How do I give watchers more confidence in buying? -

So I m selling this effanbee doll on eBay with six watchers and it s ending at about 3 o clock today. What s the best thing to say to make potential bidders less hesitant to buy?

There isn t anything you can do.I ve seen sellers go in and brag about how many watchers they have. That s a turn off.I ve seen sellers go in and raise the price--also a turn off.I ve seen sellers go in and lower the price in the hopes that they can trigger a bidding war and then only get one bid (but you ll never know if that person would have bid or not). Some watchers have similar items and want to know if yours sells before spending listing fees to list theirs.

What does it involve to sell Avon? -

I am 24 and I am considering selling Avon and so I m doing a little research. So far I know that it costs $10 for the kit to start and it cost to buy the campaign brochures. I m nervous about having to spend to much out of pocket money. At about how much do you have to sell to start turning a profit? Also is there any reps out there that has some great suggestions to share about how to make good sales?

Honestly, I think you ll do well with whatever you decide to do. One, because you are doing your research and two, because you don t want to spend too much out of pocket to get going. Those are the two big mistakes most people make.I m with Scentsy, not Avon. But, I understand your situation. I paid for the starter kit and then I only bought a few business essentials. Once my first paycheck paid for my starter kit, everything from that point on is profit. I put my first couple checks into my business and after that, my money is working for me. It s been great. The hard part about Avon is they have many different campaigns and it could be difficult on the pocket book. So while their starter kit is cheap, they ll get you on the catalogs.I wish you the best of luck! I hope it works well for you.Lisa

I sold for about 6 months and never made any money to speak of. I quit after two customers didn t pay me, saying they were short and would give it to me later but never did.

Avon is an old reputable company but they have a ton of reps so it can be difficult to build a customer base with so much competition. There are a lot of other companies out there that use independent representatives or distributors to market their products. I would do some research and take a look at some other opportunities before signing up. You will find other companies out there that have fewer reps and a larger profit margin. It does take some out of pocket investment to start a business. You need buy marketing materials like catalogs or brochures and it helps to have at least a small supply of some products or samples to show people. Having a website is important these days, too. It takes time to build a customer base, so don t expect to make a lot of money the first year. Look for a company with products that you would use yourself so you can use any leftover products that you buy. Take advantage of the rep/distributor discount and save money by purchasing products from the company that you would purchase anyway either for yourself or as gifts. Since you would be buying these products anyway you can save money while investing in your business. You may also be able to write off many of your expenses from your income taxes which also saves you money. If you choose a good company with consumable products (ones that people use and replace over and over again), work your business like a real business, take advantage of training and stick with it, over time your customer base will increase and your income will grow.Good luck in whatever you decide to do.

How do websites get paid? -

Some websites earn money by allowing people to advertise on their website. Others have people pay to use certain functions of the site.

Usually advertisers pay them, depending on how popular the site is, a certain amount of money to put an advertisement on their site.

Advertising.. Companies pay to have themselves advertised on websites.

i have made a website in which companies can upload there products online + we advertise there products f+ we make for the companies marketing reaserch .. all of that is for 150$/year , is the price good is it normal , or expensive , or cheap??? , the point is i dont have any company yet iam still new so do i make it for free first ?? or it doesnt matter? , thanks ., and if i send to companies how long will i wait for results , . and here it is www.izync.org. thanks again

You may have to contact 100 companies before you get your first customer. Unless you are already famous, it always takes a long time to get your business started.Yes, you could offer your services free to the first 3 customers. But that can backfire as you might attract people who don t want to pay anything.Try to visit your target businesses in person to talk to the owners. See if there is something that they need. If you can provide what they need, you might get your business going faster.
