_

Do you want the government telling you what to buy at garage sales and flee markets? -

Well I just found out to day that our nanny-state bureaucracy will fine you up to 15 million if you are caught selling anything the gov does not want you to .Main article here:http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,552021,00.html?loomia_ow=t0:s0:a4:g4:r3:c0.000000:b0:z5The Libertarian Party response here:http://www.lp.org/blogs/staff/libertarian-party-quoted-in-product-safety-article

I ve been waiting 6 months for my Congressman to get back to me, I just want permission to use the restroom but I m scared to do so without their permission. The issue has been on the debate floor for 4 months, but the republicans and democrats can t agree on how much of a pay raise for themselves they should tack onto the restroom permission bill. First the republicans suggested 5%, the democrats filibustered and insisted it be at least 8%, but now the republicans are demanding a 10% raise. Meanwhile, here I sit, legs crossed, waiting for permission.

The Libertarian Party response sounds quite reasonable until you recall that many of the recalled toys were sold by some of the largest and most reputable toy makers in the U.S.A.According to Foxnews the government is saying that you cannot sell a product intended for use by children if it was recalled because it could seriously injure a child. If you read the preamble to the Constitution you will see that one of the purposes of forming the nation was to promote the general welfare of the people. The founding fathers defined welfare to mean health, happiness and prosperity. That being the case the government s regulations prohibiting the sale of dangerous products for use by children is not only reasonable, but is proper.Jerry-the-bookkeeper

If it s at a flee market people will be too busy running to buy anything, anyway. If they start regulating flea markets on the other hand, I might have a problem with it.

Nonsense. This is a non-story.

They know what s best for me. i can t make a decision without them.

How does a lawyer get the referrals that lead to actual clients? -

I ve been to networking events and have not been able to get clients yet, just people who take my card and say they re interested or might need help one day.

Well, the way it worked for me was that I happened to get into a certain incident, shall we say. A friend of mine pulled out a card or gave me the number of a lawyer who had helped him out. So, that s networking. Do a client good, and he/she will refer you clients. (By the way, the lawyer didn t help me out at all for my incident really. I was still found guilty (and I was guilty), but I guess he at least smoothed the path and lined his pockets with $1,000 of my money. I would never go to court without a lawyer by my side.---------I know, it makes me sound like a criminal - but no, it was just a foolish young adult thing. I have no need for lawyers anymore now that I m 45 years old.

Can an individual start a successful small home business building go-karts and shifter karts? -

Short answer: yes. Well, maybe.Put together a business plan that details:1. Who your target customers are, how much they re willing to spend on this stuff and how they meet their go-kart needs currently.2. Who your competitors are, and how you can position your business to have sources of competitive advantage: better product, lower price, special features, location, etc.3. What your overhead expenses will be: materials, utilities, loans for equipment you need to purchase, insurance, travel marketing expenses, etc. Then run the numbers! Using conservative estimates, can you sell enough go karts, at enough of a profit margin, to cover your expenses and leave you with an acceptable net profit?

Sure, if you can find people to buy those in this economy.

YES! That may work out to be Very Profitable.
