What is a good business to start with little investment? -

I really want the freedom of owning my own business but I don t have much start up money. I m an electrician but to start my own company is alot of money and alot of risk. If I had the money I d give it a shot but I won t take out a loan. So I m thinking of a smaller investment business to come up with money for my electric business.I tried ebay. I couldn t compete with other peoples low prices

Stick with what you know. Being an electrician is a valuable skill. Maybe you can work with local contractors, being a sub on their projects. Since you may be competing with other electricians that may bring your own materials, maybe you can offer a discounted labor rate if the contractor provides the materials for you.Another thing - you should really reconsider your thoughts about borrowing money. Most businesses have had to borrow money to start or to expand at one time or another. While I can understand the desire to be debt-free. sometimes it s really necessary to borrow money in order to make things happen.

You may not have time during the week, but maybe you could find a weekend only job? For example, during high school, my brother worked Saturday and Sunday mornings at a bakery, which was great for him because it didn t interfere with his sports, and the bakery was happy to have him on the busy weekends without him trying to get shifts at other times.

If you don t have time to earn money try cutting out some of the activities that cause you to spend money this way you will free up some time to get a job

There is no no return policy on eBay. If they say an item is significantly not as described they can always return it, and you can t stop them unless you prove they re lying. They just don t take it back instantly though. they usually go through paypal who lets you know it s coming. Once it arrives, you can look it over and contact paypal if it arrived damaged. (It sounds like you didn t respond to paypal emails. (Your spam filter might have caught them.)I ve been buying on selling on eBay for many years, and have been on both sides of Paypal s system. My best advice is don t sell trash , but there are some people who complain and want $ back even if it s perfect. good for buyers, not sellers.

I will be driving my van, set up as a mobile espresso unit, to businesses to serve their coffee needs. I will also be going to events such as sporting events, Christmas Parades, etc. Brewed Awakenings was one that I saw, but that is taken already... locally. Thanks for any suggestions! :)
