Am opening a new company that will run restaurant and coffee shop business need a nice name? -

Never pick a name for your business that doesn t say what you will do for the client. The Rain Forest is a nice name, but already exits (http://www.rainforestcafe.com/). In addition, it says nothing ABOUT your business. I know of a company which named itself Sylvia Beach and Company . AT first I thought it was a CPA or maybe an Advertising company. No, it was a BOOK STORE AND TOBACCO SHOP. (WTF? is what I thought) Apparently, the owner chose the name from an obscure poem about going to Sylvia Beach to read and smoke a pipe . Can you guess how long it took them to close? If by your description, you are going to open a restaurant or Coffee shop, choose a name which states the product - or rather what you are going to do for the customer . Mr. Beans Coffee shop , C.B. Roasters Coffee and Sandwich Shop or even use a location type name such as East End Coffee Shop , Downtown Coffee Stop In each of these names, you tell the customer what you are going to do for them as well as where you are. Very important in starting a small business. EAch time the name is uttered, you get a flavor of what type of business AND where to find it. I hope this has been helpful in choosing a good name.

How about running a competition in your area through your local newspapers, or with local secondary schools/colleges etc to get all the locals to come up with a name. That way you get free PR in the local newspapers, school/college newsletters etc both announcing the competition in the first place and then announcing the winner, perhaps with a photo of you handing the competition winner their prize (which doesn t have to be expensive - how about an MP3 player for a tenner?) and if you get photographed with the winning name/logo being held up too then it gets it in front of people right from the start. then once they start to see your business up and running they will already be familiar with the logo/name etc and your business will have instant credibility. This is just an idea - adapt it at will!Best of luck with your new businessRebecca :)

....you have to think of all the aspects of the situation my man...look:1.)location... If i was in a place like seattle, or any west coast city I would go with something like Earth ..could have some pretty interesting interior designs with that, and you could keep yourself somewhat green for the earth itself. east coast, depending on north or south, you would have to look at your surroundings, who are you attracting. how will you market it, and advertise.but my overall name of a coffeshop is the rain forest ....ultimate spot to relax and drink coffee..Real tree s, water features, comfy chairs and low tables. wifi, outlets.could be epic.think about it, your patrons... meet me at the rainforest for a coffee dude no doubt, we shoud smoke first

How to Save Money Buying Popular New Products? -

The first step to saving money buying popular new products is to wait two months after the release of the product to buy it. When a product is first released and it is very popular, people will pay almost anything to get it and people selling these items know that. Wait until two months after product is released, the hysteria of the product dies down, and then you can start to get good deals on these products.he second step is to go to internet auction sites to buy these products. You can often find popular items at a fraction of the price you would find them at in retail stores. Do a search for the product and compare the different listings(make sure the item is marked new or new in box by the seller. The third step is to buy the product in an auction style format, instead of the fixed price format on the internet auction site. You can usually find better deals by going into the auction instead of buying the product at a fixed price listing. To really get a great deal pick an auction that ends at an hour when most people will not be up, such as 3am-4am. This will reduce the number of people who will be up to bid at the final minutes of the auction(where most bidding takes place).

I want to start an online Asian (indian/Pakistani) clothing website..? -

Someone please give me some help/guidance/point in the right direction!I currently work full time in housing and would like a career change eventually. i want to create a online ready made clothing store for Asian women. I have so many ideas about what i want it to be and although i am not a designer i have ideas about certain styles and designs i would like. I am firstly looking for a wholesaler who supplies asian ready made clothes who supplies to small business. I am struggling as i cannot find anything good on the web! secondly i think i will also need to know how to get certain designs and ideas manufactured! is there a certain someone i can go to for advice on this. i really believe this will work but feel i have no idea what to do where to begin! Do i do a fashion design course/ business course... do i need to??

You don t really need a degree for it but you need reliable suppliers to supply you the clothing. Best thing to do is to go to India or Pakistan and buy the clothing yourself, then put them up for sale on your website. I know a few local Pakistani designers so if you can t find anything them e-mail me and I ll hook you up.

Free sites are pretty crapy and you get swamped with annoying adverts of which you have no control over!!!I have just bought a ((mr site)) brand new off e-bay apx 28.00 and no more costs for another year. I think the next year payment will be around the same to keep it for another year. Quite easy to use if you have a pretty good knowledge of computers. Mail me for any more info regarding mr site if your interested??

Yeah yeah yeah, once again you have chosen, the easy way out, it won t help. Bonzo is soliciting business making a commision off your naivity, Grow -up get a job and learn, because, decisions like this will certainly risk the longevity of time your business remains, in business. Report Abuse

for that my suggestion ishttp://biznuss.net/index.htmli hope it will be beneficial for youkeep using answers.yahoo.com

you usually cannot get a free website if you plan on having online shopping

Here s the problem, and it s a huge problem with many of today s youth. They want it now, they want it free and they want to do it from home. Business and life isn t like that. You get out of something what you put into it. If it s free it isn t worth much, is it? Also, if it s free your effort will be half a$$ed and you will never make the total effort you will need to sustain the focus and dedication to making it work. Like in business and life: nothing ventured nothing gained and it takes money to make money, always precedes lack of confidence and preparation. Prepare to be good or even to be the best by studying what others before you have done, find out what worked and what didn t. By coming to answers to get a quick fix to something that really and truly could prove to be your life long career isn t coming up with a good plan. Taking business classes, reading all the books ever writen about the types of goods and gifts you are going to focus on in your shoppe, by taking notes of important processes like where to buy, what to buy, how to market and you will come up with the plan of all plans and your mom she will end up closing the diner to be your partner in the shoppe. A couple more things, the shoppe has to have easy access and good parking, a great location with tons of walk in traffic and your focus on your kei items might turn to focussing on the importance of reading and literacy for youth and children, kinda like building a better today so tomorrow is even better. Experience working in a shoppe is mandate. Go to the store you want to work at and go there every day until they hire you so you can learn first hand how to buy how to receive check in and stock goods. Learn customer service by giving it. Prepare to win or lose. Easy enough for sports but more importantly easy enough for success as well.

How do i block people with zero feedback from my ebay auction? -

I am trying to sell an expensive item, and the past experience i had, was that scammers with zero feedback would always bid on my item in the last minute of the auction. How do i block these people. PLEASE DONT REPLY SAYING EBAY DOESNT HAVE THIS OPTION, because they recently do, i just cant find out how to do it.

1. Log on to your ebay account, 2. go to my ebay3. go to site map at the top right (under the help ) 4. in the middle column under sell go to Buyer Block Exemption List 5. Then click on buyer block under Buyer Block Exemption List 6. It will take you to this page: http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BuyerBlockPreferences 7. then go to the bottom, to Buyers who may bid on several of my items and not pay for them 8. then check off the second one Only apply this block to buyers who have a feedback score of __ or lower. And scroll down to 0 9. and then you can also check of the last one Apply above settings to active and future listings.

Unfortunately eBay does not allow sellers to set buyer requirements to block buyers simply because they have no feedback. You can block buyers with a negative feedback score (-1, -2, or -3), but if their feedback score is 0 or above there is no option provided by eBay to automatically prohibit them from bidding on your auction. There was an option a few years ago that you could use, but eBay did away with that when they made their sweeping changes last year (along with prohibiting sellers from leaving neutral and negative feedback). The only way for you to block a buyer with zero feedback is to individually enter their name into your blocked bidders list manually.

When you re on the page where you create your listing, at the bottom in Other things you d like buyers to know , just click on Add Buyer Requirements and you can choose the options. You may first have to click Add or Remove Options and check the box by Block certain eBay users from buying my items.
