The problem is the Ethiopian market are not stable sometime up and sometime down, also the needs of the ethiopian people it s very limited. I know alot of business men lost they money in ethiopia from small business to larg business. Most of them focus on providing services (Which is bad idea there), just try to make your business on products.anyways, all it depends on your business activities, market study and your feasibility study. All the best
I am simply editing Ethio in Ethio and Proud, I can t agree with him more on the rest!!1 USD = 12.7 Ethiopian BirrA small business in agriculture would cost more than what he said, probably 100,000 Eth Birr, or around $8000If it is simple trading kind of stuff, his figures are right. And he is right about the timing too. It has got very fast due to their recent adaptation of the Business Policy Reform (BPR) in most governmental offices in Ethiopia.
Whatever the cost it will be doomed to failure due to the economic depression of that vile country!
