I came up with a very simple devise that would (could) have stopped many airplanes from crashing. Could be made in any garage, basement or kitchen for that matter, just with stuff laying around the house.

I m pretty sure that you need to prove that you bought it...so that would kind of require a receipt. I m not sure though, I usually don t bother returning stuff so I d ask if you need it, you might not. They might just be happy to take it for store credit, maybe.

In my experience with Walmart, you would need a receipt to get your money back along with your driver s license. If you don t have a receipt they will give you store credit but you also need your driver s license. They won t even talk to you with out that driver s license. They made me go out to the car to get it.

Each store has their own policy on returns and they re usually posted in customer service areas. When I worked at a certain store, we could only do cash refunds if you provided the receipt, otherwise we would give you that cash amount back on a gift card so you could only use that money in our store.

Why does my employer want me to incorporate and become an independent contractor? -

I work for a company as a service representative. They pay me a salary, a set amount for expenses and commission on the accounts I service. They used to just pay me directly but now they are demanding I incorporate. They said they will pay the fees.Anyone know why they would want me to do it? Will this help or hurt me when it comes to taxes?

This is BS.They want you to incorporate so they can claim they are outsourcing the work to a corporation and then just write you a check. They want all risks, burderns, taxes, etc. to be your problem. They most certainly won t be paying you enough to do this. Besides, an employee is NOT a contractor. You, in turn, would then have to track all income, all expenses and issue yourself a W-2. See IRS pub 1779 and form ss-8.

you need all SORTS of things to do this aside from just a license ... first of all we don t know what country you re in, so we don t know which laws apply to you, but.. if you re in the states, you will need to have all sorts of permits, safety measures in your laboratory , pay fees to the government, have it approved as safe for human consumption and all sorts of stuff.. If you re going to put something on a person s body, you need to pay a lot of money to have the products verified as safe to use. you can t just start mixing stuff up in your bathroom sink, throw it in bottles and put it on the shelf at the grocery store. I know that is a fact, but... i don t know where to begin. i think realistically you could probably get away with doing it for a little while, but you ll need to make enough money quickly to be able to afford to pay the stuff when they catch you. that s not the best way to do business. it s better to do the research first and take care of the things before they come to YOU. let s say you have all of that in place.... the next thing you need to do is set up a limited liability company, then learn the specific differences between that and a sole proprietorship. then you need to put those things into action so you have true limited liability -which helps you in case your business fails or if you get sued. honestly a corporation is probably the BEST way to go but it costs more than you ll be making at first so not worth it immediately. once you have the LLC, you need to set up a bank account.. you need an accountant to help you handle your money. you may say i m good with money but... unless you know what a form K does then you need an accountant. one that will help with your business taxes, figure out gains and losses, business expenses vs personal, etc etc etc etc.. as far as the product yourself, you ll need to figure out how to get the supplies as cheaply as possible and how to turn a profit on them. you will need an advertising campaign (several) in order to get the word out there for your products. you will need to pay people to make the products and put them in containers and get ready for sale.. all said and done, you re looking at spending i m going to guess 15k per month between hiring 2 minimum wage employees, paying yourself, having an office, paying taxes, and all of the other crap that you have to do.... there are about a hundred things i m not listing here that you will need to pay monthly. long story short, it may COST you $7 to make 1 piece of product..... it may cost you 10... how much can you sell it for at WHOLESALE? if you sell to a retailer, they may SELL that product for $10 which means you re taking a loss by selling it to them for 5.... you re losing 50% at that rate... what i m saying i guess is... if you want to do this the right way and actually make a viable business out of it, you re going to need a LOT of start up capital, and a LOT of knowledge... you can start small, like maybe with a few thousand dollars and work from home for a while, but eventually you ll need to spend money to make money... i m mostly worried about all the crap you ll have to go through to legally sell makeup to the public though. and like i said, i don t know where to start. there are a lot of other aspects to this that i haven t gotten into, but this is a lot of info to start with.. good luck

I m selling products on Ebay and dropships to the buyers. Someone bought the products for $269.99 and it cames to my PayPal account. But I can transfer it to my individual banking account once it clears, stating I have to either ship the item to him first, have a positive feedback, or wait after 21 days. If I open up a business bank account number and change that, would I then be able to transfer it before I ships the product and don t have to worry about paypal holding the money anymore?

Paypal is used as a fair system between the buyer and the seller, the seller must deposit the funds before you send the items. Once they have received the item they can then give positive feedback or wait 21 days until the time to give feedback runs out, once this is done you can get your funds from Paypal. It covers both parties. The only way to get your money faster is too ask the buyer that if they are happy could they be quick in responding with their feedback. Also if you open a bank account and request that they pay directly to your business account, you will lose a significant amount of customers because they will not want to take the risk with a fairly large amount. They are not covered by Paypal s insurance. By all means deposit the Paypal funds into a business account once completed, but my opinion as a consumer is that if you request to take away the fairest system between seller and buyer and go direct you will scare away potential business.

It can be advantageous to start bidding out at (1) cent because it encourages more bids. Usually, depending on the nature of the item, the seller could be trying to make up the difference on the shipping charges. Generally speaking, it is against eBay policy to sell known fakes/knockoffs etc. As recently as maybe 18 mos ago, sellers were circumventing the eBay fee structure!. Let s say you had an item worth 10 bucks, but the item was small, and only cost 1 dollar to ship. The seller charges 9.99 shipping and sells the item for 1 cent! The TOTAL sale is 10 bucks..., but the seller pays ebay ZERO commission on the actual sale price of (1) cent item. The seller sold their item for 10 bucks, but paid no commission (fee) to eBay. More profit for the seller! eBay has cracked down on this somewhat, but it still happens quite frequently. Because of these types of fee circumvention techniques, eBay imposed limits on the amount of shipping that can be charged in certain categories. For instance; if you sell one DVD , the maximum amount of shipping charge that the system will accept is like 3 dollars. This is to prevent people from charging 14.99 to ship the DVD, and selling the item at a (1) cent sale price!

He shouldn t be nagging you the way he is, he s only putting a noose around his neck by doing so. He SHOULD be focusing on making relations better with you and with the customers.Give him warning but be prepared to fire him if he doesn t shape up. Ask yourself, How much is this employee worth to my company? Firing him might be a wake-up call for him. His life might be better for it.Always put principles first.

I feel your pain, experienced this a lot myself and every time I am caught off guard for a second. When someone asks you for a raise out of the cycle of normal reviews it is very difficult. Often, though it is due to a personal financial problem but it can be because of other things (so an so got a raise and I do more than them). As you go through this remember others associates are watching and taking in how well or poorly you handle the situation. How to open an animal shelter? -

So i am a huge animal lover. I myself have 3 cats, a dog and two rats. It is my dream to open my own shelter to help adopt out animals who deserve second chances. I know it is gonna take years of work but I am willing to do what i need to to get this dream going. I don t know too much about starting a shelter but I do volunteer at my local humane society. The shelter I volunteer gets their pet mostly from owner surrender. At any one time they can have, just cats, up to 300. Then add in the dogs and small animals. Now they each need $25 for food and toys for each individual. Most states require you have to spay/neuter all adopted pet, so you would need a vet and a vet tech. If you take volunteers, this is what I do, they can take cats or dog home with them for a few weeks so the can heal/recover away from other sick animals. Most of the cats that get sick at shelters get URI (upper respiratory infection), these cat get daily meds., so you would also have to buy those, and their foster parents administer the meds.Just a few random things I can remember right now. Although they have come down in price, kids are not always exactly responsible, and it would give some one that much more reason to break into your store. I can only circle one of four options on the business tax application for this city. I know I m not technically a president or C.E.O. so I have to choose between Owner or Corporate Registered Agent. However I don t know if there is a difference between registered agent or corporate registered agent, especially because an LLC technically is not a corporation.
