My wifes boss has lost a cleaning contract and he says ? -

that the new contractor owes her 16 days holiday pay that she has not taken yet . He is refusing to pay her and says she must get the money from her new boss , this can t be right surely .

Ask your wife to visit her local CAB or call them. They re very good on advice when businesses change hands and the rights of the employees. In theory, her rights should remain the same when the company has been taken over and she should be entitled to her holiday pay. CAB will put her right.Good luck!

Depends on how she was transfered. She needs to talk to her new boss.

Personal Liability Protection for Consultants - DBA versus LLC -

I m thinking of beginning my own medical billing and collections consulting firm, but am concerned about personal risk/liability. Will setting myself up for doing business as and having clients sign a disclaimer acknowledging that any advice I provide is as-is without any implied warranty protect me and my personal assets; or do you suggest going the more costly route of working with a lawyer to LLC my consulting business? Thanks so much for any insight you can provide!

Laws vary by stateIn a case like this, you are the company. So forming an LLC (or eveb a corporation) may not protect you from acts of professional negligence; ie giving bad advise. Only a lawyer (in your state) well versed in liability law can answer that. Will setting myself up for doing business as and having clients sign a disclaimer acknowledging that any advice I provide is as-is without any implied warranty protect me Again, you need to talk to a local lawyer about the liability laws in your state. Just because you have someone sign a disclaimer, doesn t necessarily make it legally binding. In either case, dba or LLC, you need to make sure you have a good business liability policy.

Is there money in selling retro candy? -

I was wondering what is the mark up on candy? I would like to open a store in my area that sells retro candy.

The mark-up is high. Almost 50% for many candies. But the selling prices are low. That is why candy sellers are always hoping to move up to expensive chocolates or candy bouquets that can sell for high prices.Necco Wafers from the 1950 s is making a comeback. They are introducing new flavors and using better flavoring for their signature candy. There is not much money in selling candy, but you might hit the perfect time and get lucky.

Can any one help me with the sites where i can earn money online. please give me the real money earning sites? -

It depends on what you re willing to do. I earn pretty good money advertising adult sites. Pretty easy especially if you have your own website. No charges or anything and they pay you with no bull. They mail your earnings every week if you earn eanough. Minimum payout is only $50 so it s not hard to get steady paychecks. Guaranteed to earn money even if you re lazy like me. Here s the best way I have found to earn money online. You must realize you will not become an instant millionaire. However, it is a good way to make a good extra sum by the end of the month. Its EASY, FREE, LEGIT, SAFE.http://www.hits4pay.com/members/index.cgClick on the above url and sign up with hits 4 pay. This is a site where you get paid for reading e-mails. But wait, you re probably thinking what s the catch??? To be completely honest, the only catch is that you have to read and go through many e-mails and advertisements. HOWEVER, you will never have to subscribe or use your credit card information. Just sign up using your real information and try to refer others to make more money. You automatically receive $10.00 for just signing up... but you can only redeem a paycheck when you reach $25.00. I am a freshman in college and I have personally gone through so many sites that have proven to be scams or just a plain waste of my time. On this site I only spend about 5 minutes a day on reading e-mails and average $30-$40 month. This is a reputable site and I actually know many people (including myself) who were paid. No scam no credit card number/ purchases necessary. Hope that helps =)

Lucky you, I just ran across this site today. It is new and still under construction, so there isn t much content yet but there are still a few legit jobs to choose from. And hey, if you don t like what you see just check back in a few more days and they will have more opportunities.http://www.athomeopps.com

Who can give me any ideas on starting a business? -

First of all : It depend on many criteria s and things plus the most important thing (LUCK) ..1- What are your experiences ??.. do you have any kind of experience with any kind of job/ careers/ business ?? 2- What is your passion ?? (Yes it is important), at least you will actually love what you will do plus you will learn it and know about it easily and faster ..3- Investment now is a very hard decision.. Recession everywhere.. and alot of business closes and it is a real tough decision to open or start any business now.. Now practically ..4- 15 thousand is huge amount of money for small business .. (Never listen to all those who keep talking big about business and money needed (Most of really big guys started with amount less than that ..)..5- Don t think about anything big.. just think about something with wholesale (Less amount price you invest in ) .. like $1.00 average per piece (yes there is plenty).. 6- and it have to get 200-300% profitability at least .. Idea s ... cell phone accessories, women fashion accessories and jewelleries (I talk about cheap and affordable stuff).. Handbags and purses, sunglasses, etc.... All of those you can get a small kiosk in your mall or a high traffic area .. for less than $1000 rent.. So you still have $14000 left.. and your merchandise shouldn t exceed $5000.. so you will have about $8000-9000 as backup.... i m talking reality.. but first of all you have to think, and study your area/ town/ city as well for those stuff (and other stuff i didn t mention).. My advice go to your mall or the highest traffic area s in your city and start studying the customer s base.. and see for your self.. and never try to take any step now.. all rents now are much high and you will not have enough time to decide what is right for you..Good luck.. and keep it up..Source(s):Life .. degree, and business owner..

Home jobs any if you know plz contavt me? -

You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies. You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job. These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as work at home because they would hear from too many unqualified people

legit work at home jobs are hard to find. You would be better off working for yourself, starting your own internet business, building your own site, selling your own products, ads etc... find a niche market where you will enjoy what you re doing or have an interest in. hope this helps.

Good home jobs are for the most part a fantasy unless you have some special skill that you can do at home like transcription, software development, and writing proposals.

Yes home jobs available on the internet i am also working i suggest you http://onlinebusadv.blogspot.com check this source i hope this source can help you

Do you know when a business is profitable? -

I really need to know what the percentage of profits that a micro business need in order to be profitable. For example, a business need to earn between 15% and 35% of profits in order to be profitable. Please help me!! thanks! :)

All a business needs to do to be profitable is to make at least 1 cent more in revenues than they had in expenses for whatever time period you re examining. Any less than that would be unprofitable. By the way, your example sentence ( a business need to earn between 15% and 35% of profits in order to be profitable. ) makes absolutely no sense at all.

the percentage profit depends on the nature of your business as percentage profit (profit margin) from sales is also known as contributioncontribution - fixed costs and overheads = profit (pre tax if applicable)as long as contribution (selling price minus cost price) take away fixed costs and overheads is above 0 then your company is seen as profitable
