How can I make my FLEA MARKET stand more attractive? -

Im looking into setting up a stand in a local flea market. I will be selling designer shirts and sweatshirts. How should I decorate my stand to make people look. Or how can I attract people better?

post #1 is somewhat right with the show something they MUST have..put something that is eyecatching out (one of your money or eyecatching pieces). makes sure everyone can notice it (eye level or body level). you ll need various sizes of clothing racks. two of them need to go front to back on the sides of your stall. People should be ab le to come in to your stall but without feeling like they need to purchase if they come in. people won t come in if they feel like the must buy if they do come in...SO.... put the eye catching (not gaudy looking, but noticable i.e, not plain looking) items on another SHORT clothing rack in front of the other two (like an inverted letter T . these racks are not going to be long in length because you will block your entrance if they are long. This will allow people to look without feeling like they need to come in and commit . Then, line the back of your stall with the rest of your clothing racks and your merchandise hang a few up so that the pattern of shirt or whatever is looking out at the people of course.needless to say, you will wear your designer stuff and it will look hot awesome classy cool or whatever on you.when someone lifts something up, you select something similar that you believe is better/equally as good...no preasure, but make your stuff known to the potential client.

well there is plenty of things that you can do. one thing is get a sign/banner of you business or what your selling. get racks and put them in the front of you stand ( most attractive item ). have every thing spread out and easly to see and easy to get the customers attention. that will pull them in and then you can probully sell them something. also take pride in your small business make sure you and your stand looks tidy and orgnized. follow these instructions and you should find yourself sucessful.

well the way i do it is bring some item that people would stop to look at but even if you dont intend to sell it for example take lap top or flat screen tv or some nice car speakers to catch some ones eye if they ask how much give them a price exceeding what its worth that way they probably wont shell out the cash but they still stopped and will probably look at the other things you have for sale also have a nice presentable area

Ebay selling with a reserve. my auction just ended and I need help.? -

I ve sold some sunglasses and the reserve hasn t been met. it went straight to the unsold section. I still want to sell the glasses to the highest bidder. what do I do?

if I m thinking correctly, there should be a second chance offer button somewhere in the options of the unsold item. just click that then go to the highest bidders name and send it to him/her. you could always set up the auction again and get the buyer to bid for how much he/she won them for then end the auction early with him/her as the winner. then send the invoice for payment.

Trying to do some personal accounting. I received a check payment of $100. how do i record it in bookkeeping? -

I love baking cakes , I work full time in real estate and I am a mother of 2, How can I start a cake business? -

Having my own cake shop is my dream, how can I start small?

Start your cake business. However, most of new marketers have only the slightest ideas on where to start, and a lot of them are not willing or able to invest a startup capital in their business. However, it is almost impossible to start an business without spending some money on basic infrastructure. The very first option, if you have no money to start off your business, is to earn some capital using your already existing skills or knowledge. You can give tuition to students on your dominant subject in college, you can teach stuff about your hobby to people who are interested, you can write guides on knowledge or skills you picked up through experience and cannot be found in theoretical books. The fastest, most effective and easiest way to build your own business empire is through joint ventures.

I would first just start to bake cakes for family and friends. Maybe some parents in your kids classes need cakes for birthdays, etc. I would also look into your state laws and regulations. I know that in VT, if you make under a certain amount per week, you do not need someone to come in to look at your house before you sell baked goods. Also, look into local farmer s markets, craft fairs, bake sales, etc. All of these places are great ways to get your name out there!

start by getting some cards made up, do jobs for friends and family and ask them to pass your card along to others (give the extras of course), then when the people from the extra cards call, give them extra cards, and be sure to ask what people thought about your cake, feed back will help you improve your baking and your service!

try bake sales or flea market, where you will feel out the public s reaction to your products.after that its all downhill

How do you pick a good product/service and problem when writing a business proposal? -

Not a real business proposal but one for a class.

The goal of business proposal writing is to answer your customer s questions and persuade them to select you. Business proposal writing should be more about your customer than it is about you. Outline a two-part proposal. The first part will describe the business opportunity and your plans to take advantage of it. The second will present financial data - tax returns, a balance sheet and a summary of your operating plan. Few guidelines that I keep in mind when I develop a business proposal for a client are clarity, error free, layout, visual elements, title page, politically correctness, jargon free, etc. Describe your expectations regarding revenue and cash flow for the first year. Discuss how much money you think you will need to get started, how it will be used, and where you plan to obtain it. I would also love to share a website http://www.fintel.us/ which can help you in getting solution of any business and finance related problems.

What franchise business is right for me? -

I have begun researching options for businesses to buy and have read the research that indicates franchises have a better success rate. Is there an online resource to narrow down the 1000 s of potential franchises? The large franchise sites are just overwhelming.

I understabd your frustration, d.If you re seriously considering franchising, perhaps you have a plan of surfing the net or reading some popular franchise magazines in order to find the one best suited for you. Sure, the web is clearly a wealth of information on every topic imaginable. But while it s a great place to shop for a pair of gold earrings or a new cardigan sweater, it s a lousy place to conduct an effective franchise search. Trying to find your ideal franchise using this strategy will, at best, completely overwhelm and frustrate you. Most franchise seekers have absolutely no idea of what is involved in carrying out a thorough franchise investigation on their own. Aside from the financial investment, there is a substantial time commitment to consider. Try conducting this search alone and you ll see what I mean. An experienced franchise consultant can effectively and efficiently streamline the entire search process for you, sparing you all the aggravation and headaches mentioned above. A franchise consultant is a recruiter for the franchise industry and a trusted source of solid business opportunities. He helps to clearly identify an appropriate franchise vehicle through the process of effective qualifying, matching, and presenting. There are several major advantages and benefits to using the services of a seasoned franchise consultant. Here are just 5:1. The entire service is free to you, the candidate. The consultant is paid by the franchisor for referring a qualified individual, both financially and professionally, who ultimately purchases a franchise.2. The consultant has pre-screened hundreds of top franchises for you. Only the ones that meet the highest of standards will be presented to you. Top new and established opportunities are added regularly.3. Complete professional and personal profile is conducted. Your consultant pinpoints the perfect opportunity for you based on your interests, talents, background, and goals. 4. Professional introduction to the franchisor. After you are presented with an opportunity that excites you and that you want to pursue, your consultant takes you to the front of the line and makes the introduction between you, the candidate, and the franchisor. The franchisor will respect you immediately, knowing that you, the candidate, are both qualified and ready to move forward.5. Thorough education provided on investment options and types of ownership. Most franchise seekers aren t aware of the costs involved in purchasing a specific franchise, and the consultant offers vast insight into the various types of franchises and their investment requirements. He can also suggest financing options that were never considered. As you can clearly see, all three parties-the franchise seeker, the franchisor, and the consultant-win in this very productive business relationship. Unless you are absolutely positive about the specific franchise you wish to pursue (and are fully qualified in every way), it would be a big mistake to not utilize the free services of an experienced franchise consultant. I ve written 35 articles on the topic of franchising. Feel free to read some for a better understanding on how it works:http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Cory_BaLet me know if I can help you further.

As you look for franchises first look at yourself. What are your interests? What are you willing to do? What is required to run those franchises? How much money will be needed to start? Have you researched the ones that interest you? Do you know anyone doing those franchises? Are you ready to make NO MONEY for the first year or two? Most business are NOT successful. What advantage do you have for a sucessfull franchise? By asking these questions and more it should help you fine tune a selection.

Buying competitors comapny name and he doesnt know it? -

A guy I hate owns a cab company that has had its registered name with the state expire a few months ago. I found out today and plan on registering the business name under mine tomarrow morning at the state capital as soon as they open. Do you think I can get in trouble if I tell google to take his phone number off google maps before telling him seeing that the names been expired for more than 5 months already, and do you think I can legally rent or sells the name to him if I so desire or should I just tell him to completely change his company name? Also, I am going to register the name as a limited liablitly corporation, so would that prevent him from being able to use the same name, even if he was to try to use it as an incorporated business?

Sounds perfectly legal to me. You may also want to trade mark the term, AND register its domain name, just to completely **** him off. Of course, he may have let it lapse because he s planning to get out of the business or change names. :)The problem is, if he s actually in the business, and you re NOT really in the business, just to annoy him, then the judge may decide that he really DOES own that trade name after all, and order you to give it back. But does he have enough $$$ to spend on lawyers? Or will he just pay you $$$ to go away? Hmmm... Risks and potential gains...

If he wanted to pursue it, he might be able to make a case with a judge that he still owns that name. So you might go through all of this for naught. Why are you letting him control your life this way? What sort of hold does he have on you that it keeps you from running your business and running all over town wasting time trying to irritate him? I can t see the benefit to you. But, it must be very, very important to you to get this done or you would not be expending so much time, thought, and energy on it. Good luck.

Computer Repair business annual income? -

Hey will be starting my own pc repair business soon, performing in house and out call repairs. Wondering what the yearly income for this business type on average is. Was unable to find via google and various entrepreneur sites I subscribe to.

It depends on whether you charge an hourly rate or a flat fee.I repair LCD monitors and laptops for a living and charge a flat fee of $75-200 per repair job. This can be anything from fixing a 17 monitor screen that has gone dark, to completely upgrading a laptop.Annually, it works out to an earnings of $30,000-40,000Obviously, some months are better than others.

it does not really matter; i presume you are writing a biz plan.you will list a desired take home pay per hour.put that into your income statement/proforma andbalance sheet and work backwards and you will havean idea what you need to charge.I can guide you further

Are Pawn Shops basicall just a holding area for your stolen goods? -

Does it seem like any reasonable person who wanted to sell something would do it on ebay or amazon? Why would anyone still use a pawn shop? Because they are a criminal, that s why! Buying items from a pawn shop should be illegal. They should just turn all that stuff into the police, cause you know it s all stolen! Freakin Jerks!

No. Pawn shops are strictly regulated by local police authorities. And all incoming merchandise are reported against a stolen items database before being resold to the public. Your outrage towards pawnshops is not warranted.Good luck!

not so much anymore yes in the past it was not regulated and a lot tof the items where stolen but not so much anymore Im sure with pawn shops as well as ebay or amazon a certain amount of buyer bewear is warrented
