Im going to start a small trading company, i need help how get the tin no. and cst no.? -

Contact an auditor or local Tax practitioner. Before that get ready the following documents.Address Proof of proprietor/partners- (also partnership Deed in case of Partnership firm). Proof of ID such as Ration card, voter ID, Driving licence, Pass port or Pan Card (any of the said ids). 3 Photos of the proprietor/partner. Prepare a list of Items propose to dealt (for manufacture- resales- packing etc). Explain the auditor about the structure of your business and proposals in the business so that he/she can guide you well regarding all the necessary registrations required for your business. Find out whether your business structure requiresTIN- CST registrationService Tax RegistrationESI- PF registrationLocal authority RegistrationFirm RegistrationMSME registration in case of Service or manufacturing unitMake every thing very clear with an experienced auditor or Tax practitioner and venture for it. Other wise there will be lot of corrections amendments in the certificates

YOU SHOULD PRODUCE YOUR PAN CARD, ADDRESS PROOF AND SSI CERTIFICATE (OPTIONABLE) TO YOUR AUDITOR. IT WILL TAKE 15 DAYS TIME. IF YOU NEED TNGST NUMBER, YOU SHOULD GO TO SALES TAX OFFICE WITH YOUR RC ,COMPANY MAP, ID PROOF, ADDRESS PROOF AND CURRENT ACCOUNT STATEMENT.

You have to have open a firm first then register it for VAT CST at the commercial tax office of your area. You would require documents like PAN No. lease deed proof of residence etc for getting registered there shall also be a deposit you would have to pay

You can start yr.business parallely apply for VAT TIN NOS. at the Sales Tax office of yr.town.You can always attach the photocopy of application,while doing the transaction till the time yr.these sales tax nos.are not allotted.
