Who can I sell Party Light Candles to? -

I am selling candles for college tuition money but no one wants to buy them. I really need to sell these candles and I really want to go to college help me! I need tips on what i can do ASAP.

In addition to the economy causing people to cut their spending, t is becoming more difficult to sell Partylite and other candles that are made from paraffin wax. Paraffin is a petroleum-based product and paraffin candles are loosing market share as people are switching to green candles made from natural, renewable resources like vegetable and plant waxes. To earn money for your college tution, you might want to consider selling a different product that is more consistent with current buying trends.

How can i earn money from home? -

i already tried surveys, but most of them dont pay much!! are the websites that required you to pay better?? thank you for your help!

You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies. You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job. These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as work at home because they would hear from too many unqualified people,

Starting a teen business? -

I m a home-schooled senior looking to start my own business as a personal assistant in CA. I need some advice... I m trying to appeal to local business companies, home business owners, busy moms, disabled/elderly ones. Basic errands, office work, or delivery services within a 10 mile radius. I want to offer different payment options. How should I charge for gas, lets say if they want me to exceed my travel area by 10 more miles? How should I charge for last minute cancellations? I want to offer a flat rate thats also worth my while? Any suggestions?

You can try a completely free home based online business.

well for gas you could charge $5 -home business owners... depending on what business they do you could do about $20-$30-elderly/disabled... depends how long you help them... 1-2 hours: $10... 3-5 hours.: $20... all day: $30-busy moms... if you are talking about watching kids then about $15 for 1 kid $20 for 2 kids $35 for 3 $45 for 4 and $55 for 5-doing chores... dishes and cleaning and laundry ect.. about $20 a day-delivery... $20so on average $20-$30answer mine please!!!http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;

Your a teen, so generally speaking this isnt a good idea. Errands for strangers. Just not good. BUT, there is a way. Start with family. Let your clients begin with family and their close friends. Like coworkers of like 10 or more years. Mothers and Grand Mothers of close friends. Even choose your local senior citizen center. You can charge $3 for seniors for up to 3 or 5 tasks. If you get 10 Seniors thats $30 and gas is like $3 for 20miles of driving. Thats your best bet. Low on cancellations, good client base. Get an accordion file so you can put envelopes of money and instructions in each area. Clients that come back get their name out on a file area in the accordion file. Get a toll free number from www.onebox.com for like $12 a month an forward that to your cell. Get free business cards at www.vistaprint.com and get a professional brochure for your business at www.stocklayouts.com. You would charge for daily or single errand. Make a list of what you think people need. Get medicine, grocery shopping, personal shopper, laundry drop off and pick up, dry laundry drop off and pick up, babysitting, etc etc Make some things by hour and some by errand. Consider $2.50 for gas and $2.50 for yourself. Then the errand charge. So if Laundry drop off and pick up is $5 then add $5 and the fee is $10. Or make it 8 or 9 and they will give you a 10 dollar bill and you keep the tip. Minimum $5 charge. Daily Errands or DE s (created your lingo already lol) are your bread and butter. If you can get a routine going its gaurenteed income. Lets say 5 clients @ $10 a day thats $50 a week. Or 10 clients or 2 a day for the week @ $10 each is $100 a week. Not bad for a teen. Just make sure to open a bank account and always put 20-30% of what you make in the bank and dont touch it. Save until your 21-22 and you will be amazed. Be your first car money =) Save $25 a week = $1200 a year $30 a week = $1440 a yearAsk your parents about what I said and show them the websites. They might have something to add to what I said. Dont think immediately that you wont ask them. Usually if you have a good plan they will back you up and help.Good luck and be safe. Make sure you have them fill out a application. Includes their name, address, home number, cell number, job number, and on the back of this application without them knowing it put their license plate number get a birth month and day to send them birthday cards. But your getting the information for your safety =) $5 minimum covers your gas and alittle something for yourself. Thats 10miles of driving and $2.50. The rest is profit. So always start you prices at $5 plus whatever your going to charge for the fee. If the errand is $0 add $5 for a total fee of $15. But your clients should NEVER know this. This is a business owners eyes only. When you charge $15 they shouldnt know how your money breaks down. Maybe you can give birthday errands for free IF they are a regular client and you have used them alot before.

What are the worst days for a bakery to be open? -

What do you think are the worst two days for a bakery to be open and why?also, approximately how much does it cost for ingredients for a small bakery either weekly or monthly. also monthly utilites cost for the small bakery and what kind of permits and legal whatnot do i need for it? in alameda county or california

Most small restaurants are closed on Mondays or Tuesdays, unless they do enough business to be opened 7 days a week. Being open 7 days a week requires extra help. Most Federal holidays fall on Mondays. If you are planning to do lots of donut business, take Mondays off. Tuesdays or Wednesdays would the best choice for the other day off.

Australian Business names!!!? -

I want to open a business in a few years but I have a business name that i want to save until then. How can i register this business name and how much may it cost? Thanks

visit the trade mark site of you countrysearvh the name ,if that name is not in the site search, the go ahead and register it on line, more advanced the country ,you will find more easy way s to register it on line, sending you some links if you are and indian citizen, check it out, also please visit my site too.also i can make a website like mine for you in just 99$,kindly visit my site.

The following link provides all the information that you need. It s about $120 for three years to register a Business Name. However, if you register it, you are virtually saying that you are starting the business. if you just register the name as a Trademark Name, which costs a lot more (about $1000 for 3 years), then the name you register only pertains to the product or service that is trademarked. http://www.incorporator.com.au/business_Perhaps it is better to just cross your fingers and not register the name and hope no one else takes it. Even if they do, you can just add another word to it. I wanted to register Marksway but it was already taken so I registered Marksway Marketing and it was accepted.

I would like to start a business out of my home? -

I don t have any real capital to work with at this point so I can t even consider something big. I don t want a loan at this point because I am not sure that it would even do very well. Is it legal for me to start off under the table, or how much profit am I allowed to make before I have to file taxes on it? Thanks. The business would be making alterations, baby clothes and maternity.

Hello there,Yes it is illegal. The risks for doing such are tremendous. You risk everything you have and probably ever will have. You will have to account for this business on your taxes. To do otherwise is a crime. You will have to have adequate business liability insurance to protect you in case something goes wrong. You cannot get that by running a business that does not comply with the laws.I am sure there are folks who have succeeded nicely doing something as you propose. However, I had a close friend who tried it and ran into trouble. She was 5 or 6 years getting out of the mess. She only got out from under the mess then because she married someone who had enough money to bail her out.It is not that hard to do it in a matter that will protect your future. Just don t try it as you propose. It is not really worth the risks you face.Later,

The good news is that you only have to report the income from self-employment with your regular taxes (until you start making enough to hit quarterly reporting). That means that although you have to report all your revenue, it is offset by your business expenses. The key is to get the appropriate business license and tax ID numbers for your jurisdiction, keep good records, and file your taxes on time. You can start off as a sole proprietor (no cost) and later incorporate if the business takes off.
