How to recieve money for childcare? -

I have been babysitting a family members child for the past month. Someone told me I could recieve money from the government for doing this. What is the process and how do I do this? Thanks.

In pennsylvania there is a program called Apple Childcare. It is a subsidy for people that have generally low income so they can receive reduced price for daycare. I used to receive this subsidy and the money would go directly to the daycare center. Your family member would have to apply for this money, in whatever program your state offers, usually you can do it online, then they would specify you as their childcare person and you would receive some money. I know that in my state there was a waiting list for the subsidy, and your family member would have to be diligent about submitting income information every 6 months or when their income changes.
